Prediger 5

1 Hüte deinen Fuß, wenn du zum Hause Gottes gehst. Denn herzukommen, um zu hören, ist besser, als wenn die Thoren Schlachtopfer bringen; denn sie sind unwissend, so daß sie Böses thun.

Guard (foot your *QK) when you will go to [the] house of God and draw near to listen more than giving the fools a sacrifice for not they [are] knowing to do evil.

2 Sei nicht vorschnell mit dem Munde, und dein Herz eile nicht, ein Wort vor Gott auszusprechen; denn Gott ist im Himmel und du bist auf Erden: darum seien deiner Worte wenige.

May not you be hasty on mouth your and heart your may not it hasten to bring forth a matter before God for God [is] in the heavens and you [are] on the earth there-fore let them be words your few.

3 Denn Träume kommen, wo viel Sorge ist, und thörichtes Gerede, wo viel Worte sind.

For it comes the dream with abundance of business and [the] voice a fool with a multitude of words.

4 Wenn du Gott ein Gelübde thust, so säume nicht, es zu erfüllen, denn er hat kein Wohlgefallen an den Thoren; was du gelobst, erfülle.

When you will vow a vow to God may not you delay to pay it for there not [is] pleasure in fools [that] which you will vow pay.

5 Besser, du gelobst nicht, als daß du gelobst und nicht erfüllst.

[is] good That not you will vow more than what you will vow and not you will pay.

6 Gestatte deinem Munde nicht, deinen Leib in Schuld zu bringen, und sage nicht vor dem Boten Gottes: es war eine Übereilung! Warum soll Gott zürnen über dein Gerede und das Werk deiner Hände verderben?

May not you permit mouth your to cause to sin flesh your and may not you say before the messenger that [was] inadvertence it why? will he be angry God towards voice your and he will destroy [the] work of hands your.

7 Denn bei vielem Träumen und Reden giebt es auch viel Eitles. Fürchte vielmehr Gott!

For in abundance of dreams and futilities and words many for God fear.

8 Wenn du Bedrückung des Armen und Entziehung von Recht und Gerechtigkeit in der Landschaft siehst, so wundere dich nicht über die Sache; denn ein Hoher wacht über den andern und ein Höchster über sie alle.

If oppression of a poor person and robbery of justice and righteousness you will see in the province do not be astonished on the matter for a high [one] over a high [one] [is] watching and high [ones] over them.

9 Aber ein Vorzug für ein Land ist allewege ein dem Ackerbau ergebener König.

And [the] profit of a land [is] in everything (it *Qk) a king to a field he has been served.

10 Wer Geld liebt, wird Geldes nicht satt, und wer den Reichtum liebt, hat keinen Nutzen davon. Auch das ist eitel.

[one who] loves Silver not he will be satisfied silver and whoever [is] loving wealth not income also this [is] futility.

11 Mehrt sich das Gut, so mehren sich, die es verzehren, und welchen Gewinn hat sein Besitzer davon, als den Anblick?

When increases the good they increase [those who] consume it and what? profit [belongs] to owner its that except ([the] sight of *QK) eyes his.

12 Süß ist der Schlaf des Arbeiters, mag er wenig oder viel essen; aber den Reichen läßt der Überfluß nicht zum Schlafen kommen.

[is] sweet [the] sleep of The laborer whether a little and or [surely] much he will eat and the plenty of the rich [person] not it [is] permitting him to sleep.

13 Es giebt ein schlimmes Übel, das ich sah unter der Sonne: Reichtum, der von seinem Besitzer zu seinem Unglück gehütet wird.

There [is] an evil severe [which] I have seen under the sun wealth [was] being kept by owner its to harm his.

14 Geht dieser Reichtum durch einen schlimmen Fall verloren, und hat er einen Sohn gezeugt, so bleibt nichts in dessen Hand.

And it was lost the wealth that in a business of evil and he fathered a son and not [was] in hand his anything.

15 Wie er aus seiner Mutter Leibe hervorgegangen ist, so wird er nackt wieder dahin gehen, wie er gekommen ist, und wird nichts davon tragen für seine Mühe, das er mitnehme in seiner Hand.

Just as he came out from [the] womb of mother his naked he will return to go when he came and anything not he will carry in toil his that he may take in hand his.

16 Auch das ist ein schlimmes Übel: genau so, wie er kam, wird er davon gehen, und was für Gewinn hat er davon, daß er sich müht in den Wind?

And also this [is] an evil severe like exactly as [that] which came so he will go and what? [is the] profit [belongs] to him that he will toil for the wind.

17 Dazu sind alle seine Tage in Finsternis und Trauer und viel Unmut und Leid und Verdruß.

Also all days his in darkness he eats and he is vexed greatly and sickness his and anger.

18 Fürwahr, was ich als gut, als schön ersehen habe, ist dies, daß einer esse und trinke und Gutes genieße bei aller seiner Mühe, womit er sich müht unter der Sonne, alle seine Lebenstage hindurch, die ihm Gott gegeben hat; denn das ist sein Teil.

Here! [that] which I have seen I [to be] good [that] which [is] beautiful [is] to eat and to drink and to see good in all toil his - that someone will toil under the sun [the] number of [the] days of (life his *Qk) which he has given to him God for that [is] portion his.

19 Auch wenn Gott irgend einem Menschen Reichtum und Schätze verliehen und in stand gesetzt hat, davon zu genießen und sein Teil dahinzunehmen, und sich an seiner Arbeit zu erfreuen: das ist eine Gabe Gottes.

Also every person whom he has given to him God wealth and riches and he has given power him to eat from it and to receive portion his and to rejoice in toil his this [is] a gift of God it.

20 Denn ein solcher denkt nicht viel an die Kürze seiner Lebenstage, indem Gott die Freude seines Herzens gewährt.

For not [surely] much he will remember [the] days of life his for God [is] keeping busy with [the] joy of heart his.
