Galatians 3
1 Foolish Galatians, who has bewitched you not to obey the truth, before whose eyes Yeshua the Messiah was openly portrayed amongst you as crucified?
හේ නිර්බ්බෝධා ගාලාතිලෝකාඃ, යුෂ්මාකං මධ්‍යේ ක්‍රුශේ හත ඉව යීශුඃ ඛ්‍රීෂ්ටෝ යුෂ්මාකං සමක්‍ෂං ප්‍රකාශිත ආසීත් අතෝ යූයං යථා සත්‍යං වාක්‍යං න ගෘහ්ලීථ තථා කේනාමුහ්‍යත?
2 I just want to learn this from you: Did you receive the Spirit by the works of the law, or by hearing of faith?
අහං යුෂ්මත්තඃ කථාමේකාං ජිඥාසේ යූයම් ආත්මානං කේනාලභධ්වං? ව්‍යවස්ථාපාලනේන කිං වා විශ්වාසවාක්‍යස්‍ය ශ්‍රවණේන?
3 Are you so foolish? Having begun in the Spirit, are you now completed in the flesh?
යූයං කිම් ඊදෘග් අබෝධා යද් ආත්මනා කර්ම්මාරභ්‍ය ශරීරේණ තත් සාධයිතුං යතධ්වේ?
4 Did you suffer so many things in vain, if it is indeed in vain?
තර්හි යුෂ්මාකං ගුරුතරෝ දුඃඛභෝගඃ කිං නිෂ්ඵලෝ භවිෂ්‍යති? කුඵලයුක්තෝ වා කිං භවිෂ්‍යති?
5 He therefore who supplies the Spirit to you and does miracles amongst you, does he do it by the works of the law, or by hearing of faith?
යෝ යුෂ්මභ්‍යම් ආත්මානං දත්තවාන් යුෂ්මන්මධ්‍ය ආශ්චර‍්‍ය්‍යාණි කර්ම්මාණි ච සාධිතවාන් ස කිං ව්‍යවස්ථාපාලනේන විශ්වාසවාක්‍යස්‍ය ශ්‍රවණේන වා තත් කෘතවාන්?
6 Even so, Abraham “believed God, and it was counted to him for righteousness.”
ලිඛිතමාස්තේ, ඉබ්‍රාහීම ඊශ්වරේ ව්‍යශ්වසීත් ස ච විශ්වාසස්තස්මෛ පුණ්‍යාර්ථං ගණිතෝ බභූව,
7 Know therefore that those who are of faith are children of Abraham.
අතෝ යේ විශ්වාසාශ්‍රිතාස්ත ඒවේබ්‍රාහීමඃ සන්තානා ඉති යුෂ්මාභි ර්ඥායතාං|
8 The Scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the Gentiles by faith, preached the Good News beforehand to Abraham, saying, “In you all the nations will be blessed.”
ඊශ්වරෝ භින්නජාතීයාන් විශ්වාසේන සපුණ්‍යීකරිෂ්‍යතීති පූර්ව්වං ඥාත්වා ශාස්ත්‍රදාතා පූර්ව්වම් ඉබ්‍රාහීමං සුසංවාදං ශ්‍රාවයන ජගාද, ත්වත්තෝ භින්නජාතීයාඃ සර්ව්ව ආශිෂං ප්‍රාප්ස්‍යන්තීති|
9 So then, those who are of faith are blessed with the faithful Abraham.
අතෝ යේ විශ්වාසාශ්‍රිතාස්තේ විශ්වාසිනේබ්‍රාහීමා සාර්ද්ධම් ආශිෂං ලභන්තේ|
10 For as many as are of the works of the law are under a curse. For it is written, “Cursed is everyone who doesn’t continue in all things that are written in the scroll of the Torah, to do them.”
