Luke 22
1 Now the feast of unleavened bread drew nigh, which is called the passover.
Es nahte aber das Fest der ungesäuerten Brote, genannt das Pascha.
2 And the chief priests and scribes were consulting how they might put Him to death; for they were afraid of the people.
Und die Hohenpriester und die Schriftgelehrten trachteten danach, wie sie Ihn umbrächten; denn sie fürchteten sich vor dem Volk.
3 Then entred Satan into Judas who was surnamed Iscariot, one of the twelve.
Es fuhr aber der Satan ein in Judas, der Iskariot hieß, der aus der Zahl der Zwölfe war.
4 And he went and conferred with the chief priests and the captains, how he might betray Him unto them.
Und er ging hin und unterredete sich mit den Hohenpriestern und den Hauptleuten, wie er Ihn ihnen überantworten wollte.
5 And they were glad and agreed to give him money:
Und sie freuten sich und kamen überein, ihm Silber zu geben.
6 and he accepted the terms, and sought an opportunity to betray Him unto them in the absence of the multitude.
Und er sagte zu und suchte eine gute Gelegenheit, Ihn ohne Gedränge zu überantworten.
7 The day of unleavened bread being come, on which the paschal-lamb was to be slain,
Es kam aber der Tag der ungesäuerten Brote, an dem das Pascha geschlachtet werden sollte.
8 Jesus sent Peter and John, saying, Go and prepare the passover for us, that we may eat of it.
Und Er sandte Petrus und Johannes und sprach: Ziehet hin, bereitet uns das Pascha, auf daß wir es essen.
9 And they said unto Him, Where wouldst thou have us prepare it?
Sie aber sagten zu Ihm: Wo willst Du, daß wir es bereiten?
10 And He said unto them, Behold, when ye are come into the city, there shall meet you a man, carrying a pitcher of water, follow him into the house where he entreth:
Er aber sagte zu ihnen: Siehe, wenn ihr in die Stadt hineinkommt, wird euch ein Mensch begegnen, der einen Krug mit Wasser trägt. Dem folgt nach in das Haus, da er hineingeht.
11 and say to the master of the house, Our Master inquireth by us, Where is the room, in which I may eat the passover with my disciples?
Und ihr sollt dem Hausherrn des Hauses sagen: Der Lehrer läßt dir sagen: Wo ist die Herberge, da Ich mit Meinen Jüngern das Pascha essen kann?
12 And he will shew you a large upper room set out; there make it ready.
Und er wird euch einen großen bepolsterten Obersaal zeigen. Dort bereitet es!
13 And they went and found as He had told them; and prepared the passover.
Sie aber gingen hin und fanden es, wie Er ihnen gesagt hatte, und bereiteten das Pascha.
14 And when the hour was come, He sat down and the twelve apostles with Him.
Und da die Stunde kam, ließ Er Sich nieder und mit Ihm die zwölf Apostel.
15 And He said unto them, I have earnestly desired to eat of this passover with you before I suffer:
Und Er sprach zu ihnen: Mit Verlangen habe Ich begehrt, dies Pascha mit euch zu essen, ehe denn Ich leide.
16 for I say unto you, that I will not eat of it any more, till it be accomplished in the kingdom of God.
Denn Ich sage euch, daß Ich nicht mehr davon essen werde, bis es erfüllt wird im Reiche Gottes.
17 And taking the cup He gave thanks and said, Take this and distribute it among yourselves.
Und Er empfing den Kelch, dankte und sprach: Nehmet dies und verteilet es unter euch.
18 For I tell you, that I will not drink again of the fruit of the vine, till the kingdom of God shall come.
Denn Ich sage euch, daß Ich von dem Gewächse des Weinstocks nicht mehr trinken werde, bis das Reich Gottes komme.
19 And He took bread, and gave thanks and brake it, and gave it to them, saying, This is my body which is given for you; do this in remembrance of me:
Und Er nahm Brot, dankte, brach es und gab es ihnen und sprach: Dies ist Mein Leib, der für euch gegeben wird, das tut zu Meinem Gedächtnisse.
