2 Chronik 4
1 Weiter fertigte er einen kupfernen Altar an, zwanzig Ellen lang, zwanzig Ellen breit und zehn Ellen hoch.
And he made an altar of bronze [was] twenty cubit[s] length its and [was] twenty cubit[s] breadth its and [was] ten cubits height its.
2 Und er fertigte das Meer, aus Erz gegossen, von einem Rande bis zum anderen zehn Ellen weit, ringsum rund und fünf Ellen hoch, und eine Schnur von dreißig Ellen umspannte dasselbe ringsum.
And he made the sea cast ten by the cubit from lip its to lip its round - all around and five by the cubit height its and a measuring-line thirty by the cubit it went round it all around.
3 Unterhalb aber war es ganz ringsum von Rindergestalten - je zehn auf die Elle - umgeben; die umgaben das Meer ringsum, zwei Reihen von Rindern, die gleich bei seinem Gusse mitgegossen waren.
And [the] likeness of oxen [was] under it all around - all around going round it ten by the cubit surrounding the sea all around [were] two rows the cattle cast in casting its.
4 Es stand auf zwölf Rindern; drei waren gegen Norden gewendet, drei gegen Westen, drei gegen Süden und drei gegen Osten. Das Meer aber ruhte oben auf ihnen, und alle ihre Hinterteile waren nach innen gewendet.
[it was] standing On two plus ten cattle three [were] turning - north-ward and three [were] turning - west-ward and three - [were] turning south-ward and three [were] turning east-ward and the sea [was] on them from to above and all hindquarters their [were] inside towards.
5 Und seine Dicke betrug eine Handbreite, und sein Rand war wie der Rand eines Bechers gestaltet, nach Art einer Lilienblüte; es faßte dreitausend Bath.
And thickness its [was] a hand breadth and lip its [was] like [the] work of [the] lip of a cup [the] blossom of a lily holding baths three thousand it contained.
6 Weiter fertigte er zehn Becken; fünf davon stellte er rechts und fünf links auf, damit man darin wüsche (Man spülte darin ab, was zum Brandopfer gehört); das Meer aber, damit sich die Priester darin wüschen.
And he made lavers ten and he put five from [the] south and five from [the] left to wash in them [the] work of the burnt offering people rinsed in them and the sea to wash [was] for the priests in it.
7 Sodann fertigte er die goldenen Leuchter, zehn an der Zahl, gemäß der für sie geltenden Vorschrift, und stellte sie in den Hauptraum, fünf zur Rechten und fünf zur Linken.
And he made [the] lampstands of gold ten according to ordinance their and he put [them] in the temple five from [the] south and five from [the] north.
8 Weiter fertigte er zehn Tische und stellte sie in den Hauptraum, fünf zur Rechten und fünf zur Linken; auch fertigte er hundert goldene Sprengschalen.
And he made tables ten and he placed [them] in the temple five from [the] south and five from [the] north and he made bowls of gold one hundred.
9 Sodann machte er den Vorhof der Priester und den großen Hof und Thüren zu dem Hof; die zugehörigen Thürflügel überzog er mit Erz.
And he made [the] court of the priests and the precinct great and doors for the precinct and doors their he overlaid bronze.
10 Das Meer aber stellte er auf der Südseite des Tempels auf, nach Osten zu, gegenüber dem Süden.
And the sea he put from [the] side of south east-ward from in front of [the] south.
11 Und Huram fertigte die Töpfe, Schaufeln und Sprengschalen, und so vollendete Huram die Arbeiten, die er dem Könige Salomo am Tempel Gottes gefertigt hatte:
And he made Huram the pots and the shovels and the bowls. And he finished (Huram *QK) to do the work which he did for the king Solomon on [the] house of God.
12 zwei Säulen und die beiden Kugeln der Knäufe oben auf den Säulen und die beiden Gitter, um die beiden Kugeln der Knäufe oben auf den Säulen zu bedecken,
Pillars two and the bowls and the capitals on [the] top of the pillars two and the networks two to cover [the] two [the] bowls of the capitals which [were] on [the] top of the pillars.
13 und die vierhundert Granatäpfel für die beiden Gitter, zwei Reihen Granatäpfel für jedes Gitter;
And the pomegranates four hundred for [the] two the networks two rows pomegranates for the network one to cover [the] two [the] bowls of the capitals which [were] on [the] face of the pillars.
14 ferner die zehn Gestühle und die zehn Becken auf den Gestühlen
And the stands he made and the lavers he made on the stands.
15 und das eine Meer und die zwölf Rinder darunter.
The sea one and the cattle two plus ten under it.
16 Und die Töpfe, Schaufeln, Gabeln und alle zugehörigen Geräte fertigte Huram-Abiw dem Könige Salomo für den Tempel Jahwes aus poliertem Erz.
And the pots and the shovels and the forks and all articles their he made Huram Abi for the king Solomon for [the] house of Yahweh bronze polished.
17 In der Jordansaue ließ sie der König gießen, in Formen von Thonerde, zwischen Sukkoth und Zereda.
In [the] valley of the Jordan he cast them the king in [the] thickness of the ground between Succoth and between Zeredah.
18 Und Salomo ließ alle diese Geräte in sehr großer Anzahl fertigen, denn das Gewicht des Erzes wurde nicht festgestellt.
And he made Solomon all the articles these to abundance exceedingly that not it was ascertained [the] weight of the bronze.
19 Und Salomo fertigte alle die Geräte, die sich im Tempel Gottes befanden: den goldenen Altar, die Tische mit den Schaubroten darauf,
And he made Solomon all the articles which [were] [the] house of God and [the] altar of gold and the tables and on them [the] bread of the presence.
20 die Leuchter samt den zugehörigen Lampen, damit sie vorschriftsmäßig vor dem Hinterraum angezündet würden, aus feinem Gold,
And the lampstands and lamps their to burn they according to the ordinance before the innermost room gold pure gold.
21 und die Büten, Lampen und Lichtscheren aus Gold - und zwar aus lauterstem Gold -
And the blossom and the lamps and the tongs gold it [was] perfection of gold.
22 und die Messer, Sprengschalen, Schüsseln und Pfannen aus feinem Gold. Und was die Thüren des Tempels betrifft, so waren ihre inneren Flügel, die zum Allerheiligsten führten, und die Thürflügel des Gebäudes, die zum Hauptraume führten, von Gold.
And the snuffers and the bowls and the pans and the fire-pans gold pure gold and [the] entrance of the house doors its inner to [the] holy place of the holy places and [the] doors of the house of the temple gold.
