1 Chronik 15

1 Und er baute sich Häuser in der Stadt Davids und richtete eine Stätte für die Lade Gottes her und schlug ein Zelt für sie auf.

And he made for himself houses in [the] city of David and he prepared a place for [the] ark of God and he pitched for it a tent.

2 Damals befahl David: Die Lade Gottes darf niemand tragen außer den Leviten; denn sie hat Jahwe erwählt, die Lade Gottes zu tragen und ihm immerdar zu dienen!

Then he said David not to carry [the] ark of God that except the Levites for them - he had chosen Yahweh to carry [the] ark of Yahweh and to serve him until perpetuity.

3 Da berief David das ganze Israel zusammen nach Jerusalem, um die Lade Jahwes hinaufzubringen an ihre Stätte, die er für sie hergerichtet hatte.

And he assembled David all Israel to Jerusalem to bring up [the] ark of Yahweh to place its which he had prepared for it.

4 Und David versammelte die Nachkommen Aarons und die Leviten:

And he gathered David [the] descendants of Aaron and the Levites.

5 Von den Nachkommen Kahaths: Uriel, den Obersten, und seine Verwandten, 120.

Of [the] descendants of Kohath Uriel the leader and relatives his one hundred and twenty.

6 Von den Nachkommen Meraris: Asaja, den Obersten, und seine Verwandten, 220.

Of [the] descendants of Merari Asaiah the leader and relatives his two hundred and twenty.

7 Von den Nachkommen Gersoms: Joel, den Obersten, und seine Verwandten, 130.

Of [the] descendants of Gershom Joel the leader and relatives his one hundred and thirty.

8 Von den Nachkommen Elizaphans: Semaja, den Obersten, und seine Verwandten, 200.

Of [the] descendants of Elizaphan Shemaiah the leader and relatives his two hundred.

9 Von den Nachkommen Hebrons: Eliel, den Obersten, und seine Verwandten 80.

Of [the] descendants of Hebron Eliel the leader and relatives his eighty.

10 Von den Nachkommen Ussiels: Amminadab, den Obersten, und seine Verwandten, 112.

Of [the] descendants of Uzziel Amminadab the leader and relatives his one hundred and two plus ten.

11 Sodann berief David die Priester Zadok und Abjatar und die Leviten Uriel, Asaja, Joel, Semaja, Eliel und Amminadab

And he summoned David Zadok and Abiathar the priests and the Levites Uriel Asaiah and Joel Shemaiah and Eliel and Amminadab.

12 und sprach zu ihnen: Ihr seid die Familienhäupter der Leviten; heiligt euch, samt euren Brüdern, damit ihr die Lade Jahwes, des Gottes Israels, hinauf an die Stätte bringt, die ich für sie hergerichtet habe.

And he said to them you [are] [the] chiefs of the fathers of the Levites consecrate yourselves you and relatives your and you will bring up [the] ark of Yahweh [the] God of Israel to [where] I have prepared for it.

13 Weil ihr das erste Mal nicht zugegen wart, hat Jahwe, unser Gott, einen Riß an uns gerissen; denn wir haben uns nicht um seine Vorschrift gekümmert.

For to what? at the first [time] not you he burst out Yahweh God our against us for not we sought him according to the ordinance.

14 Da heiligten sich die Priester und die Leviten, um die Lade Jahwes, des Gottes Israels, hinaufzubringen.

And they consecrated themselves the priests and the Levites to bring up [the] ark of Yahweh [the] God of Israel.

15 Sodann hoben die Leviten die Lade Gottes, wie Mose nach dem Befehle Jahwes verordnet hatte, mit den Tragstangen auf sich, auf ihre Schulter.

And they carried [the] descendants of the Levites [the] ark of God just as he had commanded Moses according to [the] word of Yahweh on shoulders their with poles on them.

16 Hierauf befahl David den Obersten der Leviten, ihre Stammesgenossen, die Sänger, mit ihren Musiukinstrumenten, den Harfen, Zithern und Cymbeln zu bestellen, damit sie lauten Jubelschall ertönen ließen.

And he said David to [the] leaders of the Levites to appoint relatives their the singers with instruments of song lyres and harps and cymbals sounding aloud to raise a sound of joy.

17 Da bestellten die Leviten Heman, den Sohn Joels, und von seinen Stammesgenossen Asaph, den Sohn Berechjas, und von den Nachkommen Meraris, ihren Stammesgenossen, Ethan, den Sohn Kusajas.

