Hebrews 1

1 In many parts, and many ways, God of old having spoken to the fathers in the prophets,

Dios, que habló muchas veces, y en muchas maneras en otro tiempo a los padres por los profetas,

2 in these last days did speak to us in a Son, whom He appointed heir of all things, through whom also He did make the ages; (aiōn g165)

Nos ha hablado en estos postreros días por su Hijo, a quien constituyó heredero de todas las cosas, por quien asimismo hizo los siglos; (aiōn g165)

3 who being the brightness of the glory, and the impress of His subsistence, bearing up also the all things by the saying of his might — through himself having made a cleansing of our sins, sat down at the right hand of the greatness in the highest,

El cual siendo el resplandor de su gloria, y la imagen expresa de su sustancia, y sustentando todas las cosas con la palabra de su poder, habiendo hecho la purgación de nuestros pecados por sí mismo, se asentó a la diestra de la majestad en las alturas;

4 having become so much better than the messengers, as he did inherit a more excellent name than they.

Siendo hecho tanto más excelente que los ángeles, cuanto alcanzó por herencia más excelente nombre que ellos.

5 For to which of the messengers said He ever, 'My Son thou art — I to-day have begotten thee?' and again, 'I will be to him for a father, and he shall be to Me for a son?'

¿Porque a cuál de los ángeles dijo Dios jamás: Mi Hijo eres tú, yo te he engendrado hoy? Y otra vez: Yo seré a él Padre, y él me será a mí Hijo?

6 and when again He may bring in the first-born to the world, He saith, 'And let them bow before him — all messengers of God;'

Y otra vez, cuando introduce al primogénito en la redondez de la tierra, dice: Y adórenle todos los ángeles de Dios.

7 and unto the messengers, indeed, He saith, 'Who is making His messengers spirits, and His ministers a flame of fire;'

Y ciertamente con respecto a los ángeles dice: El que hace sus ángeles espíritus, y a sus ministros, llama de fuego.

8 and unto the Son: 'Thy throne, O God, [is] to the age of the age; a sceptre of righteousness [is] the sceptre of thy reign; (aiōn g165)

Mas al Hijo: Tu trono, oh Dios, por los siglos de los siglos: cetro de rectitud el cetro de tu reino. (aiōn g165)

9 thou didst love righteousness, and didst hate lawlessness; because of this did He anoint thee — God, thy God — with oil of gladness above thy partners;'

Amaste la justicia, y aborreciste la maldad; por esto Dios, tu Dios, te ungió, con el aceite de alegría más que a tus compañeros.

10 and, 'Thou, at the beginning, Lord, the earth didst found, and a work of thy hands are the heavens;

Y: Tú, Señor, en el principio fundaste la tierra; y los cielos son obras de tus manos:

11 these shall perish, and Thou dost remain, and all, as a garment, shall become old,

Ellos perecerán, mas tú eres permanente; y todos ellos envejecerse han como vestidura;

12 and as a mantle Thou shall roll them together, and they shall be changed, and Thou art the same, and Thy years shall not fail.'

Y como un manto los envolverás, y serán mudados: tú empero eres el mismo, y tus años nunca se acabarán.

13 And unto which of the messengers said He ever, 'Sit at My right hand, till I may make thine enemies thy footstool?'

Además, ¿a cuál de los ángeles dijo él jamás: Asiéntate a mi diestra, hasta que ponga a tus enemigos por estrado de tus pies?

14 are they not all spirits of service — for ministration being sent forth because of those about to inherit salvation?

¿No son todos espíritus ministradores, enviados para ministrar por aquellos, que serán herederos de salud?