යාවන්තෝ ලෝකා ව්‍යවස්ථායාඃ කර්ම්මණ්‍යාශ්‍රයන්ති තේ සර්ව්වේ ශාපාධීනා භවන්ති යතෝ ලිඛිතමාස්තේ, යථා, "යඃ කශ්චිද් ඒතස්‍ය ව්‍යවස්ථාග්‍රන්ථස්‍ය සර්ව්වවාක්‍යානි නිශ්චිද්‍රං න පාලයති ස ශප්ත ඉති| "
11 Now that no man is justified by the law before God is evident, for, “The righteous will live by faith.”
ඊශ්වරස්‍ය සාක්‍ෂාත් කෝ(අ)පි ව්‍යවස්ථයා සපුණ්‍යෝ න භවති තද ව්‍යක්තං යතඃ "පුණ්‍යවාන් මානවෝ විශ්වාසේන ජීවිෂ්‍යතීති" ශාස්ත්‍රීයං වචඃ|
12 The law is not of faith, but, “The man who does them will live by them.”
ව්‍යවස්ථා තු විශ්වාසසම්බන්ධිනී න භවති කින්ත්වේතානි යඃ පාලයිෂ්‍යති ස ඒව තෛ ර්ජීවිෂ්‍යතීතිනියමසම්බන්ධිනී|
13 Messiah redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us. For it is written, “Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree,”
ඛ්‍රීෂ්ටෝ(අ)ස්මාන් පරික්‍රීය ව්‍යවස්ථායාඃ ශාපාත් මෝචිතවාන් යතෝ(අ)ස්මාකං විනිමයේන ස ස්වයං ශාපාස්පදමභවත් තදධි ලිඛිතමාස්තේ, යථා, "යඃ කශ්චිත් තරාවුල්ලම්බ්‍යතේ සෝ(අ)භිශප්ත ඉති| "
14 that the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Messiah Yeshua, that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.
තස්මාද් ඛ්‍රීෂ්ටේන යීශුනේව්‍රාහීම ආශී ර්භින්නජාතීයලෝකේෂු වර්ත්තතේ තේන වයං ප්‍රතිඥාතම් ආත්මානං විශ්වාසේන ලබ්ධුං ශක්නුමඃ|
15 Brothers, speaking of human terms, though it is only a man’s covenant, yet when it has been confirmed, no one makes it void or adds to it.
හේ භ්‍රාතෘගණ මානුෂාණාං රීත්‍යනුසාරේණාහං කථයාමි කේනචිත් මානවේන යෝ නියමෝ නිරචායි තස්‍ය විකෘති ර්වෘද්ධි ර්වා කේනාපි න ක්‍රියතේ|
16 Now the promises were spoken to Abraham and to his offspring. He doesn’t say, “To descendants”, as of many, but as of one, “To your offspring”, which is Messiah.
පරන්ත්විබ්‍රාහීමේ තස්‍ය සන්තානාය ච ප්‍රතිඥාඃ ප්‍රති ශුශ්‍රුවිරේ තත්‍ර සන්තානශබ්දං බහුවචනාන්තම් අභූත්වා තව සන්තානායේත්‍යේකවචනාන්තං බභූව ස ච සන්තානඃ ඛ්‍රීෂ්ට ඒව|
17 Now I say this: A covenant confirmed beforehand by God in Messiah, the law, which came four hundred and thirty years after, does not annul, so as to make the promise of no effect.
අතඒවාහං වදාමි, ඊශ්වරේණ යෝ නියමඃ පුරා ඛ්‍රීෂ්ටමධි නිරචායි තතඃ පරං ත්‍රිංශදධිකචතුඃශතවත්සරේෂු ගතේෂු ස්ථාපිතා ව්‍යවස්ථා තං නියමං නිරර්ථකීකෘත්‍ය තදීයප්‍රතිඥා ලෝප්තුං න ශක්නෝති|
18 For if the inheritance is of the law, it is no more of promise; but God has granted it to Abraham by promise.
යස්මාත් සම්පදධිකාරෝ යදි ව්‍යවස්ථයා භවති තර්හි ප්‍රතිඥයා න භවති කින්ත්වීශ්වරඃ ප්‍රතිඥයා තදධිකාරිත්වම් ඉබ්‍රාහීමේ (අ)දදාත්|
19 Then why is there the law? It was added because of transgressions, until the offspring should come to whom the promise has been made. It was ordained through angels by the hand of a mediator.
