Lukas 4
1 Jesus aber voll heiligen Geistes kehrte zurück vom Jordan, und ward durch den Geist in der Wüste umgetrieben,
Yeshua [Salvation], full of Ruach haKodesh [Spirit of the Holiness], teshuvah ·completely returned· from the Jordan [Descender], and was led by haRuach [the Spirit] into the wilderness
2 vierzig Tage lang, versucht vom Teufel. Und er aß nichts in diesen Tagen, und wie sie zu Ende waren, hungerte ihn.
for forty days, being tempted by the devil. He ate nothing in those days. Afterward, when they were completed, he was hungry.
3 Es sagte aber der Teufel zu ihm: wenn du Gottes Sohn bist, so sprich zu diesem Stein, daß er Brot werde!
The devil said to him, “If you are the Ben-Elohim ·Son of Elohim God·, command this stone to become bread.”
4 Und Jesus antwortete ihm: es steht geschrieben: Nicht vom Brot allein soll der Mensch leben.
Yeshua [Salvation] answered him, saying, “It is written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every d'var Elohim ·word of God·.’”
5 Und er führte ihn hinauf und zeigte ihm alle Reiche der Welt in einem Augenblick.
The devil, leading him up on a high mountain, showed him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time.
6 Und der Teufel sagte zu ihm: ich will dir diese ganze Macht geben und die Herrlichkeit davon, denn es ist mir übergeben, und ich gebe es wem ich will.
The devil said to him, “I will give you all this authority, and their glory, for it has been delivered to me; and I give it to whomever I want.
7 Wenn du nun vor mir huldigst, so soll es alles dein sein.
If you therefore will worship before me, it will all be yours.”
8 Und Jesus antwortete ihm: es steht geschrieben: du sollst dem Herrn deinem Gott huldigen und ihn allein anbeten.
Yeshua [Salvation] answered him, “Get behind me Satan [Adversary]! For it is written, ‘You shall worship MarYah [Master Yahweh] your God, and you shall serve him only.’”
9 Er führte ihn aber nach Jerusalem und stellte ihn auf die Zinne des Tempels und sagte zu ihm: wenn du Gottes Sohn bist, so stürze dich von hier hinunter.
He led him to Jerusalem [City of peace], and set him on the pinnacle of the temple, and said to him, “If you are the Ben-Elohim ·Son of Elohim God·, cast yourself down from here,
10 Denn es steht geschrieben: er wird seinen Engeln Befehl geben deinetwegen, dich zu schützen,
for it is written, ‘He will enjoin his angels concerning you, to guard you;’
11 und sie werden dich auf Händen tragen, daß du deinen Fuß nicht an einen Stein stößest.
and, ‘On their hands they will bear you up, lest perhaps you dash your foot against a stone.’”
12 Und Jesus antwortete ihm: es ist gesagt: du sollst den Herrn deinen Gott nicht versuchen.
Yeshua [Salvation] answering, said to him, “It has been said, ‘You shall not tempt Yahweh your God.’”
13 Und nachdem der Teufel mit aller Versuchung zu Ende war, ließ er von ihm ab, bis zur Zeit.
When the devil had completed every temptation, he departed from him until another time.
14 Und Jesus kehrte in der Kraft des Geistes zurück nach Galiläa und es gieng sein Ruf aus in die ganze Umgegend,
Yeshua [Salvation] teshuvah ·completely returned· in the power of haRuach [the Spirit] into Galilee [District, Circuit], and news about him spread through all the surrounding area.
15 und er lehrte in ihren Synagogen, gepriesen von allen.
He taught in their synagogues, being glorified by all.
16 Und er kam nach Nazara, wo er auferzogen war, und trat nach seiner Gewohnheit am Sabbattage in die Synagoge ein, und stand auf zum Lesen.
He came to Nazareth [Branch, Separated one], where he had been brought up. He entered, as was his custom, into the synagogue on the Sabbath ·To cease· day, and stood up to read.
