1 Alléluia! Louez Dieu dans son Sanctuaire! Louez-le dans son glorieux firmament!

Praise Yahweh! Praise God in his sacred temple! And praise him in his fortress in heaven!

2 Louez-le pour ses hauts faits! Louez-le à proportion de sa grandeur!

Praise him for the mighty deeds that he has performed; praise him for his being extremely great!

3 Louez-le au son de la trompette! Louez-le avec le luth et la harpe!

Praise him by [blowing] trumpets loudly; praise him by [playing] harps and (small lyres/other instruments that have many strings)!

4 Louez-le avec les cymbales et en chœur! Louez-le au son des cordes et du chalumeau!

Praise him by [beating] drums and by dancing. Praise him by [playing] stringed instruments and by [playing] flutes!

5 Louez-le avec les cymbales sonores! Louez-le avec les cymbales bruyantes!

Praise him by [clashing] cymbals together; praise him by clashing [together very] loud cymbals!

6 Que tout ce qui respire loue l'Éternel! Alléluia!

I want all living creatures to praise Yahweh! Praise Yahweh!
