1 Corinthians 12
1 Now concerning spiritual gifts, brethren, I would not have you ignorant.
Mahitungod sa espirituhanon nga mga gasa, mga igsoon, dili ako buot nga kamo dili makahibalo.
2 Ye know that ye were Gentiles, carried away to these dumb idols, even as ye were led.
Nahibalo kamo nga sa mga pagano pa kamo, nahisalaag kamo ngadto sa dili makasulti nga mga diosdios, sa bisan unsa nga mga paagi gipangulohan kamo nila.
3 Therefore I give you to understand, that no man speaking by the Spirit of God calleth Jesus accursed: and that no man can say that Jesus is the Lord, but by the Holy Spirit.
Busa buot ko nga mahibaloan ninyo nga walay usa nga mosulti pinaagi sa Espiritu sa Dios nga makaingon, “Si Jesus mao ang tinunglo.” Walay usa nga makaingon, “Si Jesus mao ang Ginoo,” gawas sa Balaang Espiritu.
4 Now there are varieties of gifts, but the same Spirit.
Karon adunay nagkalain-lain nga mga gasa, apan managsama lang nga Espiritu.
5 And there are varieties of administrations, but the same Lord.
Ug adunay nagkalain-lain nga mga buluhaton, apan managsama lang nga Ginoo.
6 And there are varieties of operations, but it is the same God who worketh all in all.
Ug adunay nagkalain-lain nga mga matang sa buhat, apan kini sama lang nga Dios nga naghimo kanila nga mahimo sa tanan.
7 But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man for profit of all.
Karon sa matag usa gihatag ang gawasnon nga pagpakita sa Espiritu alang sa kaayohan sa tanan.
8 For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit;
Kay sa usa gihatag sa Espiritu ang pulong sa kaalam, ug sa uban ang pulong sa kahibalo pinaagi sa sama lang nga Espiritu.
9 To another faith by the same Spirit; to another the gifts of healing by the same Spirit;
Sa uban gihatag ang pagtuo pinaagi sa sama lang nga Espiritu, ug sa uban mga gasa sa pagpang-ayo pinaagi sa usa ka Espiritu.
10 To another the working of miracles; to another prophecy; to another discerning of spirits; to another various kinds of tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues:
Sa uban gihatag ang mga buhat sa gahom, ug sa uban pagpanagna. Sa uban gihatag ang katakos sa pag-ila tali sa mga espiritu, sa uban mga nagkalain-lain nga matang sa mga pinulongan, ug sa uban ang paghubad sa mga pinulongan.
11 But all these worketh that one and the very same Spirit, dividing to every man individually as he will.
Apan ang usa ug sama lang nga Espiritu ang nagbuhat niining tanan, naghatag ug mga gasa sa matag usa sa tagsa-tagsa, sumala sa iyang gipili.
12 For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also is Christ.
Kay ingon nga ang lawas usa ug adunay daghan nga mga sakop ug ang tanan sakop sa sama nga lawas, mao nga kini uban kang Cristo.
13 For by one Spirit were we all baptized into one body, whether Jews or Gentiles, whether bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit.
Kay pinaagi sa usa ka Espiritu gibawtismohan kitang tanan ngadto sa usa ka lawas, mga Judio man o mga Griyego, ginapos man o gawasnon, ug ang tanan gihimo sa pag-inom sa usa ka Espiritu.
14 For the body is not one member, but many.
Kay ang lawas dili usa ka sakop, apan daghan.
15 If the foot shall say, Because I am not the hand, I am not of the body; is it therefore not of the body?
Kung ang tiil moingon, “Sanglit ako dili kamot, dili ako bahin sa lawas,” dili kini labing ubos nga sa bahin sa lawas.
16 And if the ear shall say, Because I am not the eye, I am not of the body; is it therefore not of the body?
Ug kung ang dalunggan magaingon, “Tungod kay dili man ako mata, dili ako bahin sa lawas,” dili kini labing ubos nga sa bahin sa lawas.