17 Und es ward ihm das Buch des Propheten Jesaias gegeben, und da er das Buch aufrollte, stieß er auf eine Stelle, wo geschrieben stand:
The book of the prophet Isaiah [Salvation of Yah] was handed to him. He opened the book, and found the place where it was written,
18 Des Herrn Geist ist über mir, darum weil er mich gesalbt hat, Armen die frohe Botschaft zu bringen, mich gesandt hat, zu verkünden Gefangenen Befreiung und Blinden Gesicht, zu entlassen Verwundete in Freiheit,
“The Ruach of MarYah [Spirit of Master Yahweh] is on me, because he has anointed me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent me to heal the broken hearted, to proclaim release to the captives, recovering of sight to the blind, to deliver those who are crushed,
19 zu verkünden des Herrn angenehmes Jahr.
and to proclaim the acceptable year of MarYah [Master Yahweh].”
20 Und er rollte das Buch zusammen, gab es dem Diener, und setzte sich, und aller Augen in der Synagoge waren auf ihn gerichtet.
He closed the book, gave it back to the attendant, and sat down. The eyes of all in the synagogue were fastened on him.
21 Er fieng aber an zu ihnen zu reden: heute ist diese Schrift erfüllt vor euren Ohren.
He began to tell them, “Today, this Scripture has been fulfilled in your hearing.”
22 Und alle zeugten für ihn und wunderten sich über die lieblichen Worte, die aus seinem Munde giengen, und sie sagten: ist das nicht Joseph's Sohn?
All testified about him, and wondered at the gracious words which proceeded out of his mouth, and they said, “Is not this Joseph [May he add]’s son?”
23 Und er sagte zu ihnen: ihr werdet freilich mir das Sprichwort entgegenhalten: Arzt, heile dich selber. Was wir gehört haben, daß in Kapernaum geschehen - thue auch hier so in deiner Vaterstadt.
He said to them, “Doubtless you will tell me this parable, ‘Physician, heal yourself! Whatever we have heard done at Capernaum [Village-Comfort, Village-Compassion], do also here in your hometown.’”
24 Er sagte aber: Wahrlich, ich sage euch, kein Prophet ist willkommen in seiner Vaterstadt.
He said, “Most certainly I tell you, no prophet is acceptable in his hometown.
25 In Wahrheit aber sage ich euch: es waren viele Witwen in den Tagen des Elias in Israel, als der Himmel verschlossen ward drei Jahre und sechs Monate, da eine große Hungersnot über das ganze Land kam.
But truly I tell you, there were many widows in Israel [God prevails] in the days of Elijah [My God Yah], when the sky was shut up three years and six months, when a great famine came over all the land.
26 Und Elias wurde zu keiner von ihnen geschickt außer nach Sarepta im Lande Sidon zu einer Witwe.
Elijah [My God Yah] was sent to none of them, except to Zarephath, in the land of Sidon, to a woman who was a widow.
27 Und viele Aussätzige waren in Israel zur Zeit des Propheten Elisäus und keiner von ihnen wurde gereinigt, außer der Syrer Naeman.
There were many people with tzara'at in Israel [God prevails] in the time of Elisha [My God salvation] the prophet, yet not one of them was cleansed, except Naaman, the Syrian.”
28 Und es wurden alle voll Unwillens in der Synagoge, als sie dieses hörten,
They were all filled with wrath in the synagogue, as they heard these things.
29 und standen auf und warfen ihn zur Stadt hinaus, und brachten ihn an den Rand des Berges, auf dem ihre Stadt gebaut ist, um ihn hinabzustürzen.
They rose up, threw him out of the city, and led him to the brow of the hill that their city was built on, that they might throw him off the cliff.
30 Er aber gieng mitten durch sie hin und zog davon.
But he, passing through the middle of them, went his way.
