Lévitique 15

1 Le Seigneur parla à Moïse et à Aaron, disant:

And the Lord said to Moses and to Aaron,

2 Parlez aux fils d'Israël, dites-leur: S'il survient à un homme un écoulement du corps, cet écoulement est impur.

Say to the children of Israel: If a man has an unclean flow from his flesh, it will make him unclean.

3 Voici la règle de son impureté: S'il s'écoule de son corps de cette semence par laquelle son corps a été formé, il y a impureté en lui. Tous les jours durant lesquels s'écoule de son corps ce liquide dont son corps a été formé, son impureté subsiste.

If the flow goes on or if the part is stopped up, to keep back the flow, he is still unclean.

4 Tout lit sur lequel aura dormi l'homme atteint de la gonorrhée est impur; tout siège ou il se sera assis est impur.

Every bed on which he has been resting will be unclean, and everything on which he has been seated will be unclean.

5 L'homme qui aura touché sa couche lavera ses vêtements, se lavera lui-même avec de l'eau, et sera impur jusqu'au soir.

And anyone touching his bed is to have his clothing washed and his body bathed in water and be unclean till evening.

6 Celui qui se sera assis sur le siège où s'est assis l'homme atteint de la gonorrhée, lavera ses vêtements, se lavera lui-même avec de l'eau, et sera impur jusqu'au soir.

And he who has been seated on anything on which the unclean man has been seated is to have his clothing washed and his body bathed in water and be unclean till evening.

7 Celui qui aura touché la chair de l'homme atteint de la gonorrhée, lavera ses vêtements, se lavera lui-même avec de l'eau, et sera impur jusqu'au soir.

And anyone touching the flesh of the unclean man is to have his clothing washed and his body bathed in water and be unclean till evening.

8 Si l'homme atteint de la gonorrhée a craché sur un autre homme, celui-ci lavera ses vêtements, se lavera lui-même avec de l'eau, et sera impur jusqu'au soir.

And if liquid from the mouth of the unclean man comes on to him who is clean, then he is to have his clothing washed and his body bathed in water and be unclean till evening.

9 Toute garniture du bât de l'âne sur lequel sera monté l'homme atteint de la gonorrhée, sera impure jusqu'au soir.

And any leather seat on a horse on which the unclean man has been seated will be unclean.

10 Quiconque touchera quoi que ce soit de ce qui aura été alors sous lui, sera impur jusqu'au soir; celui qui enlèvera les harnais lavera ses vêtements, se lavera lui-même avec de l'eau, et sera impur jusqu'au soir.

And anyone touching anything which was under him will be unclean till the evening; anyone taking up any of these things is to have his clothing washed and his body bathed in water and be unclean till evening.

11 Celui qui aura seulement touché l'homme atteint de la gonorrhée, et ne se sera pas lavé les mains, lavera ses vêtements, se lavera les mains avec de l'eau, et sera impur jusqu'au soir.

And anyone on whom the unclean man puts his hands, without washing them in water, is to have his clothing washed and his body bathed in water and be unclean till evening.

12 Le vase de terre qu'aura touché l'homme atteint de la gonorrhée sera brisé; le vase de bois sera lavé avec de l'eau et redeviendra pur.

And any vessel of earth which has been touched by the unclean man will have to be broken and any vessel of wood washed.

13 Si l'homme atteint de la gonorrhée est purifié de son écoulement, il comptera lui-même pour sa purification sept jours, après lesquels il lavera ses vêtements et son corps avec de l'eau, et il sera pur.

And when a man who has a flow from his body is made clean from it, he is to take seven days to make himself clean, washing his clothing and bathing his body in flowing water, and then he will be clean.

14 Le même jour, il prendra deux tourterelles ou deux petits de colombes, et il les portera, en présence du Seigneur, devant la porte du tabernacle du témoignage; il les donnera au prêtre.

And on the eighth day he is to take two doves or two young pigeons and come before the Lord to the door of the Tent of meeting and give them to the priest:

15 Et le prêtre les sacrifiera l'un pour le péché, l'autre pour l'holocauste; le prêtre priera pour l'homme devant le Seigneur, pour l'expiation de son écoulement.

And they are to be offered by the priest, one for a sin-offering and one for a burned offering, and the priest will take away his sin before the Lord on account of his flow.

16 L'homme qui aura eu une pollution nocturne se lavera tout le corps avec de l'eau, et sera impur jusqu'au soir.

And if a man's seed goes out from him, then all his body will have to be bathed in water and he will be unclean till evening.