තර්හි ව්‍යවස්ථා කිම්භූතා? ප්‍රතිඥා යස්මෛ ප්‍රතිශ්‍රුතා තස්‍ය සන්තානස්‍යාගමනං යාවද් ව්‍යභිචාරනිවාරණාර්ථං ව්‍යවස්ථාපි දත්තා, සා ච දූතෛරාඥාපිතා මධ්‍යස්ථස්‍ය කරේ සමර්පිතා ච|
20 Now a mediator is not between one, but God is one.
නෛකස්‍ය මධ්‍යස්ථෝ විද්‍යතේ කින්ත්වීශ්වර ඒක ඒව|
21 Is the law then against the promises of God? Certainly not! For if there had been a law given which could make alive, most certainly righteousness would have been of the law.
තර්හි ව්‍යවස්ථා කිම් ඊශ්වරස්‍ය ප්‍රතිඥානාං විරුද්ධා? තන්න භවතු| යස්මාද් යදි සා ව්‍යවස්ථා ජීවනදානේසමර්ථාභවිෂ්‍යත් තර්හි ව්‍යවස්ථයෛව පුණ්‍යලාභෝ(අ)භවිෂ්‍යත්|
22 But the Scripture imprisoned all things under sin, that the promise by faith in Yeshua the Messiah might be given to those who believe.
කින්තු යීශුඛ්‍රීෂ්ටේ යෝ විශ්වාසස්තත්සම්බන්ධියාඃ ප්‍රතිඥායාඃ ඵලං යද් විශ්වාසිලෝකේභ්‍යෝ දීයතේ තදර්ථං ශාස්ත්‍රදාතා සර්ව්වාන් පාපාධීනාන් ගණයති|
23 But before faith came, we were kept in custody under the law, confined for the faith which should afterwards be revealed.
අතඒව විශ්වාසස්‍යානාගතසමයේ වයං ව්‍යවස්ථාධීනාඃ සන්තෝ විශ්වාසස්‍යෝදයං යාවද් රුද්ධා ඉවාරක්‍ෂ්‍යාමහේ|
24 So that the law has become our tutor to bring us to Messiah, that we might be justified by faith.
ඉත්ථං වයං යද් විශ්වාසේන සපුණ්‍යීභවාමස්තදර්ථං ඛ්‍රීෂ්ටස්‍ය සමීපම් අස්මාන් නේතුං ව්‍යවස්ථාග්‍රථෝ(අ)ස්මාකං විනේතා බභූව|
25 But now that faith has come, we are no longer under a tutor.
කින්ත්වධුනාගතේ විශ්වාසේ වයං තස්‍ය විනේතුරනධීනා අභවාම|
26 For you are all children of God, through faith in Messiah Yeshua.
ඛ්‍රීෂ්ටේ යීශෞ විශ්වසනාත් සර්ව්වේ යූයම් ඊශ්වරස්‍ය සන්තානා ජාතාඃ|
27 For as many of you as were immersed into Messiah have put on Messiah.
යූයං යාවන්තෝ ලෝකාඃ ඛ්‍රීෂ්ටේ මජ්ජිතා අභවත සර්ව්වේ ඛ්‍රීෂ්ටං පරිහිතවන්තඃ|
28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free man, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Messiah Yeshua.
අතෝ යුෂ්මන්මධ්‍යේ යිහූදියූනානිනෝ ර්දාසස්වතන්ත්‍රයෝ ර‍්‍යෝෂාපුරුෂයෝශ්ච කෝ(අ)පි විශේෂෝ නාස්ති; සර්ව්වේ යූයං ඛ්‍රීෂ්ටේ යීශාවේක ඒව|
29 If you are Messiah’s, then you are Abraham’s offspring and heirs according to promise.
කිඤ්ච යූයං යදි ඛ්‍රීෂ්ටස්‍ය භවථ තර්හි සුතරාම් ඉබ්‍රාහීමඃ සන්තානාඃ ප්‍රතිඥයා සම්පදධිකාරිණශ්චාධ්වේ|
