Ecclesiastes 5
1 Keep thy foot when thou goest to the house of God, and be more ready to hear, than to give the sacrifice of fools: for they consider not that they do evil.
| کاتێک دەچیت بۆ ماڵی خودا، ئاگاداری پێی خۆت بە. وەرە پێشەوە هەتا گوێ بگریت، نەوەک قوربانی گێلەکان بکەی کە خراپەکاری خۆیان نازانن. |
2 Be not rash with thy mouth, and let not thy heart be hasty to utter any thing before God: for God is in heaven, and thou upon earth: therefore let thy words be few.
| با دەمت لە قسەکردندا پەلە نەکات، با دڵیشت خێرا نەکات، لە دەربڕینی قسە لەبەردەم خودا، چونکە خودا لە ئاسمانە و تۆ لەسەر زەویت، لەبەر ئەمە با وشەکانت کەم بن. |
3 For a dream cometh through the multitude of business; and a fool’s voice is known by a multitude of words.
| خەون لە ئەنجامی ماندووبوونی زۆرەوە دێت و قسەی گێلیش لە زۆر گوتن. |
4 When thou vowest a vow to God, defer not to pay it; for he hath no pleasure in fools: pay that which thou hast vowed.
| ئەگەر نەزرێکت بۆ خودا کرد، دوا مەکەوە لە ئەنجامدانی، چونکە بە گێلەکان دڵخۆش نابێت. جا ئەوەی نەزرت کردووە ئەنجامی بدە. |
5 Better is it that thou shouldest not vow, than that thou shouldest vow and not pay.
| باشترە نەزر نەکەیت لەوەی بیکەیت و ئەنجامی نەدەیت. |
6 Permit not thy mouth to cause thy flesh to sin; neither say thou before the angel, that it was an error: why should God be angry at thy voice, and destroy the work of thy hands?
| ڕێگا مەدە دەمت وا بکات لەشت گوناه بکات و لەبەردەم نێردراوی پەرستگا مەڵێ: «ئەم نەزرە هەڵە بوو.» بۆچی خودا لە قسەکەت تووڕە بێت و ئەوەی کردووتە لەناوی ببات؟ |
7 For in the multitude of dreams and many words there are also many vanities: but fear thou God.
| زیادبوونی خەون و چەنەبازی بێ واتان، لەبەر ئەوە لەخواترس بە. |
8 If thou seest the oppression of the poor, and violent perverting of judgment and justice in a province, wonder not at the matter: for he that is higher than the highest regardeth; and there are higher than they.
| ئەگەر بینیت لە هەرێمێکدا هەژار ستەمی لێ کرا و ڕاستودروستی و دادپەروەری پشتگوێ خرا، ئەوا سەرسام مەبە، چونکە لێپرسراوی بەرز لێپرسراوی بەرزتر دەپارێزێت و بەرزتریش لەوان هەردووکیان دەپارێزێت. |
9 Moreover the profit of the earth is for all: the king himself is served by the field.
| بەڵام گەل لە وڵات سوود وەردەگرن، چونکە پاشا هەموو کێڵگەکانی دەپارێزێت. |
10 He that loveth silver shall not be satisfied with silver; nor he that loveth abundance with increase: this is also vanity.
| ئەوەی حەزی لە پارە بێت لە پارە تێر نابێت، ئەوەی حەزی لە سامان بێت لە داهات تێر نابێت، هەروەها ئەمەش بێ واتایە. |
11 When goods increase, they are increased that eat them: and what good is there to the owners of them, except the beholding of them with their eyes?
| بە زیادبوونی خێروبێر زیاد دەبن ئەوانەی دەیخۆن. ئایا چ سوودێکی بۆ خاوەنەکەی هەیە، جگە لەوەی تەنها چاوەکانی تێری لێ دەخۆن؟ |
12 The sleep of a labouring man is sweet, whether he eateth little or much: but the abundance of the rich will not allow him to sleep.
| خۆشە خەوی کارگەر، کەم بخوات یان زۆر، بەڵام تێریی دەوڵەمەند ڕێ بە خەو نادات. |
13 There is a grievous evil which I have seen under the sun, namely, riches kept for the owners of them to their hurt.
| خراپەیەکی ناخۆش هەیە لەسەر زەویدا بینیم: سامانێک پارێزراوە بۆ خراپەی خاوەنەکەی، |
14 But those riches perish by evil labour: and he begetteth a son, and there is nothing in his hand.
| ئەم سامانەش لە مامەڵەیەکی خراپدا لەناوچوو، ئینجا کوڕێکی بوو و هیچی بۆ نەمایەوە هەتا بۆ کوڕەکەی بەجێبهێڵێت. |
15 As he came forth of his mother’s womb, naked shall he return to go as he came, and shall take nothing of his labour, which he may carry away in his hand.
| وەک چۆن لە سکی دایکی هاتە دەرەوە، بە ڕووتی دەگەڕێتەوە، دەڕوات وەک هات. هیچ شتێک لە ماندووبوونەکەی نابات لەگەڵ دەستی کە دەڕوات. |
16 And this also is a grievous evil, that in all points as he came, so shall he go: and what profit hath he that hath laboured for the wind?
| ئەمەش خراپەیەکی ناخۆشە: هەروەک چۆن مرۆڤ دێتە جیهان، بە هەمان شێوە بەجێدەهێڵێت، ئەوەی ماندووبوونەکەی بۆ با دەبێت چ قازانجێک دەکات؟ |
17 All his days also he eateth in darkness, and he hath much sorrow and wrath with his sickness.
| هەروەها هەموو ڕۆژانی ژیانی لە تاریکیدا بەسەردەبات، لەگەڵ وەڕسبوونێکی زۆر و نەخۆشی و تووڕەیی. |
18 Behold that which I have seen: it is good and proper for one to eat and to drink, and to enjoy the good of all his labour that he taketh under the sun all the days of his life, which God giveth him: for it is his portion.
| ئەوەی من بینیومە باشە، ئەوەی گونجاوە، کە مرۆڤ بخوات و بخواتەوە و خۆشی ببینێت لە هەموو ئەوەی کە لەسەر زەویدا پێوەی ماندوو دەبێت، بە درێژایی ئەو ڕۆژگارە کەمەی کە خودا پێیداوە، چونکە بەشی ئەوە. |
19 Every man also to whom God hath given riches and wealth, and hath given him power to eat of it, and to take his portion, and to rejoice in his labour; this is the gift of God.
| هەروەها کە خودا بە یەکێک دەوڵەمەندی و سامان دەدات و ئەویش دەتوانێت سوودی لێی وەربگرێت و بە بەشی خۆی ڕازی بێت و بە ماندووبوونەکەی دڵخۆش بێت، ئەمە دیارییەکە لە خوداوە. |
20 For he shall not much remember the days of his life; because God answereth him in the joy of his heart.
| جا ڕۆژگاری ژیانی بەبیر نایەتەوە، چونکە خودا بە خۆشی دڵییەوە خەریکی کردووە. |
