Marc 10
1 Et s'étant éloigné de là, il vient dans le territoire de la Judée et au delà du Jourdain, et une foule accourt de nouveau vers lui, et selon sa coutume il les enseignait de nouveau.
And he rose from thence and went into ye coostes of Iurie through the region yt is beyonde Iordan. And ye people resorted vnto him afresshe: and as he was wont he taught them agayne.
2 Et des pharisiens s'étant approchés lui demandaient: « Est-il permis à un homme de répudier sa femme? » voulant ainsi le mettre à l'épreuve.
And the pharises came and axed him a question: whether it were laufull for a ma to put awaye his wyfe: to prove him.
3 Mais il leur répliqua: « Que vous a prescrit Moïse? »
And he answered and sayd vnto the: what dyd Moses byd you do?
4 Et ils lui dirent: « Moïse a permis de rédiger un acte de divorce, et de répudier. »
And they sayde: Moses suffred to wryte a testimoniall of devorsement and to put hyr awaye.
5 Mais Jésus leur dit: « C'est à cause de votre dureté de cœur qu'il vous a donné ce commandement;
And Iesus answered and sayd vnto the: For ye hardnes of youre hertes he wrote this precept vnto you.
6 mais à l'origine de la création Il les fit mâle et femelle;
But at the fyrste creacion God made the man and woman.
7 à cause de cela l'homme quittera son père et sa mère,
And for this thinges sake shall ma leve his father and mother and bide by his wyfe
8 et les deux deviendront une seule chair; en sorte qu'ils ne sont plus deux, mais une seule chair.
and they twayne shalbe one flesshe. So then are they now not twayne but one flesshe.
9 Ainsi donc que ce que Dieu a conjoint, l'homme ne le sépare pas. »
Therfore what God hath cuppled let not ma separat.
10 Et de retour à la maison les disciples l'interrogeaient sur ce sujet;
And in the housse his disciples axed him agayne of yt matter.
11 et il leur dit: « Celui qui aura répudié sa femme, et en aura épousé une autre, est coupable d'adultère envers elle;
And he sayde vnto them: Whosoever putteth awaye his wyfe and maryeth another breaketh wedlocke to her warde.
12 et si elle-même, après avoir répudié son mari, en épouse un autre, elle commet un adultère. »
And yf a woman forsake her husband and be maryed to another she comitteth advoutrie.
13 Et on lui amenait de petits enfants afin qu'ils les touchât; mais les disciples leur en firent des remontrances.
And they brought chyldren to him that he should touche the. And his disciples rebuked thoose that brought the.
14 Or Jésus l'ayant vu en fut indigné, et leur dit: « Laissez les petits enfants venir à moi; ne les en empêchez pas, car c'est à ceux qui leur ressemblent qu'appartient le royaume de Dieu;
When Iesus sawe that he was displeased and sayd to the: Suffre the chyldre to come vnto me and forbid the not. For of suche is ye kyngdome of God.
15 en vérité je vous le déclare, celui qui n'aura pas reçu le royaume de Dieu comme un petit enfant n'y entrera certainement point. »
Verely I saye vnto you whosoever shall not receave ye kyngdome of God as a chylde he shall not entre therin.
16 Et, les ayant serrés dans ses bras, il les bénit en posant les mains sur eux.
And he toke the vp in his armes and put his hondes vpon them and blessed the.
17 Et au moment où il se remettait en chemin, quelqu'un accourut, et se jetant à ses genoux il lui demandait: « Bon maître, que ferai-je pour hériter la vie éternelle? » (aiōnios g166)
And when he was come in to the waye ther came one runninge and kneled to him and axed him: good master what shall I do that I maye enheret eternall lyfe? (aiōnios g166)
18 Mais Jésus lui dit: « Pourquoi m'appelles-tu bon? Nul n'est bon, si ce n'est un seul, Dieu.
Iesus sayde to him: why callest thou me good? There is no ma good but one which is God.
19 Tu connais les commandements: Ne tue point; ne commets point d'adultère; ne dérobe point; ne fais point de faux témoignage; honore ton père et ta mère. »
Thou knowest the comaundementes: breake not matrimony: kyll not: steale not: bere not falce wytnes: defraude no man: honoure thy father and mother.
20 Et l'autre lui dit: « Maître, j'ai observé toutes ces choses dès ma jeunesse. »
He answered and sayde to him: master all these I have observed fro my youth.
