< 1 Corinthians 14 >

1 Follow after love and earnestly desire spiritual gifts, but especially that you may prophesy.
Luluta tomba luzolo, lulomba diaka makaba ma Pheve. Vayi mboti luluta tomba dikaba di bikula.
2 For he who speaks in another language speaks not to men, but to God, for no one understands, but in the Spirit he speaks mysteries.
Mutu wowo widi dikaba di tuba zimbembo zi phila mu phila, kuidi Nzambi kantuba vayi bika kuidi batu. Kadi mutu kalendi kunsudika ko; vayi mu Pheve wulembo tubi mambu matsueki.
3 But he who prophesies speaks to men for their edification, exhortation, and consolation.
Vayi mutu wowo wumbikulanga kuidi batu kantuba, wunkindisanga minu kiawu, wuntunganga batu ayi wukubabombanga.
4 He who speaks in another language edifies himself, but he who prophesies edifies the assembly.
Mutu wowo wuntubanga zimbembo zi phila mu phila wukukikindisanga niandi veka. Vayi mutu wowo wumbikulanga, wukudisanga dibundu mu minu.
5 Now I desire to have you all speak with other languages, but even more that you would prophesy. For he is greater who prophesies than he who speaks with other languages, unless he interprets, that the assembly may be built up.
Thidi ti beno boso luba ayi dikaba di tubanga zimbembo zi phila mu phila vayi ndutidi zola ti beno babo lubikula. Dikaba di bikula dilutidi mfunu ayi dikaba dituba zimbembo zi phila mu phila. Muaki dikaba beni dimbanga mfunu enati mutu wowo wuntuba wulenda sudikisa mambu momo makatubidi mu diambu dibundu ditungu.
6 But now, brothers, if I come to you speaking with other languages, what would I profit you unless I speak to you either by way of revelation, or of knowledge, or of prophesying, or of teaching?
Diawu bakhomba, enati ndizidi kuidi beno ayi ndikuluyolukila mu zimbembo zi phila mu phila, buna ndandu mbi lulenda baka mu minu enati ndikadi kuluyolukila mu mambu momo Nzambi kalembo mbonisa voti mu mambu ma diela, voti mu mambu ma mbikudulu voti mu mambu ma ndongolo?
7 Even lifeless things that make a sound, whether pipe or harp, if they didn’t give a distinction in the sounds, how would it be known what is piped or harped?
Tubonga kifuani ki bisiku bi miziki bikambulu luzingu, banga flute votingitale. Enati bitotulanga ko ningu wuviakana, buna buevi tulenda zabilamambu momo malembo siku mu flute voti mu ngitale?
8 For if the shofar gave an uncertain sound, who would prepare himself for war?
Voti enati tulumbeta yitotulanga ko ningu wunwakana bumboti, buna nani wulenda kubama mu kuenda nuana mvita e?
9 So also you, unless you uttered by the tongue words easy to understand, how would it be known what is spoken? For you would be speaking into the air.
Bobuawu kuidi beno. Enati lunyolukila mu zimbembo zi phila mu phila buna buevi balenda zabila mambu momo lutidi tuba bu lulembo totula mambu mankambu wakana bumboti e?
10 There are, it may be, so many kinds of languages in the world, and none of them is without meaning.
Zimbembo bawombo zidi va ntoto wawu, ayi zidi ziviakana, vayi kadi mbembo yimosi mu zizioso yikambulu mfunu.
11 If then I don’t know the meaning of the language, I would be to him who speaks a foreigner, and he who speaks would be a foreigner to me.
Vayi kuidi minu, enati ndikadi zaba mbembo yoyo yi balembo khambila mambu, buna mutu wowo wuntuba mbembo beni weka nzenza kuidi minu ayi minu mamvama ndidi nzenza kuidi niandi.
12 So also you, since you are zealous for spiritual gifts, seek that you may abound to the building up of the assembly.
Bu luidi phuila mu baka makaba ma Pheve Yinlongo, lumatombanga buwombo vayi lumatombila mu diambu makudisa Dibundu mu minu.
