2 Mose 21
1 Folgendes sind die Rechtssatzungen, die du ihnen vorlegen sollst:
And these [are] the judgments which you will set before them.
2 Wenn du einen Sklaven hebräischen Stammes kaufst, so soll er sechs Jahre lang Sklavendienste verrichten; im siebenten Jahr aber soll er unentgeltlich freigelassen werden.
For you will buy a slave Hebrew six years he will serve and in the seventh [year] he will go out to free [person] without paying.
3 Wenn er allein eingetreten ist, so soll er auch allein entlassen werden; wenn er ein Weib gehabt hat, so soll auch sein Weib mit ihm zugleich entlassen werden.
If with body his he will come with body his he will go out if [is the] husband of a wife he and she will go out wife his with him.
4 Wenn sein Herr ihm ein Weib gegeben und sie ihm Knaben oder Mädchen geboren hat, so soll das Weib nebst ihren Kindern ihrem Herrn gehören, und er soll allein entlassen werden.
If master his he will give to him a wife and she will bear to him sons or daughters the woman and children her she will belong to master her and he he will go out with body his.
5 Wenn jedoch der Sklave erklären sollte: Ich habe meinen Herrn, mein Weib und meine Kinder lieb und mag nicht frei werden,
And if carefully he will say the slave I love master my wife my and children my not I will go out a free [person].
6 so soll ihn sein Herr vor Gott führen und ihn an die Thüre oder den Thürpfosten stellen, und sein Herr soll ihm das Ohr mit einem Pfriemen durchbohren; so soll er dann für immer sein Sklave sein.
And he will bring near him master his to God and he will bring near him to the door or to the doorpost and he will pierce master his ear his with the awl and he will serve him for ever.
7 Wenn jemand seine Tochter als Sklavin verkauft, so darf sie nicht entlassen werden, wie die Sklaven.
And if he will sell a man daughter his to a female slave not she will go out when go out the [male] slaves.
8 Wenn sie ihrem Herrn, der sie für sich bestimmt hat, mißfällt, so soll er sie loskaufen lassen; aber an volksfremde Leute darf er sie nicht verkaufen, wenn er ihr sein Wort nicht hält.
If [she is] displeasing in [the] eyes of master her who (for himself *QK) he designated her and he will let be ransomed her to a people foreign not he will have dominion to sell her because has dealt treacherously he with her.
9 Wenn er sie für seinen Sohn bestimmt, so soll er sie wie seine eigene Tochter behandeln.
And if for son his he will designate her according to [the] custom of daughters he will do to her.
10 Wenn er sich eine andere nimmt, darf er jener nichts von dem abbrechen, was sie an Fleischnahrung, Kleidung und Beiwohnung zu beanspruchen hat.
If another [woman] he will take for himself food her covering her and right to intercourse her not he will reduce.
11 Wenn er ihr diese drei Dinge nicht leistet, so soll sie umsonst, ohne Entgelt, frei werden.
And if three [things] these not he will do for her and she will go out without paying not money.
12 Wer einen anderen schlägt, so daß er stirbt, der soll mit dem Tode bestraft werden.
[one who] will strike anyone And he will die certainly he will be put to death.
13 Wenn er es aber nicht vorsätzlich gethan, sondern Gott es durch ihn so gefügt hat, so will ich dir eine Stätte bestimmen, wohin er flüchten kann.
And that not he was lying in wait and God he allowed to happen to hand his and I will designate for you a place where he will flee there.
14 Wenn aber einer gegen den anderen eine offenbare Frevelthat begeht, indem er ihn auf hinterlistige Weise totschlägt, so sollst du ihn sogar von meinem Altare wegholen, damit er hingerichtet werde.
And if he will act presumptuously anyone on neighbor his to kill him with cunning from with altar my you will take him to die.
15 Wer seinen Vater oder seine Mutter schlägt, soll mit dem Tode bestraft werden.
And [one who] will strike father his and mother his certainly he will be put to death.
16 Wer einen Israeliten raubt, mag er ihn nun verkaufen, oder mag er noch bei ihm vorgefunden werden -, der soll mit dem Tode bestraft werden.
And [one who] will steal anyone and he will sell him and he will be found in hand his certainly he will be put to death.
17 Wer eine Verwünschung über seinen Vater oder seine Mutter ausspricht, soll mit dem Tode bestraft werden.
And [one who] will curse father his and mother his certainly he will be put to death.
18 Wenn ein paar Männer einen Streit haben, und einer den andern mit einem Stein oder mit einem Karst schlägt, so daß er zwar nicht stirbt, aber bettlägerig wird,
And if they will quarrel! men and he will strike anyone neighbor his with a stone or with a fist and not he will die and he will fall to a bed.
19 so soll, wenn der Geschlagene wieder aufkommt und auf seinen Stock gestützt im Freien herumgehen kann, der Thäter frei ausgehen; bloß für die Zeit, wo er unthätig bleiben mußte, soll er ihn entschädigen und für seine Heilung Sorge tragen.
If he will arise and he will walk about on the outside on staff his and he will be free from guilt the [one who] struck only sitting still his he will pay for and certainly he will have [him] healed.
