Psalms 90
1 A Prayer of Moses the man of God. Lord, thou hast been our dwelling place in all generations.
Señor, tú nos has sido refugio en generación y generación.
2 Before the mountains were brought forth, or ever thou hadst formed the earth and the world, even from everlasting to everlasting, thou art God.
Antes que naciesen los montes, y formases la tierra y el mundo, y desde el siglo, y hasta el siglo, tú eres Dios.
3 Thou turnest man to destruction; and sayest, Return, ye children of men.
Vuelves al hombre hasta ser quebrantado; y dices: Convertíos, hijos del hombre.
4 For a thousand years in thy sight are but as yesterday when it is past, and as a watch in the night.
Porque mil años delante de tus ojos, son como el día de ayer, que pasó, y como la vela de la noche.
5 Thou carriest them away as with a flood; they are as a sleep: in the morning they are like grass which groweth.
Háceslos pasar como avenida de aguas: son como sueño: a la mañana pasará como la yerba;
6 In the morning it flourisheth, and groweth; in the evening it is cut down, and withereth.
Que a la mañana florece, y crece: a la tarde es cortada, y se seca.
7 For we are consumed by thy anger, and by thy wrath are we troubled.
Porque con tu furor somos consumidos: y con tu ira somos conturbados.
8 Thou hast set our iniquities before thee, our secret sins in the light of thy countenance.
Pusiste nuestras maldades delante de ti: nuestros yerros a la lumbre de tu rostro.
9 For all our days are passed away in thy wrath: we spend our years as a tale that is told.
Porque todos nuestros días declinan a causa de tu ira: acabamos nuestros años, como la palabra.
10 The days of our years are seventy years; and if by reason of strength they are eighty years, yet is their strength labour and sorrow; for it is soon cut off, and we fly away.
Los días de nuestra edad son setenta años: y los de los más valientes, ochenta años: y su fortaleza es molestia, y trabajo: porque es cortado presto, y volamos.
11 Who knoweth the power of thy anger? even according to thy fear, so is thy wrath.
¿Quién conoce la fortaleza de tu ira? que tu ira es como tu temor.
12 So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts to wisdom.
Para contar nuestros días ház nos saber así: y traeremos al corazón sabiduría.
13 Return, O LORD, how long? and repent thou concerning thy servants.
Vuélvete a nosotros o! Jehová: ¿hasta cuándo? y aplácate para con tus siervos.
14 O satisfy us early with thy mercy; that we may rejoice and be glad all our days.
Hártanos de mañana de tu misericordia: y cantaremos, y alegrarnos hemos todos nuestros días.
15 Make us glad according to the days in which thou hast afflicted us, and the years in which we have seen evil.
Alégranos como en los días que nos afligiste: como en los años que vimos mal.
16 Let thy work appear to thy servants, and thy glory to their children.
Parezca en tus siervos tu obra; y tu gloria sobre sus hijos.
17 And let the beauty of the LORD our God be upon us: and establish thou the work of our hands upon us; yea, the work of our hands establish thou it.
Y sea la hermosura de Jehová nuestro Dios sobre nosotros: y haz permanecer sobre nosotros la obra de nuestras manos: la obra de nuestras manos confirma.