20 as also the cup after supper, saying, This cup represents the new covenant in my blood, which is shed for you.
Desselbigen gleichen auch den Kelch, nach dem Abendmahl, und sprach: Dieser Kelch ist der neue Bund in Meinem Blute, das für euch vergossen wird.
21 And yet behold, the hand of him that betrayeth me is at table with me:
Doch siehe, die Hand dessen, der Mich verrät, ist mit Mir über Tisch.
22 and the Son of man is going indeed as was determined; but wo to that man by whom He is betrayed.
Und zwar geht des Menschen Sohn hin, wie es bestimmt ist; doch wehe demselbigen Menschen, durch den Er verraten wird.
23 And they began to enquire among themselves, which of them it was that should do it.
Sie aber fingen an, untereinander sich zu befragen, wer es wohl wäre unter ihnen, der solches tun würde?
24 And there was also a dispute among them, which of them should be accounted the greatest:
Es ward aber auch ein Wettstreit unter ihnen, welcher von ihnen für den Größten zu halten wäre.
25 but He said unto them, The kings of the Gentiles lord it over them, and those in authority are called benefactors.
Er aber sprach zu ihnen: Die Könige der Völkerschaften herrschen über sie, und die Gewalt haben über sie, heißen sie Wohltäter.
26 But ye shall not do so: but let the greatest among you be as the younger; and he that presides as he that serveth.
Ihr aber nicht also; sondern der Größte unter euch werde wie der Jüngste; und der Leiter wie der Diener.
27 For which is greater, he that sitteth at table, or he that serveth? is not he that sitteth at table? but I am among you as one that serveth.
Denn welcher ist der größere? der zu Tische liegt, oder der bedient? Ist es nicht der, so zu Tische liegt? Ich aber bin in eurer Mitte, wie einer, der dient.
28 Ye have continued with me in my temptations;
Ihr aber seid es, die in Meinen Versuchungen bei Mir geblieben seid.
29 and I appoint you a kingdom, as my Father hath appointed unto me:
Und so bescheide Ich euch das Reich, wie Mir es Mein Vater beschieden hat.
30 that ye may eat and drink at my table in my kingdom, and sit upon thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.
Daß ihr essen und trinken sollt an Meinem Tisch in Meinem Reich, und sitzen auf Thronen und richten die zwölf Stämme Israels.
31 And the Lord said, Simon, Simon, behold, Satan hath desired to have you my disciples, that he may sift you as wheat:
Der Herr aber sprach: Simon, Simon, siehe, der Satan hat sich auch ausgebeten, um euch zu sichten, wie den Weizen.
32 but I have prayed for thee, that thy faith may not fail; and when thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren.
Ich aber habe für dich gefleht, damit dein Glaube nicht zu Ende gehe; und wenn du dereinst dich bekehrst, so festige du deine Brüder.
33 And he said unto Him, Lord, I am ready to go with thee both to prison and to death.
Er aber sprach zu Ihm: Herr, ich bin bereit, mit Dir ins Gefängnis und in den Tod zu gehen.
34 But He replied, I tell thee, Peter, the cock shall not crow this day, before thou hast thrice denied that thou knowest me.
Er aber sprach: Ich sage dir, Petrus, der Hahn wird heute nicht krähen, ehe denn du dreimal verleugnet hast, daß du Mich kennst.
35 And He said unto them, When I sent you forth without purse, or bag, or shoes, did ye want any thing? and they said, Nothing.
Und Er sprach zu ihnen: Wenn Ich euch aussandte ohne Beutel und Tasche und Schuhe, hat euch je etwas gemangelt? Sie aber sprachen: Nichts.
36 Then said He unto them, But now let him, that hath a purse, take it, and his bag likewise; and let him that has no sword, sell his garment and buy one:
Da sprach Er zu ihnen: Nun aber, wer einen Beutel hat, der nehme ihn, desgleichen auch die Tasche. Und wer keine hat, der verkaufe sein Kleid und kaufe ein Schwert.
37 for I tell you, that this which is written must yet be accomplished in me, "And He was numbered with transgressors," for the things foretold concerning me are near at an end.