17 If the whole body were an eye, where were the hearing? If the whole were hearing, where were the smelling?
Kung ang tibuok lawas ang mata, hain man ang pagbati sa pagdungog? Kung ang tibuok lawas mao ang dalunggan, hain man ang pagbati sa pagsimhot?
18 But now hath God set the members every one of them in the body, as it hath pleased him.
Apan ang Dios nagpahimutang sa matag bahin sa lawas ingon nga siya nagbuhat niini.
19 And if they were all one member, where were the body?
Ug kung silang tanan sama nga sakop, hain man ang lawas?
20 But now are they many members, yet but one body.
Busa karon daghan sila nga mga sakop, apan usa lang ang lawas.
21 And the eye cannot say to the hand, I have no need of thee: nor again the head to the feet, I have no need of you.
Ang mata dili makaingon sa kamot, “Wala ako magkinahanglan kanimo.” Ni ang ulo moingon ngadto sa mga tiil, “Wala ako magkinahanglan kanimo.”
22 Nay, much more those members of the body, which seem to be more feeble, are necessary:
Apan ang mga sakop sa lawas nga makita nga labing mahuyang mao ang mahinungdanon.
23 And those members of the body, which we think to be less honourable, upon these we bestow more abundant honour; and our uncomely parts have more abundant comeliness.
Ug ang mga bahin sa lawas nga atong gihunahuna nga dili kaayo dungganon, mohatag kita kanila sa labing dako nga pagpasidungog, ug ang atong dili angayan nga mga sakop adunay labaw nga dungog.
24 For our comely parts have no need: but God hath tempered the body together, having given more abundant honour to that part which lacked:
Karon ang atong angayan nga mga sakop dili kinahanglan nga tagdon uban sa dungog, kay aduna na silay dungog. Apan gihiusa sa Dios ang tanan nga mga sakop, ug naghatag siya ug dugang nga kadungganan niadtong nakulangan niini.
25 That there should be no schism in the body; but that the members should have the same care one for another.
Gibuhat niya kini aron walay pagkabahin-bahin sa lawas, apan nga ang mga sakop kinahanglan nga moamping alang sa usag- usa uban sa sama nga pagbati.
26 And if one member suffer, all the members suffer with it; or if one member is honoured, all the members rejoice with it.
Ug sa diha nga ang usa ka sakop mag-antos, ang tanan nga mga sakop mag-antos usab. O sa diha nga ang usa ka sakop mapasidunggan, ang tanang mga sakop maglipay usab.
27 Now ye are the body of Christ, and members in particular.
Karon kamo mao ang lawas ni Cristo ug ang tagsatagsa mga sakop niini.
28 And God hath set some in the church, first apostles, second prophets, third teachers, then miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, governments, various kinds of tongues.
Ug nagpili ang Dios diha sa simbahan sa una mga apostoles, ikaduha ang mga propeta, ikatulo ang mga magtutudlo, unya kadtong nagbuhat ug gamhanan nga mga buhat, unya ang mga gasa sa pagpang-ayo, kadtong maghatag ug mga pagtabang, kadtong nagbuhat sa buhat sa pagdumala, ug kadtong adunay nagkalain-lain nga mga matang sa mga pinulongan.
29 Are all apostles? are all prophets? are all teachers? are all workers of miracles?
Ang tanan ba kanila mga apostoles? Ang tanan ba mga propeta? Ang tanan ba mga magtutudlo? Ang tanan ba nagabuhat sa gamhanang mga buhat?
30 Have all the gifts of healing? do all speak with tongues? do all interpret?
Tanan ba kanila adunay mga gasa sa pagpang-ayo? Ang tanan ba kanila makasulti uban sa mga pinulongan? Ang tanan ba kanila makahubad sa mga pinulongan?
31 But covet earnestly the best gifts: and yet I show to you a more excellent way.
Tinguhaa gayod ang pagpangita sa labing dako nga mga gasa. Ug ipakita ko kaninyo ang dugang pang labing maayo nga paagi.