And they appointed the Levites Heman [the] son of Joel and of relatives his Asaph [the] son of Berekiah. And of [the] descendants of Merari relatives their Ethan [the] son of Kushaiah.

18 Und mit ihnen ihre Stammesgenossen, die vom zweiten Rang: Sacharja, Jaasiel, Semiramoth, Jehiel, Unni, Eliab, Benaja, Maaseja, Mattithja, Eliphelehu, Mikneja, Obed-Edom und Jeiel, die Thorhüter.

And with them relatives their the second in rank Zechariah Ben and Jaaziel and Shemiramoth and Jehiel - and Unni Eliab and Benaiah and Maaseiah and Mattithiah and Eliphelehu and Mikneiah and Obed-Edom and Jeiel the gatekeepers.

19 Dazu die Sänger, Heman, Asaph und Ethan, mit ehernen Cymbeln, um laut zu spielen;

And the singers Heman Asaph and Ethan with cymbals bronze [were] to sound aloud.

20 Sacharja aber, Asiel, Semiramoth, Jehiel, Unni, Eliab, Maaseja und Benaja mit Harfen nach Jungfrauenweise,

And Zechariah and Aziel and Shemiramoth and Jehiel and Unni and Eliab and Maaseiah and Benaiah with lyres on alamoth.

21 Mattithja, Eliphelehu, Mikneja, Obed-Edom, Jeiel und Asasja mit Zithern nach der achten, um den Gesang zu leiten.

And Mattithiah and Eliphelehu and Mikneiah and Obed-Edom and Jeiel and Azaziah with harps on the sheminith to act as overseers.

22 Kenanja aber, der Oberste der Leviten beim Tragen, hatte die Aufsicht über das Tragen, denn er verstand sich darauf.

And Kenaniah [the] leader of the Levites in a lifting up an instructor in the lifting up for [was] a teacher he.

23 Und Berechja und Elkana waren Thorhüter der Lade.

And Berekiah and Elkanah [were] gatekeepers for the ark.

24 Sebanja aber, Josaphat, Nethaneel, Amasai, Sacharja, Benaja, Elieser, die Priester, bliesen vor der Lade Gottes her mit Trompeten, und Obed-Edom und Jehia waren Thorhüter der Lade.

And Shebaniah and Joshaphat and Nethanel and Amasai and Zechariah and Benaiah and Eliezer the priests ([were] blowing a trumpet *Qk) on trumpets before [the] ark of God and Obed-Edom and Jehiah [were] gatekeepers for the ark.

25 David aber und die Vornehmsten der Israeliten und die Obersten der Tausendschaften zogen hin, um die Lade mit dem Gesetze Jahwes aus dem Hause Obed-Edoms voller Freude hinaufzubringen.

And it was David and [the] elders of Israel and [the] leaders of the thousands [were] the [ones who] went to bring up [the] ark of [the] covenant of Yahweh from [the] house of Obed-Edom with joy.

26 Und als Gott den Leviten, die die Lade mit dem Gesetze Jahwes trugen, beistand, opferte man sieben Farren und sieben Widder.

And it was because helped God the Levites [the] bearers of [the] ark of [the] covenant of Yahweh and they sacrificed seven young bulls and seven rams.

27 David aber war mit einem Mantel von Byssus bekleidet und ebenso alle Leviten, die die Lade trugen, und die Sänger und Kenanja, der Oberste beim Tragen, der Oberste der Sänger; David aber trug ein linnenes Schulterkleid.

And David [was] wrapped - in a robe of fine linen and all the Levites who were carrying the ark and the singers and Kenaniah the leader the lifting up the singers and [was] on David an ephod of linen.

28 Und das ganze Israel brachte die Lade mit dem Gesetze Jahwes hinauf unter Jubel und lautem Posaunenschall und mit Trompeten und Cymbeln und ließen Harfen und Zithern ertönen.

And all Israel [was] bringing up [the] ark of [the] covenant of Yahweh with a shout and with [the] sound of a ram's horn and with trumpets and with cymbals sounding aloud with lyres and harps.

29 Während nun die Lade mit dem Gesetze Jahwes bis zur Stadt Davids gelangt war, hatte Sauls Tochter Michal durch Fenster gesehen. Und als sie den König David hüpfen und tanzen sah, empfand sie Verachtung für ihn.

And it was [the] ark of [the] covenant of Yahweh [was] coming to [the] city of David and Michal [the] daughter of Saul she looked down - through the window and she saw the king David dancing and making merry and she despised him in heart her.