21 Or Jésus l'ayant regardé l'aima, et lui dit; « Une seule chose te manque: va, vends tout ce que tu possèdes, et donne-le aux pauvres, et tu auras un trésor dans le ciel, puis viens, suis-moi. »
Iesus behelde him and had a favour to him and sayde vnto him: one thynge is lackinge vnto the. Goo and sell all that thou hast and geve to the povre and thou shalt have treasure in heven and come and folowe me and take vp thy crosse.
22 Mais-lui, chagriné de cette parole, s'en alla tout triste, car il avait de nombreuses propriétés.
But he was discuforted with yt sayinge and wet awaye morninge for he had greate possessions.
23 Et Jésus, ayant porté autour de lui ses regards, dit à ses disciples: « Avec quelle difficulté ceux qui possèdent les richesses entreront-ils dans le royaume de Dieu! »
And Iesus loked rounde aboute and sayde vnto his disciples: what an harde thinge is it for them that have riches to entre into the kyngdome of God.
24 Mais les disciples étaient terrifiés de son langage; sur quoi Jésus, prenant derechef la parole leur dit: « Mes enfants, qu'il est difficile d'entrer dans le royaume de Dieu!
And his disciples were astonneyd at his wordes. But Iesus answered agayne and sayde vnto them: chyldre how harde is it for them that trust in riches to entre in to the kyngdome of God.
25 Il est plus facile qu'un chameau entre par le trou de l'aiguille, qu'un riche n'entre dans le royaume de Dieu. »
It is easyer for a camell to go thorowe ye eye of an nedle then for a riche man to entre into the kyngdome of God.
26 Mais ils étaient encore plus stupéfaits, et ils lui disaient: « Et qui peut être sauvé? »
And they were astonnyed out of measure sayinge betwene them selves: who then can be saved?
27 Jésus, ayant fixé sur eux ses regards, leur dit: « Quant aux hommes, cela est impossible, mais non quant à Dieu; car tout est possible quant à Dieu. »
Iesus loked vpon them and sayde: with men it is vnpossible but not with God: for with God all thynges are possible.
28 Pierre se mit à lui dire: « Voici, pour nous, nous avons tout abandonné, et nous t'avons suivi. »
And Peter begane to saye vnto him: Lo we have forsaken all and have folowed the.
29 Jésus lui dit: « En vérité je vous le déclare, il n'est personne qui, ayant abandonné maison, ou frères, ou sœurs, ou mère, ou père, ou enfants, ou champs, à cause de moi et de l'évangile,
Iesus answered and sayde: Verely I saye vnto you ther is no man that forsaketh housse or brethren or sisters or father or mother or wyfe other chyldren or londes for my sake and the gospelles
31 Mais plusieurs seront des premiers, quoique des derniers, et les derniers, quoique des premiers. »
Many that are fyrst shalbe last: and the last fyrst.
32 Or ils étaient en chemin pour monter à Jérusalem, et Jésus les précédait, et ils étaient terrifiés; mais il y en eut qui le suivaient avec effroi. Et ayant derechef pris à lui les douze, il se mit à leur annoncer ce qui allait lui arriver:
And they were in ye waye goinge vp to Ierusalem. And Iesus wet before them: and they were amased and as they folowed were affrayde. And Iesus toke ye. xii. agayne and begane to tell the what thinges shuld happe vnto him.
33 « Voici, nous montons à Jérusalem, et le fils de l'homme sera livré aux grands prêtres et aux scribes, et ils le condamneront à mort, et ils le livreront aux Gentils,
Beholde we goo vp to Ierusalem and the sonne of man shalbe delyvered vnto the hye preestes and vnto the Scribes: and they shall condempne him to deeth and shall delyvre him to the gentyls:
34 et ils le bafoueront, et ils cracheront sur lui, et ils le fustigeront, et ils le mettront à mort, et au bout de trois jours il ressuscitera. »
and they shall mocke hym and scourge him and spit vpo hym and kyll him. And the thirde daye he shall ryse agayne.
35 Et Jacques et Jean, les deux fils de Zébédée, s'approchent de lui, en lui disant: « Maître, nous désirons que tu fasses pour nous tout ce que nous te demanderons. »
And then Iames and Iohn ye sonnes of zebede came vnto him sayinge: master we wolde that thou shuldest do for vs what soever we desyre.
36 Et il leur dit: « Que désirez-vous que je fasse pour vous? »
He sayde vnto them: what wolde ye I shuld do vnto you?