13 Therefore let him who speaks in another language pray that he may interpret.
Diawu enati mutu beki dikaba di tuba mu mbembo yikambu zabakana, bika kasambila mu diambu kabaka dikaba di sudikisila mambu momo katubidi.
14 For if I pray in another language, my spirit prays, but my understanding is unfruitful.
Bila, enati ndinsambila mu mbembo yikambu zabakana, buna Pheve ama kaka yidi mu lusambulu vayi diela diama dikadi baka kadi kima.
15 What should I do? I will pray with the spirit, and I will pray with the understanding also. I will sing with the spirit, and I will sing with the understanding also.
Mbi mfueti vanga? Ndiela sambilanga mu Pheve ama vayi ndielasambilanga diaka mu diela diama. Ndiela yimbidilanga Nzambi mu Phevevayi ndiela yimbidila diaka mu diela diama.
16 Otherwise, if you bless with the spirit, how will he who fills the place of the unlearned say the “Amen” at your giving of thanks, seeing he doesn’t know what you say?
Enati wulembo vutudila Nzambi matondo mu Pheve kaka, buna buevi mutu, widi mu dibundu, wukambu longa kalenda vutudila “Ameni” mu lusambulu luaku lu mvutudulu matondo e? Bila kakadi sudika mambu momo wulembo tubi.
17 For you most certainly give thanks well, but the other person is not built up.
Banza ti lusambulu lumvutudulu matondo kuidi Nzambi luidi lumboti, vayi wunkaka kakadi kula mu minu.
18 I thank my God, I speak with other languages more than you all.
Ndimvutulanga matondo mawombo kuidi Nzambi, bila ndiluviokidi beno boso mu tuba zimbembo zikambulu zabakana.
19 However, in the assembly I would rather speak five words with my understanding, that I might instruct others also, than ten thousand words in another language.
Vayi mu lukutukunu, ndinzolanga kuwombo tuba mambu matanu malenda sudika batu boso, mu diambu di longa bankaka ayi mu tuba kumi di mili di mambu mu mbembo yikambu zabakana.
20 Brothers, don’t be children in thoughts, yet in malice be babies, but in thoughts be mature.
Zikhomba, lubika ba banga bana balezi mu diela dieno vayi lukituka bana balezi mu vanganga mambu mambimbi; vayi luba bakulutu mu diela dieno.
21 In the law it is written, “By men of strange languages and by the lips of strangers I will speak to this people. They won’t even listen to me that way, says the Lord.”
Masonama mu mina ti: Pfumu wutuba ti: ndiela yolukila batu baba mu zimbembo zinkaka mu miunu mi banzenza, ka diambu ko bobo balendi kunguilukila ko.
22 Therefore other languages are for a sign, not to those who believe, but to the unbelieving; but prophesying is for a sign, not to the unbelieving, but to those who believe.
Diawu dikaba di tuba zimbembo zi phila mu phila didi dimbu mu diambu di bawu bakambu wilukila vayi disi dimbu ko kuidi bawu bawilukila. Vayi dikaba di bikula didi dimbu kuidi bawu bawilukila vayi disi dimbu ko kuidi bawu bakambu wilukila.
23 If therefore the whole assembly is assembled together and all speak with other languages, and unlearned or unbelieving people come in, won’t they say that you are crazy?
Enati dibundu dioso dikutikini va kimosi ayi batu boso beka tuba zimbembo zi phila mu phila vayi zimbukila batu bakambu longa voti bakambu wilukila bakotidi, keti buna siba banzila ti beno babo lumeni lawuka e?
24 But if all prophesy, and someone unbelieving or unlearned comes in, he is reproved by all, and he is judged by all.
Vayi enati batu boso balembo bikula, mutu wukambu wilukila voti wukambu longa bu kakotidi buna maka kimona mutu wu masumu ayi mayindu mandi ma ntima mama nsambisa.
25 And thus the secrets of his heart are revealed. So he will fall down on his face and worship God, declaring that God is amongst you indeed.
