Marc 15
1 Et dès le matin, les grands prêtres ayant tenu conseil avec les anciens et les scribes, et le sanhédrin tout entier, après avoir enchaîné Jésus, l'emmenèrent et le livrèrent à Pilate.
And anone in ye dawnynge the hye prestes helde counsell wt ye elders and ye scribes and ye whoole cogregacion and bounde Iesus and ledde him awaye and delivered him to Pilate.
2 Et Pilate lui demanda: « Es-tu le roi des Juifs? » Et il lui répliqua: « C'est toi qui le dis. »
And Pilate axed him: arte thou the kynge of the Iewes? And he answered and sayde vnto him: thou sayest it.
3 Et les grands prêtres portaient contre lui de nombreuses accusations.
And the hye prestes accused him of many thinges.
4 Mais Pilate l'interrogeait de nouveau, en disant: « Est-ce que tu ne réponds pas? Vois de combien de choses ils t'accusent. »
Wherfore Pilate axed him agayne sayinge: Answerest thou nothinge? Beholde how many thinges they lay vnto thy charge.
5 Cependant Jésus ne répliqua plus rien, en sorte que Pilate était tout émerveillé.
Iesus yet answered never aworde so that Pilate merveled.
6 Or il leur accordait lors d'une fête l'élargissement d'un prisonnier, celui qu'ils demandaient;
At that feast Pilate was wont to delivre at their pleasure a presoner: whomsoever they wolde desyre.
7 or le nommé Barabbas se trouvait enchaîné avec les séditieux qui, dans la sédition, avaient commis un meurtre.
And ther was one named Barrabas which laye bounde with the that made insurreccion and in the insurreccion comitted murther.
8 Et la foule étant montée, commença à réclamer ce qu'il faisait ordinairement pour eux;
And ye people called vnto him and began to desyre accordinge as he had ever done vnto them.
9 et Pilate leur répliqua: « Voulez-vous que je vous élargisse le roi des Juifs? »
Pylate answered them and sayd: Will ye that I lowse vnto you the kynge of the Iewes?
10 Car il savait que c'était par jalousie qu'ils l'avaient livré.
For he knewe that the hye Prestes had delyvered him of envy.
11 Mais les grands prêtres soulevèrent la foule, afin qu'il leur élargît plutôt Barabbas.
But the hye prestes had moved the people that he shuld rather delyvre Barrabas vnto them.
12 Or Pilate prenant de nouveau la parole leur disait: « Que ferai-je donc, dites-moi, du roi des Juifs? »
And Pylate answered agayne and sayd vnto the: What will ye then that I do wt him whom ye call ye kynge of ye Iewes?
13 Et ils crièrent derechef: « Crucifie-le. »
And they cryed agayne: crucifie him.
14 Mais Pilate leur disait: « Eh! quel mal a-t-il fait? » Mais eux crièrent de plus belle: « Crucifie-le. »
Pylate sayde vnto them: What evell hath he done? And they cryed ye moore fervently: crucifie him.
15 Or Pilate, voulant satisfaire la foule, leur, accorda l'élargissement de Barabbas, et livra Jésus après l'avoir fait flageller, afin qu'il fût crucifié.
And so Pylate willinge to content the people lowsed them Barrabas and delyvered Iesus when he had scourged him for to be crucified.
16 Cependant les soldats l'emmenèrent dans l'intérieur de la cour (c'est le prétoire), et ils convoquent toute la cohorte.
And the souddeers ledde him awaye into ye commen hall and called togedder the whoole multitude
17 Et ils le revêtent de pourpre; et ils le ceignent, après l'avoir tressée, d'une couronne d'épines;
and they clothed him with purple and they platted a croune of thornes and crouned him with all
18 et ils se mirent à le saluer: « Salut, roi des Juifs; »
and beganne to salute him. Hayle kynge of the Iewes.
19 et ils lui frappaient la tête avec un roseau, et ils crachaient sur lui, et se mettant à genoux ils l'adoraient.
And they smoote him on the heed wt a rede and spat apon him and kneled doune and worsheped him.
20 Et lorsqu'ils l'eurent bafoué, ils le dépouillèrent de la pourpre et le revêtirent de ses vêtements.
And when they had moocked him they toke the purple of him and put his awne cloothes on him and ledde him oute to crucifie him.
21 Et ils l'emmenèrent pour le crucifier; et ils mettent en réquisition, comme il passait, un certain Simon de Cyrène qui revenait des champs (le père d'Alexandre et de Rufus), afin qu'il portât sa croix,
And they compelled one that passed by called Symon of Cyrene (which cam oute of the felde and was father of Alexander and Rufus) to beare his crosse.
22 Et ils le conduisent à l'endroit de Golgotha (qui signifie, étant traduit, endroit du crâne).
And they brought him to a place named Golgotha (which is by interpretacion the place of deed mens scoulles)
23 Et ils lui donnaient du vin parfumé, mais lui ne le prit pas.
and they gave him to drinke wyne myngled with myrte but he receaved it not.
24 Et ils le crucifient, et ils partagent ses vêtements, en les tirant au sort pour savoir ce que chacun prendrait.
And when they had crucified him they parted his garmentes castinge loottes for them what every man shulde have.
25 Or c'était la troisième heure, et ils le crucifièrent;
And it was aboute ye thyrde houre and they crucified him.
