< 1 Corinthians 12 >

1 In spirituall thinges brethren I wolde not have you ignoraunt.

2 Ye knowe that ye were gentyls and went youre wayes vnto domme ydoles even as ye were ledde.
Maana lukih na nami awm awh ikawmyih na awm a ngaihnaak amyihna, ce myiqawl awi amak takhqi benna ceh pyi na awm uhyk ti sim uhyk ti.
3 Wherfore I declare vnto you that no man speakynge in the sprete of god defieth Iesus. Also no man can saye that Iesus is the lorde: but by the holy goost.

4 Ther are diversities of gyftes verely yet but one sprete.
Them pek ak chang chang awm hlai hy, Myihla taw pynoet ni.
5 And ther are differences of administracions and yet but one lorde.
Bibinaak ak chang chang awm hlai hy, Bawipa taw pynoet ni.
6 And ther are divers maners of operacions and yet but one God which worketh all thinges that are wrought in all creatures.

7 The gyftes of ye sprete are geven to every man to proffit ye congregacion.
Hawihkhaangnaak a hamna Myihla simsaknaak ce thlang boeih a venawh pek na awm hy.
8 To one is geven thorow the spirite the vtteraunce of wisdome? To another is geven the vtteraunce of knowledge by ye same sprete.
Thlang pynoet a venawh Myihla ing cyihnaak awithang pe nawh, ak chang a venawh Myihla ing awithang simnaak pe bai hy.
9 To another is geuen fayth by ye same sprete. To another ye gyftes of healynge by the same sprete.
Thlak chang pynoet a venawh Myihla awh cangnaak ce pe nawh, thlang pynoet a venawh thlak tlo qoei sak thainaak pe hy.
10 To another power to do myracles. To another prophesie? To another iudgement of spretes. To another divers tonges. To another the interpretacion of toges.
Thlang pynoet a venawh kawpoek kyi thaawmnaak pe nawh, pynoet a venawh awithang khypyinaak pe hy. Pynoet a venawh myihlakhqi hqimhqa thainaak pe nawh, ak chang pynoet a venawh awi ak chang chang pau thainaak pehy. Ak chang pynoet a ven bai awh ce am sim awi zaaksim thainaak pe hy.
11 And these all worketh eve ye silfe same sprete devydynge to every man severall gyftes even as he will.

12 For as the body is one and hath many mebres and all the membres of one body though they be many yet are but one body: even so is Christ.

13 For in one sprete are we all baptysed to make one body whether we be Iewes or getyls whether we be bonde or fre: and have all dronke of one sprete.

14 For the body is not one member but many.
Pum ve pynoet doengna am sai nawh a baai khawzah nani a sai.
15 Yf the fote saye: I am not the honde therfore I am not of the body: is he therfore not of ye body:
Khaw ing, “Kai taw kut na am awm nyng saw pum awh am paa nyng,” a ti mantaw, cemyihna a ti ak camawh pum awh a paa kaana am awm thai hy.
16 And if ye eare saye I am not the eye: therfore I am not of the body: is he therfore not of the body?
Haa ing, “Kai taw mik na am awm nyng saw pum awh am paa thai nyng,” a ti mantaw, cemyihna a ti ak camawh pum awh a paa kaana am awm thai hy.
17 If all the body were an eye where were then the eare? If all were hearynge: where were the smellynge?
Pum ve mik hqoeng na a awm mantaw, ikaw ing nu awi ang zaak kaw? Pum ve haa hqoeng na a awm mantaw, ikaw ing nu baw ang zaak bai kaw?
18 But now hath god disposed the membres every one of them in the body at his awne pleasure.

19 If they were all one member: where were the body?

20 Now are ther many membres yet but one body.

21 And the eye can not saye vnto the honde I have no nede of the: nor ye heed also to the fete. I have no nede of you.
Mik ing kut a venawh, Amni ngoe nyng! am tina thai hy. Lu ing khaw a venawh, “Amni ngoe nyng!” am tina thai bai hy.
22 Ye rather a greate deale those mebres of the body which seme to be most feble are most necessary.
Cemyihna pum a baai tha amak awn amyihna ak dangkhqi ve phu ak ta boeihkhqi na awm uhy.
23 And apo those mebres of yt body which we thinke lest honest put we most honestie on. And oure vngodly parties have most beauty on.
Cekcoengawh zoeksang kawina am ning ngaih pum a baaikhqi ce, ce qoe ce huhhly kawina awm uhy; huh sitna ak awm ni baaikhqi ing zoeksangnaak khawzah hu uhy.
24 For oure honest members nede it not. But God hath so disposed the body ad hath geven most honoure to that parte which laked

25 lest there shuld be eny stryfe in the body: but that the members shuld indifferetly care one for another.

26 And yf one member suffer all suffer with him: yf one member be had in honoure all members be glad also.
Cemyihna a baai pynoet ing ang yh awhtaw a baai changkhqi boeih ingawm yh lawt unawh, a baai pynoet zoeksangna a awm awhtaw a baaikhqi boeih ing ym pyi uhy.
27 Ye are the body of Christ and members one of another.
Nangmih taw Khrih a pumna awm unawh, a baaikhqi boeihna awm uhyk ti.
28 And God hath also ordeyned in the congregacion fyrst the Apostels secodarely prophetes thyrdly teachers then the that do miracles: after that the gyftes of healynge helpers governers diversite of tonges.
Khawsa ing thlangvang ce thlangboel khuiawh ta nawh, a pynoetnaak awh ceityih na, a pakkhihnaak awh awihkqawnkung na, ak pakthumnaak awh cawngpyikung na ta hy; cekcoengawh kawpoek saithainaak, ak tlo qoei saknaak, awi a phyn phyn na awikqawn thainaak them pekkhqi ce awm bai hy.
29 Are all Apostles? Are all Prophetes? Are all teachers? Are all doars of miracles?
Ami cu boeih ceityih na awm boeih unawh nu? Ami cu boeih tawngha na awm boeih unawh nu? Ami cu boeih cawngpyikung na awm boeih unawh nu? Ami cu boeih ing kawpoek kyi them sai boeih unawh nu?
30 Have all the gyftes of healinge? Do all speake wt tonges? Do all interprete?

31 Covet after ye best giftes. Amd yet shewe I vnto you a moare excellent waye.