17 Le vêtement ou la peau, tachés par la pollution, seront lavés avec de l'eau, et seront impurs jusqu'au soir.

And any clothing or skin on which the seed comes is to be washed with water and be unclean till evening.

18 Si une femme est couchée avec un homme et qu'il l'ait polluée, ils se laveront tous les deux avec de l'eau, et seront impurs jusqu'au soir.

And if a man has sex relations with a woman and his seed goes out from him, the two of them will have to be bathed in water and will be unclean till evening.

19 La femme qui perd du sang et a un écoulement de son corps, restera sept jours dans son flux menstruel; quiconque la touchera sera impur jusqu'au soir.

And if a woman has a flow of blood from her body, she will have to be kept separate for seven days, and anyone touching her will be unclean till evening.

20 Toute chose sur laquelle elle se sera couchée pendant ses menstrues, toute chose sur laquelle elle se sera assise sera impure.

And everything on which she has been resting, while she is kept separate, will be unclean, and everything on which she has been seated will be unclean.

21 Quiconque touchera sa couche lavera ses vêtements, se lavera le corps avec de l'eau, et sera impur jusqu'au soir.

And anyone touching her bed will have to have his clothing washed and his body bathed in water and be unclean till evening.

22 Quiconque aura touché un meuble sur lequel elle se sera assise, lavera ses vêtements, se lavera lui-même avec de l'eau, et sera impur jusqu'au soir.

And anyone touching anything on which she has been seated will have to have his clothing washed and his body bathed in water and be unclean till evening.

23 Celui qui la touchera, qu'elle soit au lit ou assise sur un meuble, sera impur jusqu'au soir.

Anyone touching anything on the bed or on the thing on which she has been seated, will be unclean till evening.

24 Si quelqu'un couche avec elle, l'impureté qu'elle a passera sur lui, il sera impur sept jours; la couche sur laquelle il aura dormi avec elle sera impure.

And if any man has sex relations with her so that her blood comes on him, he will be unclean for seven days and every bed on which he has been resting will be unclean.

25 Si une femme perd du sang plusieurs jours, hors de l'époque menstruelle, et si après cette époque l'écoulement continue, elle sera impure tant que durera cet écoulement impur, comme pendant son flux menstruel.

And if a woman has a flow of blood for a long time, not at the time when she generally has it, or if the flow goes on longer than the normal time, she will be unclean while the flow of blood goes on, as she is at other normal times.

26 Et toute couche sur laquelle elle aura dormi, pendant cet écoulement, sera comme sa couche lors de son flux menstruel, et tout meuble sur lequel elle se sera assise aura la même impureté que pendant son flux menstruel.

Every bed on which she has been resting will be unclean, as at the times when she normally has a flow of blood, and everything on which she has been seated will be unclean, in the same way.

27 Quiconque l'aura touchée sera impur; il lavera ses vêtements et son corps avec de l'eau, et il sera impur jusqu'au soir.

And anyone touching these things will be unclean, and his clothing will have to be washed and his body bathed in water and he will be unclean till evening.

28 Mais si elle redevient pure de son écoulement, il lui sera encore compté sept jours, au bout desquels elle sera déclarée pure.

But when her flow of blood is stopped, after seven days she will be clean.

29 Et le huitième jour, elle prendra deux tourterelles ou deux petits de colombes qu'elle portera au prêtre devant la porte du tabernacle du témoignage.

And on the eighth day let her get two doves or two young pigeons and take them to the priest to the door of the Tent of meeting,

30 Le prêtre les sacrifiera, l'un pour le péché, l'autre pour l'holocauste, et le prêtre priera pour elle devant le Seigneur, en expiation de son flux impur.

To be offered by the priest, one for a sin-offering and one for a burned offering; and the priest will take away her sin before the Lord on account of her unclean condition.

31 Ainsi vous apprendrez aux fils d'Israël à se garder de leurs impuretés, et ils ne mourront pas à cause de leurs impuretés, pour avoir souillé par elles mon tabernacle.

In this way may the children of Israel be made free from all sorts of unclean conditions, so that death may not overtake them when they are unclean and when they make unclean my holy place which is among them.

32 Telle est la loi de l'homme atteint de la gonorrhée, de celui a qui survient une pollution qui le rend impur,

This is the law for the man who has a flow from his body, or whose seed goes from him so that he is unclean;

33 De la femme qui perd le sang du flux menstruel, et de l'homme atteint de la gonorrhée ou d'un écoulement; c'est une loi pour l'homme et la femme, et pour l'homme qui aurait commercé avec une femme pendant ses menstrues.

And for her who has a flow of blood, and for any man or woman who has an unclean flow, and for him who has sex relations with a woman when she is unclean.