Matsueki ma ntimꞌandi mela totolo va nganda. Buna wela fukama, wela yinika zizi kiandi mu kembisa Nzambi ayi wela tuba: “Bukiedika Nzambi widi yeno.”
26 What is it then, brothers? When you come together, each one of you has a psalm, has a teaching, has a revelation, has another language, or has an interpretation. Let all things be done to build each other up.
Zikhomba, mbi bivanga e? Bu lunkutakananga, wumosi makayimbila, wunkaka makalonga, wunkaka maka tuba mu zimbembo zi phila mu phila, wunkaka maka tuba mambu kasongolo, wunkaka sudikisa zimbembo zi philamu phila. Bika mambu moso momo maba mu diambu di thungulu yi dibundu.
27 If any man speaks in another language, let there be two, or at the most three, and in turn; and let one interpret.
Enati batu balembo tubi mu mbembo yi nzenza, baba batu buadi vayi babika vioka batatu, ayi bika kadika mutu katuba mu yandi thangu ayi bulutidi mboti vaba mutu wulenda sudikisa mambu malembo yoloko.
28 But if there is no interpreter, let him keep silent in the assembly, and let him speak to himself and to God.
Vayi enati vasi ko mutu wulenda sudikisa mambu malembo tubu buna bulutidi fuana kuidi mutu widi dikaba di tuba zimbembo zi phila mu phila mu dimbama mu dibundu. Bika katuba mu diambu di niandi veka ayi mu diambu di Nzambi.
29 Let two or three of the prophets speak, and let the others discern.
Mu diambu di mimbikudi, bika batu buadi voti batu batatu batuba bosi bika bankaka bafiongunina.
30 But if a revelation is made to another sitting by, let the first keep silent.
Enati mutu wunkaka widi mu lukutukunu songolo mambu mu thangu mutu wunkaka kalembo tubi, buna bika mutu wowo wutheti kadimbama.
31 For you all can prophesy one by one, that all may learn and all may be exhorted.
Bila beno boso lulenda kueno bikula kadika mutu mu yandi thangumuingi batu boso balonguka ayi bakindusu.
32 The spirits of the prophets are subject to the prophets,
Bila mimbikudi minyadilanga ziphevi zi mimbikudi.
33 for God is not a God of confusion but of peace, as in all the assemblies of the holy ones.
Bila Nzambi kasi Nzambi yi divunzi ko vayi Nzambi yi ndembama. Banga buididi mu mabundu moso ma banlongo,
34 Let the wives be quiet in the assemblies, for it has not been permitted for them to be talking except in submission, as the law also says,
bika baketo badimbama mu zikhutukunu. Bila basi ko minsua miyolukila vayi bafueti tumama banga bueti tubila Mina.
35 if they desire to learn anything. “Let them ask their own husbands at home, for it is shameful for a wife to be talking in the assembly.”
Enati batidi longuka, bika bayuvula babakala bawu mu zinzo ziawu; bila didi diambu di tsoni kuidi nketo mu tuba mu lukutukunu.
36 What!? Was it from you that the word of God went out? Or did it come to you alone?
Kuidi beno kutotukila mambu ma Nzambi? Voti kuidi beno kaka mayiza e?
37 If any man thinks himself to be a prophet or spiritual, let him recognise the things which I write to you, that they are the commandment of the Lord.
Enati mutu wulembo yindula ti widi mbikudi voti weti diatusu kuidi Pheve, buna bika kazaba ti mambu mama tsonikini madi thumunu yi niandi veka Pfumu.
38 But if anyone is ignorant, let him be ignorant.
Vayi enati mutu kasi zaba mawu ko; buna bika kabika kuandi zaba mawu.
39 Therefore, brothers, desire earnestly to prophesy, and don’t forbid speaking with other languages.
Diawu bakhomba lunuanina dikaba di bikula ayi kadi kandika dikaba di yoluka zimbembo zi phila mu phila.
40 Let all things be done decently and in order.
Vayi bika mambu moso mavangimina mu lukinzu, ayi mu kambu divunzi.
