Revelation 4

1 After this I loked and beholde a dore was open in heven and the fyrste voyce which I harde was as it were of a trompet talkinge with me which said: come vp hydder and I will shewe the thynges which must be fulfyllyd hereafter

Baada ya mambo haya nilitazama, nikaona kuwa mlango ulikuwa umefunguliwa mbinguni. Ile sauti ya kwanza, ikizungumza nami kama tarumbeta, ikisema, “Njoo hapa, nitakuonesha yatakayotokea baada ya mambo haya.”

2 And immediatly I was in the sprete: and beholde a seate was put in heven and one sate on the seate.

Mara moja nilikuwa katika Roho, niliona kulikuwa na kiti cha enzi kimewekwa mbinguni, na mtu amekikalia.

3 And he that sat was to loke apo like vnto a iaspar stone and a sardyne stone: And there was a rayne bowe aboute the seate in syght lyke to an Emeralde.

Mmoja aliyekuwa amekikalia alionekana kama jiwe la yaspi na akiki. Kulikuwa na upinde wa mvua umekizunguka kiti cha enzi. Upinde wa mvua ulionekana kama zumaridi.

4 And aboute the seate were. xxiiii. seates. And upon the seates. xxiiii. elders syttinge clothed in whyte rayment and had on their heddes crounes of gold.

Kukizunguka kiti cha enzi kulikuwa na viti vya enzi vingine ishirini na vinne, na waliokaa kwenye viti vya enzi walikuwa wazee ishirini na wanne, wamevikwa mavazi meupe na taji za dhahabu vichwani mwao.

5 And out of the seate proceded lightnynges and thundrynges and voyces and there wer vii. lampes of fyre burninge before ye seate which are the vii. sprettes of God.

Kutoka katika kiti cha enzi kulitoka miale ya radi, muungurumo na radi. Taa saba zilikuwa zikiwaka mbele ya kiti cha enzi, taa ambazo ni roho saba za Mungu.

6 And before the seate there was a see of glasse lyke vnto cristall and in the myddes of the seate and rounde aboute the seate were iiii. bestes full of eyes before and behynde.

Tena mbele ya kiti cha enzi kulikuwa na bahari, iliyowazi kama kioo. Wote kuzunguka kiti cha enzi kulikuwa na wenye uhai wanne, waliojaa macho mbele na nyuma.

7 And the fyrste best was lyke a lion the seconde best lyke a calfe and ye thyrde beste had a face as a man and the fourthe beste was like a flyinge egle.

Kiumbe wa kwanza mwenye uhai alikuwa kama simba, kiumbe wa pili mwenye uhai alikuwa kama ndama, kiumbe wa tatu mwenye uhai alikuwa na uso kama wa mwanadamu, na yule mwenye uhai wa nne alikuwa kama tai apaaye.

8 And the iiii. bestes had eche one of them vi. wynges aboute him and they were full of eyes with in. And they had noo reste daye nether nyght sayinge: holy holy holy lorde god almyghty which was and is and is to come.

Viumbe wenye uhai wanne kila mmoja alikuwa na mabawa sita, wamejaa macho juu na chini yake. Usiku na mchana hawakomi kusema, “Mtakatifu, mtakatifu, mtakatifu ni Bwana Mungu, mtawala juu ya wote, aliyekuwepo, na aliyepo na atakayekuja.”

9 And when those beestes gave glory and honour and thankes to him that sat on the seate which lyveth for ever and ever: (aiōn g165)

Kila wakati viumbe wenye uhai walipotoa utukufu, heshima, na kushukuru mbele za aliyekuwa ameketi kwenye hicho kiti cha enzi, yeye aishiye milele na daima, (aiōn g165)

10 the xxiiii. elders fell doune before him that sat on the trone and worshipped him that lyveth for ever and caste their crounes before the trone sayinge: (aiōn g165)

wazee ishirini na wanne walisujudu wenyewe mbele yake aliyekikalia kiti cha enzi. Waliinama chini kwake aishiye milele na daima na kutupa chini taji zao mbele ya kiti cha enzi wakisema, (aiōn g165)

11 thou arte worthy lorde to receave glory and honoure and power for thou haste created all thinges and for thy wylles sake they are and were created.

“Wastahili wewe, Bwana wetu na Mungu wetu, kupokea utukufu na heshima na nguvu. Kwa kuwa uliviumba vitu vyote, na kwa mapenzi yako, vilikuwepo na viliumbwa.”