31 Und er kam hinab in die Galiläische Stadt Kapernaum, und lehrte daselbst am Sabbat;
He came down to Capernaum [Village-Comfort, Village-Compassion], a city of Galilee [District, Circuit]. He was teaching them on the Sabbath ·To cease· day,
32 und sie waren betroffen über seiner Lehre, denn sein Wort war ein Wort mit Vollmacht.
and they were astonished at his teaching, for his word was with authority.
33 Und in der Synagoge war ein Mensch, der den Geist eines unreinen Dämons hatte, der schrie laut auf:
In the synagogue there was a man who had a spirit of an unclean demon, and he cried out with a loud voice,
34 Laß doch, was haben wir mit dir, Jesus von Nazaret? du bist gekommen uns zu verderben, ich weiß, wer du bist: der Heilige Gottes.
saying, “Ah! what have we to do with you, Yeshua [Salvation] of Nazareth [Branch, Separated one]? Have you come to destroy us? I know you who you are: haKadosh Elohim [the Holy One of God]!”
35 Und Jesus bedrohte ihn und sprach: verstumme und fahre aus von ihm. Und der Dämon warf ihn nieder mitten unter sie, und fuhr aus von ihm ohne ihm Schaden gethan zu haben.
Yeshua [Salvation] rebuked him, saying, “Be silent, and come out of him!” When the demon had thrown him down in the middle of them, he came out of him, having done him no harm.
36 Und Staunen kam über sie alle, und sie sprachen untereinander und sagten: was ist das für ein Wort, daß er mit Vollmacht und Kraft den unreinen Geistern gebietet und sie fahren aus?
Amazement came on all, and they spoke together, one with another, saying, “What is this word? For with authority and power he commands the unclean spirits, and they come out!”
37 Und die Kunde von ihm gieng aus in alle Orte der Gegend.
News about him went out into every place of the surrounding region.
38 Er brach aber von der Synagoge auf, und gieng in das Haus Simons. Die Schwiegermutter Simons aber war von starkem Fieber befallen, und sie wandten sich an ihn ihretwegen.
He rose up from the synagogue, and entered into Simeon [Hearing]’s house. Simeon [Hearing]’s mother-in-law was afflicted with a great fever, and they begged him for her.
39 Und er trat hin, neigte sich über sie und bedrohte das Fieber, und es verließ sie; alsbald aber erhob sie sich und wartete ihnen auf.
He stood over her, and rebuked the fever; and it left her. Immediately she rose up and served them.
40 Als aber die Sonne untergieng, brachten alle, die Kranke hatten mit allerlei Uebeln, dieselben zu ihm, er aber legte jedem von ihnen einzeln die Hände auf und heilte sie.
When the sun was setting, all those who had any sick with various diseases brought them to him; and he laid his hands on every one of them, and healed them.
41 Es giengen aber auch Dämonen aus von vielen, die riefen und sagten: du bist der Sohn Gottes. Und er bedrohte sie und ließ sie nicht sagen, daß sie wissen, er sei der Christus.
Demons also came out of many, crying out, and saying, “You are the Messiah [Anointed one], the Ben-Elohim ·Son of Elohim God·!” Rebuking them, he didn’t allow them to speak, because they knew that he was the Messiah [Anointed one].
42 Da es aber Tag geworden, gieng er aus und zog an einen einsamen Ort, und die Massen suchten ihn und sie kamen zu ihm und hielten ihn fest, daß er nicht von ihnen ziehen sollte.
When it was day, he departed and went into an uninhabited place, and the multitudes looked for him, and came to him, and held on to him, so that he would not go away from them.
43 Er aber sagte zu ihnen: ich muß auch den andern Städten die frohe Botschaft bringen vom Reich Gottes, denn dazu bin ich ausgesandt.
But he said to them, “I must preach the good news of God’s Kingdom to the other cities also. For this reason I have been sent.”
44 Und er predigte in den Synagogen von Galiläa.
He was preaching in the synagogues of Galilee [District, Circuit].
