Jesaja 13
1 Ausspruch über Babel, den Jesaja, der Sohn des Amoz, empfing.
[the] oracle of Babylon which he saw Isaiah [the] son of Amoz.
2 Auf kahlem Berge pflanzt ein Panier auf, ruft ihnen laut zu, winkt mit der Hand, daß sie einziehn in die Thore der Tyrannen!
On a mountain swept bare lift up a standard lift up a voice to them wave a hand so they may go [the] doors of noble [people].
3 Ich selbst habe meine Geweihten entboten, ja berufen meine Helden zur Vollstreckung meines Zorns, meine Jubelnden und Stolzen!
I I have commanded to consecrated [ones] my also I have summoned warriors my to anger my [the] exultant [ones] of pride my.
4 Horch! es lärmt auf den Bergen wie zahlreiches Kriegsvolk; horch! es brausen Königreiche, versammelte Völker: Jahwe der Heerscharen mustert ein Kriegsheer.
[the] sound of A tumult [is] on the mountains [the] likeness of a people numerous [the] sound of an uproar of kingdoms of nations gathering Yahweh of hosts [is] mustering an army of battle.
5 Sie kommen aus fernem Lande, vom Ende des Himmels, Jahwe und die Werkzeuge seines Grimms, um die ganze Erde zu verheeren.
[they are] coming From a land of distance from [the] end of the heavens Yahweh and [the] weapons of indignation his to destroy all the land.
6 Heult! denn der Tag Jahwes ist nahe; er kommt wie Verwüstung vom Allmächtigen.
Wail for [is] near [the] day of Yahweh like devastation from [the] Almighty it will come.
7 Darob werden alle Hände erschlaffen und jegliches Menschenherz verzagen,
There-fore all hands they will drop and every heart of a person it will melt.
8 und sie werden bestürzt sein! Krämpfe und Wehen packen sie, wie eine Gebärende winden sie sich; einer starrt den andern an, ihre Gesichter glühen wie Flammen.
And they will be terrified - pangs and pains they will seize [them]! like [woman] giving birth they will be in anguish! each to neighbor his they will look in astonishment [will be] faces of flames faces their.
9 Schon kommt der Tag Jahwes, grausam und in Grimm und Zornglut, um die Erde zur Wüste zu machen und die Sünder auf ihr hinwegzutilgen.
There! [the] day of Yahweh [is] coming a cruel [day] and wrath and burning of anger to make the land a waste and sinners its he will destroy from it.
10 Denn die Sterne des Himmels und seine Orione werden ihr Licht nicht mehr leuchten lassen; die Sonne wird sich verfinstern, wenn sie aufgeht, und der Mond sein Licht nicht mehr erglänzen lassen.
For [the] stars of the heavens and constellations their not they will flash forth light their it will be dark the sun when goes forth it and [the] moon not it will make shine light its.
11 Und ich will die Bosheit an der Welt heimsuchen und an den Gottlosen ihre Missethat und dem Übermut der Vermessenen ein Ende machen und den Hochmut der Gewaltthätigen erniedrigen.
And I will visit on [the] world evil and on wicked [people] iniquity their and I will put an end to [the] pride of arrogant [people] and [the] haughtiness of ruthless [people] I will bring low.
12 Ich will die Sterblichen rarer machen als Gold und die Menschen rarer als Ophirgold.
I will make precious humankind more than pure gold and humankind more than [the] gold of Ophir.
13 Deshalb werde ich den Himmel erschüttern, und die Erde soll erzittern und ihre Stelle wechseln bei dem Grimme Jahwes der Heerscharen und am Tage seiner Zornglut.
There-fore heaven I will make tremble and it may shake the earth from place its in [the] wrath of Yahweh of hosts and in [the] day of [the] burning of anger his.
14 Und wie gescheuchte Gazellen und wie Schafe, die niemand zusammenhält, werden sie sich ein jeder zu seinem Volke wenden und ein jeder in seine Heimat fliehn.
And it will be like a gazelle hunted and like sheep and there not [will be one who] gathers everyone to own people his they will turn and everyone to own land his they will flee.
15 Alle Ergriffenen werden durchbohrt und alle Erhaschten fallen durchs Schwert.
Every [one who] is found he will be pierced through and every [one who] is captured he will fall by the sword.
16 Ihre Kinder werden vor ihren Augen zerschmettert, ihre Häuser geplündert und ihre Weiber geschändet.
And children their they will be dashed in pieces to eyes their they will be plundered houses their and wives their (they will be lain with. *QK)
17 Schon reize ich wider sie die Meder an, die des Silbers nicht achten und am Golde kein Gefallen haben.
Here I [am] about to rouse on them Media who silver not they value and gold not they delight in it.
18 Und Bogen werden Jünglinge zerschmettern; und sie werden sich weder der Leibesfrucht erbarmen, noch mitleidig auf die Kinder blicken.
And bows youths they will dash in pieces and [the] fruit of [the] womb not they will have compassion on on children not it will look with pity eye their.
19 Und es ergeht Babel, der Zierde der Königreiche, der stolzen Pracht der Chaldäer, wie es erging, als Gott Sodom und Gomorrha von Grund aus zerstörte.
And it will be Babylon [the] beauty of kingdoms [the] splendor of [the] pride of [the] Chaldeans like [the] overthrow of God Sodom and Gomorrah.
20 Nie soll sie mehr besiedelt sein, noch bewohnt auf Geschlecht und Geschlecht; nicht sollen dort Araber zelten, noch Hirten dort lagern lassen.
Not it will remain to perpetuity and not it will settle until a generation and a generation and not he will pitch a tent there an Arab and shepherds not they will make lie down there.
21 Vielmehr sollen sich Wüstentiere dort lagern und die Häuser mit Uhus angefüllt sein. Strauße sollen dort wohnen und Bocksgeister dort tanzen,
And they will lie down there desert-dwellers and they will be full houses their jackals and they will dwell there daughters of an ostrich and goats they will leap about there.
22 und die Wildhunde in den Palästen sollen dazu heulen, und die Schakale in den Lustschlössern. Ihre Zeit ist nahe herbeigekommen und ihre Tage werden sich nicht hinziehen.
And it will sing hyenas in palaces its and jackals in [the] palaces of delight and [is] near to go time its and days its not they will be prolonged.
