ئاندىن كېيىن نۇننىڭ ئوغلى يەشۇئا ئىككى چارلىغۇچىنى شىتتىمدىن ئەۋەتىپ ئۇلارغا: ــ سىلەر بېرىپ ئۇ زېمىننى، بولۇپمۇ يېرىخو شەھىرىنى چارلاپ كېلىڭلار، دېدى. شۇنىڭ بىلەن ئۇلار ئۇ يەرگە بېرىپ، راھاب ئاتلىق بىر پاھىشىنىڭ ئۆيىگە كىرىپ قوندى.

لېكىن بىرسى كېلىپ يېرىخو پادىشاھىغا: ــ بۈگۈن كېچە ئىسرائىللاردىن بىرنەچچە كىشى بۇ زېمىننى چارلىغىلى كەپتۇ، دەپ خەۋەر يەتكۈزدى.

شۇنىڭ بىلەن يېرىخو پادىشاھى راھابنىڭ قېشىغا ئادەم ئەۋەتىپ: ــ سېنىڭ قېشىڭغا كېلىپ، ئۆيۈڭگە كىرگەن شۇ كىشىلەرنى بىزگە تاپشۇرۇپ بەرگىن، چۈنكى ئۇلار بۇ زېمىننىڭ ھەر يېرىنى پايلىغىلى كەپتۇ، ــ دېدى.

لېكىن ئۇ ئايال ئۇ ئىككى كىشىنى ئېلىپ چىقىپ يوشۇرۇپ قويغانىدى؛ ئۇ جاۋاب بېرىپ: ــ دەرۋەقە بۇ كىشىلەر مېنىڭ قېشىمغا كەلدى، لېكىن مەن ئۇلارنىڭ نەدىن كەلگەنلىكىنى بىلمىدىم؛

قاراڭغۇ چۈشۈپ، قوۋۇقنى ئېتىدىغان ۋاقىت كەلگەندە شۇنداق بولدىكى، بۇ ئادەملەر چىقىپ كەتتى. مەن ئۇلارنىڭ قەيەرگە كەتكىنىنى بىلمەيمەن. ئۇلارنى تېزدىن قوغلىساڭلار، چوقۇم يېتىشىۋالىسىلەر، ــ دېدى.

لېكىن ئۇ ئايال ئۇلارنى ئۆگزىگە ئېلىپ چىقىپ، ئۆگزىنىڭ ئۈستىدە رەتلەپ يېيىپ قويغان زىغىر پاخاللىرىنىڭ ئاستىغا يوشۇرۇپ قويغانىدى.

ئۇلارغا: ــ پەرۋەردىگارنىڭ بۇ زېمىننى سىلەرگە مىراس قىلىپ بەرگەنلىكىنى، شۇنداقلا سىلەردىن بولغان ۋەھىمەڭلار بىزلەرگە چۈشۈپ، بۇ زېمىندىكىلەرنىڭ ھەممىسى ئالدىڭلاردا ھالىدىن كېتەي دېگىنىنى بىلىمەن؛

چۈنكى بىز سىلەر مىسىردىن چىققىنىڭلاردا پەرۋەردىگارنىڭ ئالدىڭلاردا قىزىل دېڭىزنى قورۇتقانلىقىنى، شۇنداقلا سىلەرنىڭ ئىئوردان دەرياسىنىڭ ئۇ تەرىپىدىكى ئامورىيلارنىڭ ئىككى پادىشاھى سىھون بىلەن ئوگنى قانداق قىلغانلىقىڭلارنى، ئۇلارنى مۇتلەق يوقاتقانلىقىڭلارنى ئاڭلىدۇق.

بۇنى ئاڭلاپ يۈرىكىمىز سۇ بولۇپ، سىلەرنىڭ سەۋەبىڭلاردىن ھەرقايسىمىزنىڭ روھى چىقىپ كەتتى. چۈنكى پەرۋەردىگار خۇدايىڭلار بولسا يۇقىرىدا، ئاسمانلارنىڭ ھەمدە تۆۋەندە يەرنىڭ خۇداسىدۇر.

