4 Mose 36

1 Es traten aber heran die Familienhäupter des Geschlechts der Söhne Gileads, des Sohnes Machirs, des Sohnes Manasses, aus den Geschlechtern der Söhne Josephs. Die brachten vor Mose und den Fürsten, den Stammhäuptern der Israeliten, ein Anliegen vor

And they drew near [the] leaders of the fathers of [the] clan of [the] descendants of Gilead [the] son of Makir [the] son of Manasseh from [the] clans of [the] descendants of Joseph and they spoke before Moses and before the leaders heads of fathers of [the] people of Israel.

2 und sprachen: Jahwe hat dir, o Herr, befohlen, den Israeliten das Land vermittelst des Loses zum Erbbesitze zu geben; auch wurde dir, o Herr, von Jahwe befohlen, das Erbe unseres Stammgenossen Zelophhad seinen Töchtern zu geben.

And they said lord my he commanded Yahweh to give the land an inheritance by lot to [the] people of Israel and lord my he was commanded by Yahweh to give [the] inheritance of Zelophehad brother our to daughters his.

3 Wenn diese nun einen Abkömmling der übrigen Stämme der Israeliten heiraten, so wird ihr Erbbesitz dem Erbbesitz unserer Väter entzogen und zu dem Erbbesitze des Stammes derer hinzugefügt, mit denen sie sich verheiraten, und der uns zufallende Erbbesitz wird dadurch geschmälert.

And they will belong to one of [the] sons of [the] tribes of [the] people of Israel to wives and it will be withdrawn inheritance their from [the] inheritance of ancestors our and it will be added to [the] inheritance of the tribe which they will belong to them and from [the] lot of inheritance our it will be withdrawn.

4 Wenn dann für die Israeliten das Halljahr kommt, so wird ihr Erbbesitz zu dem Erbbesitze des Stammes derer hinzugefügt werden, mit denen sie sich verheiraten; dem Erbbesitz unseres väterlichen Stammes aber wird ihr Erbbesitz entzogen werden.

And if it will come the jubilee of [the] people of Israel and it will be added inheritance their to [the] inheritance of the tribe which they will belong to them and from [the] inheritance of [the] tribe of ancestors our it will be withdrawn inheritance their.

5 Da gab Mose den Israeliten nach dem Befehle Jahwes folgende Anweisung: der Stamm der Söhne Josephs hat recht geredet.

And he commanded Moses [the] people of Israel on [the] mouth of Yahweh saying right [the] tribe of [the] descendants of Joseph [is] speaking.

6 Das ist's, was Jahwe in betreff der Töchter Zelophhads befohlen hat: Sie mögen sich verheiraten, mit wem es ihnen gefällt; nur müssen sie einen Angehörigen ihres väterlichen Stammes heiraten,

This [is] the word which he has commanded Yahweh of [the] daughters of Zelophehad saying to the good in eyes their they will belong to wives only to [the] clan of [the] tribe of ancestor their they will belong to wives.

7 damit nicht israelitischer Erbbesitz von einem Stamme zum andern übergehe. Vielmehr sollen sämtliche Israeliten an dem Erbbesitz ihres väterlichen Stammes festhalten.

And not it will go about an inheritance of [the] people of Israel from tribe to tribe for everyone on [the] inheritance of [the] tribe of ancestors his they will hold [the] people of Israel.

8 Und alle Mädchen, die in einem der israelitischen Stämme zu Erbbesitz gelangen, müssen einen Angehörigen ihres väterlichen Stammes heiraten, damit sämtliche Israeliten den väterlichen Erbbesitz behaupten,

And every daughter [who] possesses an inheritance from [the] tribes of [the] people of Israel to one of [the] clan of [the] tribe of father her she will belong to a wife so that they may possess [the] people of Israel everyone [the] inheritance of ancestors his.

9 und nicht Erbbesitz von einem Stamme zum andern übergehe. Vielmehr sollen sämtliche israelitischen Stämme an ihrem Erbbesitze festhalten.

And not it will go about an inheritance from tribe to tribe another for everyone on own inheritance its they will hold [the] tribes of [the] people of Israel.

10 Wie Jahwe Mose befohlen hatte, so taten die Töchter Zelophhads,

Just as he had commanded Yahweh Moses so they did [the] daughters of Zelophehad.

11 indem Mahla, Thirza, Hogla, Milka und Noa, die Töchter Zelophhads, die Söhne ihrer Oheime heirateten.

And they belonged Mahlah Tirzah and Hoglah and Milcah and Noah [the] daughters of Zelophehad to [the] sons of uncles their to wives.

12 Mit Männern aus den Geschlechtern der Söhne Manasses, des Sohnes Josephs, verheirateten sie sich, so daß ihr Erbbesitz bei dem Stamme verblieb, zu dem das Geschlecht ihres Vaters gehörte.

From [the] clans of [the] descendants of Manasseh [the] son of Joseph they became wives and it was inheritance their with [the] tribe of [the] clan of father their.

13 Das sind die Gebote und Rechtssatzungen, die Jahwe in den Steppen Moabs am Jordan gegenüber Jericho den Israeliten durch Mose anbefahl.

These [are] the commandments and the judgments which he commanded Yahweh by [the] hand of Moses to [the] people of Israel in [the] plains of Moab at [the] Jordan of Jericho.