Denn Ich sage euch: Es muß auch das noch an Mir vollendet werden, das geschrieben steht: Und Er ist unter die Missetäter gerechnet! Denn das, was Mich angeht, hat ein Ende.
38 And they said, Lord, behold here are two swords. And He said unto them, It is enough.
Sie sprachen aber: Herr, siehe, hier sind zwei Schwerter. Er aber sprach zu ihnen: Es ist genug!
39 And He came out and went, as He used to do, to the mount of Olives; and his disciples also followed Him.
Und Er ging hinaus und nach Seiner Gewohnheit ging Er hin an den Ölberg; es folgten Ihm aber auch Seine Jünger nach.
40 And when He was at the place, He said unto them, Pray that ye enter not into temptation.
Als Er aber an den Ort kam, sprach Er zu ihnen: Betet, daß ihr nicht in Versuchung kommt.
41 And when He was withdrawn from them about a stone's-cast, He kneeled down and prayed saying,
Und Er riß Sich los von ihnen bei einem Steinwurf, fiel auf die Knie und betete.
42 Father, if thou art willing take away this cup from me---nevertheless, not my will but thine be done.
Und Er sprach: Vater, bist Du willens, so laß diesen Kelch an Mir vorübergehen! Doch nicht Mein Wille, sondern der Deinige geschehe!
43 And there appeared to Him an angel from heaven strengthening Him.
Es erschien Ihm aber ein Engel vom Himmel und stärkte Ihn.
44 And being in agony he prayed more earnestly: and his sweat was like clotted blood falling down upon the ground.
Und es geschah, daß Er mit dem Tode rang, und betete insbrünstiger. Sein Schweiß aber ward wie Blutstropfen, die zur Erde hinabfallen.
45 And when He rose up from prayer, He came to his disciples and found them sleeping for sorrow;
Und Er stand auf vom Gebet und kam zu Seinen Jüngern und fand sie schlummernd vor Betrübnis.
46 and He said to them, Why do ye sleep? rise and pray, that ye enter not into temptation.
Und Er sprach zu ihnen: Was schlummert ihr? Steht auf und betet, auf daß ihr nicht in Versuchung kommt.
47 And while He was yet speaking, behold a multitude; and he that was called Judas, one of the twelve apostles, came before them, and drew near unto Jesus to kiss Him:
Da Er aber noch redete, siehe, da kam ein Gedränge, und einer von den Zwölfen, Judas genannt, ging vor ihnen her und nahte sich Jesus, Ihn zu küssen.
48 and Jesus said to him, Judas, betrayest thou the Son of man with a kiss?
Jesus aber sprach zu ihm: Judas, verrätst du des Menschen Sohn mit einem Kuß?
49 But when they that were about Him saw what would follow, they said to Him, Lord, shall we smite with the sword?
Da aber die, so um Ihn waren, sahen, was da werden wollte, sprachen sie zu Ihm: Herr, sollen wir mit dem Schwert dreinschlagen?
50 And one of them smote the high priest's servant and cut off his right ear:
Und einer von ihnen schlug des Hohenpriesters Knecht und hieb ihm das rechte Ohr ab.
51 but Jesus said, Suffer ye thus far; and He touched his ear and healed him.
Jesus aber antwortete und sprach: Lasset es so weit sein! Und Er berührte sein Ohr und heilte ihn.
52 Then said Jesus to the chief priests, and officers of the temple, and elders, that were come to Him, Are ye come out as against a robber with swords and clubs?
Jesus aber sprach zu den Hohenpriestern und den Hauptleuten des Heiligtums und den Ältesten, die über Ihn hergekommen waren: Wie gegen einen Räuber seid ihr mit Schwertern und Knitteln ausgezogen.
53 When I was day after day with you in the temple, ye did not stretch out your hands against me: but this is your hour, and the power of darkness.
Täglich war Ich bei euch im Heiligtum, und ihr habt keine Hand gegen Mich ausgereckt. Aber dies ist eure Stunde und die Gewalt der Finsternis.