20 Wenn jemand seinen Sklaven oder seine Sklavin mit dem Stocke schlägt, so daß er ihm unter der Hand stirbt, so soll er bestraft werden.
And if he will strike anyone [male] slave his or female slave his with the rod and he will die under hand his certainly he will be avenged.
21 Wenn er dagegen noch einen oder zwei Tage leben bleibt, so soll er nicht bestraft werden; denn er ist ja sein um Geld erkauftes Eigentum.
Nevertheless if a day or two days he will remain not he will be avenged for [is] money his he.
22 Wenn aber Leute einen Raufhandel haben und dabei ein schwangeres Weib stoßen, so daß eine Fehlgeburt erfolgt, ohne daß weiterer Schaden geschieht, so soll der Thäter eine Buße entrichten, wie sie ihm der Ehemann des Weibes auferlegt, und er soll sie bezahlen nach dem Ausspruch von Schiedsrichtern.
And if they will struggle together men and they will strike a woman pregnant and they will come out children her and not it will be harm certainly he will be fined just as he will impose on him [the] husband of the woman and he will give for [the] estimate.
23 Geschieht aber ein Schaden, so soll einer lassen Leben um Leben,
And if harm it will be and you will give a life in place of a life.
24 Auge um Auge, Zahn um Zahn, Hand um Hand, Fuß um Fuß,
An eye in place of an eye a tooth in place of a tooth a hand in place of a hand a foot in place of a foot.
25 Brandwunde um Brandwunde, Stichwunde um Stichwunde, Hiebwunde um Hiebwunde.
Burning in place of burning bruise in place of bruise wound in place of wound.
26 Wenn jemand seinem Sklaven oder seiner Sklavin ins Auge schlägt so daß dasselbe unbrauchbar wird, so soll er ihn zur Entschädigung für das Auge freilassen.
And if he will strike anyone [the] eye of [male] slave his or [the] eye of female slave his and he will destroy it to free [person] he will set free him in place of eye his.
27 Und wenn er seinem Sklaven oder seiner Sklavin einen Zahn ausschlägt, so soll er ihn zur Entschädigung für den Zahn freilassen.
And if [the] tooth of [male] slave his or [the] tooth of female slave his he will knock out to free [person] he will set free him in place of tooth his.
28 Wenn ein Rind einen Mann oder eine Frau totstößt, so soll das Rind gesteinigt und darf sein Fleisch nicht gegessen werden; der Besitzer des Rindes aber soll frei ausgehen.
And if it will gore an ox a man or a woman and he will die certainly it will be stoned to death the ox and not it will be eaten meat its and [the] owner of the ox [will be] free from guilt.
29 Wenn aber das Rind schon längst stößig gewesen ist, und man dies seinem Besitzer vorgehalten, und er es trotzdem nicht sorgfältig gehütet hat, so soll das Rind, wenn es einen Mann oder eine Frau totstößt, gesteinigt, aber auch sein Besitzer mit dem Tode bestraft werden.
And if [will be] an ox prone to gore it from yesterday three days ago and it has been protested on owner its and not he will guard it and it will kill a man or a woman the ox it will be stoned to death and also owner its he will be put to death.
30 Wenn ihm ein Lösegeld auferlegt wird, soll er als Lösegeld für sein Leben so viel bezahlen, als ihm auferlegt wird.
If a ransom it will be imposed on him and he will give [the] ransom of life his according to all that it will be imposed on him.
31 Wenn ein Knabe oder ein Mädchen gestoßen wird, so soll nach demselben Rechte mit ihm verfahren werden.
Or a son it will gore or a daughter it will gore according to the judgment this it will be done to him.
32 Wenn das Rind einen Sklaven oder eine Sklavin stößt, so sollen dem Eigentümer derselben dreißig Sekel Silber bezahlt, das Rind aber gesteinigt werden.
If a [male] slave it will gore the ox or a female slave silver - thirty shekels he will give to master his and the ox it will be stoned to death.
33 Wenn jemand eine Cisterne offen läßt oder wenn jemand eine Cisterne gräbt, ohne sie zuzudecken, und ein Rind oder ein Esel hineinfällt,
And if he will open anyone a pit or for he will dig anyone a pit and not he will cover it and it will fall there an ox or a donkey.
34 so soll der Besitzer der Cisterne den Besitzer desselben mit Geld entschädigen; das tote Tier aber soll ihm selbst gehören.
[the] owner of The pit he will make compensation silver he will repay to owner its and the dead [animal] it will be[long] to him.
35 Wenn jemandes Rind das Rind eines andern totstößt, so sollen sie das lebende Rind verkaufen und den Erlös dafür unter sich teilen; auch das tote sollen sie unter sich teilen.
And if it will strike [the] ox of anyone [the] ox of neighbor his and it will die and they will sell the ox living and they will divide silver its and also the dead [animal] they will divide!
36 Wenn es aber bekannt war, daß das Rind schon längst stößig war, und sein Besitzer es nicht sorgfältig gehütet hat, soll er als Ersatz für jenes Rind ein Rind hergeben, das tote aber soll ihm zufallen.
Or it is known that [is] an ox prone to gore it from yesterday three days ago and not he guarded it owner its certainly he will make compensation an ox in place of the ox and the dead [animal] it will be[long] to him.