26 et l'inscription de sa sentence portait les mots: Le roi des Juifs.
And the tytle of his cause was wrytten: The kynge of the Iewes.
27 Et avec lui ils crucifièrent deux brigands, un à sa droite et un à sa gauche. [
And they crucified with him two theves: the one on the ryght honde and the other on his lyfte.
28 Et ce passage de l'Écriture a été accompli, qui dit: « Et il a été compté parmi les criminels » ]
And the scripture was fulfilled which sayeth: he was counted amonge the wicked.
29 Et les passants l'injuriaient, en branlant la tête et en disant: « Ohé! toi qui détruis le temple et qui le rebâtis en trois jours,
And they that went by rayled on him: waggynge their heedes and sayinge: A wretche that destroyest the temple and byldest it in thre dayes:
30 sauve-toi toi-même en descendant de la croix! »
save thy sylfe and come doune from the crosse.
31 De même aussi les grands prêtres, le bafouant entre eux avec les scribes, disaient: « Il en a sauvé d'autres, il ne peut se sauver lui-même!
Lyke wyse also mocked him ye hye preestes amonge them selves with the scribes and sayde: He saved other men him sylfe he cannot save.
32 Que le Christ, le roi d'Israël, descende maintenant de la croix, afin que nous voyions et que nous croyions! » Et ceux qui étaient crucifiés avec lui l'insultaient.
Let Christ the kynge of Israel now descende from the crosse that we maye se and beleve. And they that were crucified with him checked him also.
33 Et quand la sixième heure fut venue, des ténèbres survinrent sur la terre entière jusques à la neuvième heure.
And when the sixte houre was come darknes aroose over all the erth vntyll ye nynthe houre.
34 Et à la neuvième heure, Jésus s'écria en jetant un grand cri: « Eloi! Eloi! Lama sabaphthani? » ce qui signifie, étant traduit: « Mon Dieu, pourquoi m'as-Tu abandonné? »
And at the nynthe houre Iesus cryed with a loude voyce sayinge: Eloi Eloi lamaasbathani which is yf it be interpreted: my God my God why hast thou forsaken me?
35 Et quelques-uns des assistants l'ayant entendu, disaient: « Voyez, il appelle Élie. »
And some of them that stode by when they hearde yt sayde: beholde he calleth for Helyas
36 Mais quelqu'un étant accouru, et ayant rempli une éponge de vinaigre et l'ayant fixée à un roseau, lui donnait à boire, en disant: « Laissez, voyons si Élie vient le descendre. »
And one ran and filled a sponge full of veneger and put it on a rede and gave him to drinke sayinge: let him alone let vs se whether Helyas will come and take him doune.
37 Mais Jésus ayant poussé un grand cri expira.
But Iesus cryed with aloude voyce and gave vp the gooste.
38 Et le rideau du sanctuaire se déchira en deux du haut en bas.
And the vayle of the temple dyd rent in two peces from the toppe to the boottome.
39 Mais le centurion, qui se tenait en face de lui, ayant vu qu'il avait expiré de la sorte, dit: « Vraiment cet homme était fils de Dieu. »
And when the Centurion which stode before him sawe that he so cryed and gave vp the gooste he sayd: truly this man was the sonne of God.
40 Or il y avait aussi des femmes qui regardaient de loin, parmi lesquelles aussi Marie la Magdalène, et Marie mère de Jacques le petit, et la mère de Josès, et Salomé,
Ther were also wemen a good waye of beholdinge him: amonge whom was Mary Magdalen and Mary the mother of Iames the lytle and of Ioses and Mary Salome
41 lesquelles, lorsqu'il était en Galilée, le suivaient et le servaient, et beaucoup d'autres qui étaient montées avec lui à Jérusalem.
which also when he was in Galile folowed him and ministred vnto him and many other wemen which came vp with him to Hierusalem.
42 Et comme le soir était déjà venu (parce que c'était la préparation, c'est-à-dire l'avant-sabbat),
And now when nyght was come (because it was ye even that goeth before ye saboth)
43 arriva Joseph d'Arimathée, sénateur de distinction, qui lui aussi attendait le royaume de Dieu, et il s'introduisit hardiment auprès de Pilate, et réclama le corps de Jésus.
Ioseph of Arimathia a noble councelour which also loked for ye kyngdome of God came and went in booldly vnto Pylate and begged ye boddy of Iesu.
44 Mais Pilate s'étonna qu'il fût déjà mort, et ayant fait appeler le centurion, il lui demanda si déjà il était mort;
And Pylate merveled that he was alredy deed and called vnto him ye Centurion and axed of him whether he had bene eny whyle deed.
45 et l'ayant appris du centurion, il fit don du cadavre à Joseph.
And when he knewe the trueth of the Centurion he gave ye body to Ioseph.
46 Et ayant acheté un linceul, il l'enveloppa dans le linceul après l'avoir descendu, et il le déposa dans un sépulcre, qui avait été taillé dans le roc, et il roula une pierre contre l'entrée du sépulcre.
And he bought a lynnen cloothe and toke him doune and wrapped him in ye lynnen cloothe and layde him in a tombe yt was hewen oute of ye rocke and rolled a stone vnto the doze of the sepulcre.
47 Or Marie la Magdalène et Marie mère de Josès regardaient où on le mettait.
And Mary Magdalen and Mary Ioses beheld where he was layde.