54 Then they took Him and led Him away, and brought Him to the high priest's. And Peter followed at a distance.
Sie nahmen Ihn aber und führten Ihn und brachten Ihn in das Haus des Hohenpriesters hinein. Petrus aber folgte nach von weitem.
55 And when they had kindled a fire in the midst of the hall, and sat down together, Peter also sat down among them:
Sie hatten aber mitten im Hof ein Feuer angezündet, und setzten sich zusammen, und Petrus setzte sich in ihre Mitte.
56 and a servant-maid seeing him as he sat by the fire, and looking hard at him, said, This fellow was also with Him:
Als ihn aber eine Magd beim Lichte sitzen sah, sah sie ihn fest an und sprach: Dieser war auch mit Ihm!
57 But he denied Him, saying, Woman, I do not know Him.
Er aber verleugnete Ihn und sprach: Weib, ich kenne Ihn nicht.
58 And after a little while another person seeing him said, And thou art one of them: but Peter said, Man, I am not.
Und nach einer Weile sah ihn ein anderer und sagte: Auch du bist einer von ihnen! Petrus aber sprach: Mensch, ich bin es nicht.
59 And about an hour after, another confidently affirmed saying, In truth this fellow also was with Him; for he is a Galilean too: but Peter answered,
Und nach Verlauf von etwa einer Stunde bekräftigte es ein anderer und sprach: Wahrhaftig, der da ist auch mit Ihm gewesen; denn er ist ja auch ein Galiläer.
60 Man, I know not what thou sayst. And immediately, while he was yet speaking, the cock crew.
Petrus aber sprach: Mensch, ich weiß nicht, was du sagst. Und sogleich, da er noch redete, krähte der Hahn.
61 And the Lord turned and looked upon Peter; and Peter called to mind the word of the Lord, how He had said to him, Before the cock crow thou wilt deny me thrice.
Und der Herr wandte Sich und blickte Petrus an, und Petrus gedachte an das Wort des Herrn, als Er zu ihm gesprochen: Ehe der Hahn kräht, wirst du Mich dreimal verleugnen.
62 And Peter went out and wept bitterly.
Und Petrus ging hinaus und weinte bitterlich.
63 And the men that laid hold on Jesus, insulted and abused Him;
Und die Männer, die Jesus festhielten, verspotteten und stäupten Ihn;
64 and when they had blind-folded Him, they struck Him on the face, and asked Him, saying, Prophesy who it was that smote thee.
Und sie umhüllten Ihn, schlugen Ihn ins Angesicht, und fragten ihn und sagten: Weissage, wer ist es, der Dich schlug?
65 And many other things spake they against Him, blaspheming Him.
Und vieles andere sprachen sie lästernd wider Ihn.
66 And as soon as it was day, the elders of the people, and chief-priests, and scribes, assembled together, and ordered Him up into their council:
Und als es Tag ward, versammelten sich die Ältesten des Volkes, die Hohenpriester und Schriftgelehrten, führten Ihn hinauf in ihren Rat,
67 and said to Him, Art thou the Messiah? tell us. And He said unto them, If I should tell you, ye would not believe:
Und sprachen: Bist Du Christus, so sage es uns! Er aber sprach zu ihnen: Sage Ich es euch, so glaubet ihr nicht;
68 and if I should put any question to you, ye would not answer me, nor discharge me.
Wenn Ich euch auch fragte, so würdet ihr Mir nicht antworten, noch Mich losgeben.
69 But hereafter shall the Son of man be seated on the right hand of the power of God.
Von nun wird des Menschen Sohn sitzen zur Rechten der Kraft Gottes.
70 And they all said, Art thou then the Son of God?
Sie aber sprachen alle: So bist Du den Gottes Sohn? Er aber sprach zu ihnen: Ihr sagt es; denn Ich bin.
71 And He said unto them, I am. And they said, What need have we of any farther evidence? when we ourselves have it from his own mouth?
Sie aber sprachen: Was bedürfen wir weiter Zeugnis? Denn wir selbst haben es aus Seinem Mund gehört!