37 Et ils lui dirent: « Accorde-nous d'être assis l'un à ta droite et l'autre à ta gauche dans ta gloire. »
They sayd to him: graut vnto vs that we maye sitte one on thy right honde and the other on thy lyfte honde in thy glory.
38 Mais Jésus leur dit: « Vous ne savez ce que vous demandez. Pouvez-vous boire la coupe que moi je dois boire, ou être baptisés du baptême dont moi je dois être baptisé? »
But Iesus sayd vnto the: Ye wot not what ye axe. Can ye dryncke of the cup that I shall dryncke of and be baptised in ye baptime that I shalbe baptised in?
39 Et ils lui dirent: « Nous le pouvons. » Mais Jésus leur dit: « Vous boirez la coupe que moi je dois boire, et vous serez baptisés du baptême dont moi je dois être baptisé;
And they sayde vnto him: that we can. Iesus sayde vnto them: ye shall dryncke of the cup that I shall dryncke of and be baptised with the baptyme that I shalbe baptised in:
40 mais pour ce qui est d'être assis à ma droite ou à ma gauche, il ne dépend pas de moi de l'accorder, sauf à ceux pour-lesquels cela a été préparé. »
but to sit on my right honde and on my lyfte honde ys not myne to geve but to them for whom it is prepared.
41 Ce que les dix ayant entendu, ils commencèrent à s'indigner contre Jacques et Jean;
And when the. x. hearde that they bega to disdayne at Iames and Iohn.
42 et Jésus les ayant appelés à lui leur dit: « Vous savez que ceux qui s'imaginent commander aux peuples les tyrannisent, et que leurs grands les oppriment;
But Iesus called the vnto him and sayde to them: ye knowe that they which seme to beare rule amonge the gentyls raygne as lordes over the. And they that be greate amoge them exercyse auctorite over them.
43 mais il n'en est pas de même parmi vous; au contraire, celui qui voudra devenir grand parmi vous sera votre serviteur,
So shall it not be amonge you but whosoever of you wilbe greate amoge you shalbe youre minister.
44 et celui qui voudra être le premier parmi vous sera l'esclave de tous.
And whosoever wilbe chefe shalbe servaunt vnto all.
45 En effet le fils de l'homme non plus n'est pas venu pour être servi, mais pour servir et pour donner sa vie comme une rançon pour plusieurs. »
For eve the sonne of man came not to be ministred vnto: but to minister and to geve his lyfe for the redempcion of many.
46 Et ils arrivent à Jéricho, et comme il sortait de Jéricho avec ses disciples et une foule considérable, le fils de Timée, Bartimée, mendiant aveugle, se trouvait assis sur le bord du chemin.
And they came to Hierico. And as he went oute of Hierico with his disciples and a greate nobre of people: Barthimeus ye sonne of Thimeus which was blinde sate by ye hye wayes syde begginge.
47 Et ayant ouï que c'était Jésus le Nazarénien, il se mit à s'écrier: « Fils de David, Jésus, aie pitié de moi! »
And when he hearde that it was Iesus of Nazareth he began to crye and to saye: Iesus the sonne of David have mercy on me.
48 Et plusieurs lui faisaient des remontrances, afin de le faire taire, mais il criait beaucoup plus fort: « Fils de David, aie pitié de moi! »
And many rebuked him yt he shuld holde is peace. But he cryed the moore a greate deale thou sonne of David have mercy on me.
49 Et Jésus s'étant arrêté, dit: « Appelez-le. » Et ils appellent l'aveugle, en lui disant: « Prends courage, lève-toi, il t'appelle. »
And Iesus stode still and commaunded hym to be called. And they called the blinde sayinge vnto him: Be of good conforte: ryse he calleth the.
50 Et lui, ayant jeté son manteau, vint en sautant auprès de Jésus.
And he threwe awaye his clooke and roose and came to Iesus.
51 Et Jésus prenant la parole lui dit: « Que veux-tu que je fasse pour toi? » Et l'aveugle lui dit: « Rabbouni, que je recouvre la vue? »
And Iesus answered and sayde vnto hym: what wilt thou that I do vnto the? The blynde sayde vnto hym: master that I myght see.
52 Et Jésus lui dit: « Va, ta foi t'a guéri. »
Iesus sayde vnto him: goo thy waye thy faith hath saved the. And by and by he receaved his sight and folowed Iesus in the waye.