ئەمدى سىلەردىن ئۆتۈنىمەنكى، مەن سىلەرگە كۆرسەتكەن ھىممىتىم ئۈچۈن سىلەرمۇ مېنىڭ ئاتامنىڭ جەمەتىگە ھىممەت قىلىشقا پەرۋەردىگارنىڭ نامى بىلەن ماڭا قەسەم قىلىڭلار، شۇنداقلا ئاتا-ئانامنى، ئاكا-ئۇكا، ئاچا-سىڭىل قېرىنداشلىرىمنى ۋە ئۇلارغا تەۋە بارلىقىغا چېقىلماسلىقىڭلار، جېنىمىزنى تىرىك قالدۇرۇپ، ئۆلۈمدىن قۇتقۇزۇشۇڭلار توغرىسىدا ماڭا بىر كاپالەت بەلگىسىنى بېرىڭلار، ــ دېدى.

13 and to live [obj] father my and [obj] mother my and [obj] brother: male-sibling my and [obj] (sister my *QK) and [obj] all which to/for them and to rescue [obj] soul: life our from death

14 and to say to/for her [the] human soul: life our underneath: instead you to/for to die if not to tell [obj] word: thing our this and to be in/on/with to give: give LORD to/for us [obj] [the] land: country/planet and to make: do with you kindness and truth: faithful

ئىككىيلەن ئۇنىڭغا: ــ ئەگەر سەن بۇ ئىشىمىزنى ئاشكارىلاپ قويمىساڭ، سىلەر جېنىڭلاردىن ئايرىلساڭلار، بىزمۇ جېنىمىزدىن ئايرىلغايمىز! شۇنىڭدەك شۇنداق بولىدۇكى، پەرۋەردىگار بىزگە بۇ زېمىننى ئىگە قىلغۇزغاندا، بىز جەزمەن سىلەرگە مېھرىبانلارچە ۋە سەمىمىي مۇئامىلىدە بولىمىز، دېدى.

ئايال ئۇ ئىككىسىگە: ــ قوغلىغۇچىلار سىلەرگە ئۇچراپ قالماسلىقى ئۈچۈن، تاغقا چىقىپ، ئۇ يەردە ئۈچ كۈن يوشۇرۇنۇپ تۇرۇڭلار؛ قوغلىغۇچىلار شەھەرگە قايتىپ كەلگەندىن كېيىن، ئاندىن سىلەر ئۆز يولۇڭلارغا ماڭساڭلار بولىدۇ، ــ دېدى.

17 and to say to(wards) her [the] human innocent we from oath your [the] this which to swear us

ئىككىسى ئايالغا: ــ ئەگەر سەن بىزنىڭ دېگىنىمىزدەك قىلمىساڭ، سەن بىزگە قىلغۇزغان قەسەمدىن خالاس بولىمىز: ــ

18 behold we to come (in): come in/on/with land: country/planet [obj] cord thread [the] scarlet [the] this to conspire in/on/with window which to go down us in/on/with him and [obj] father your and [obj] mother your and [obj] brother: male-sibling your and [obj] all house: home father your to gather to(wards) you [the] house: home [to]

مانا، بىز زېمىنغا كىرگەن چاغدا، سەن بىزنى چۈشۈرۈشكە ئىشلەتكەن بۇ قىزىل تانىنى پەنجىرىگە باغلاپ قويغىن؛ ئاندىن ئاتا-ئاناڭنى، ئاكا-ئۇكا قېرىنداشلىرىڭنى، شۇنداقلا ئاتاڭنىڭ بارلىق جەمەتىدىكىلەرنى ئۆيۈڭگە، ئۆزۈڭگە يىغىپ جەم قىلغىن.

شۇنداق بولىدۇكى، ئۆيۈڭنىڭ ئىشىكلىرىدىن تاشقىرىغا چىققان ھەركىمىنىڭ قېنى ئۆز بېشىدا بولىدۇ؛ بىز ئۇنىڭغا مەسئۇل ئەمەسمىز؛ لېكىن بىراۋ ئۆيۈڭدە سەن بىلەن بىللە بولغان بىرسىنىڭ ئۈستىگە قول سالسا، ئۇنداقتا ئۇنىڭ قېنى بىزنىڭ بېشىمىزغا چۈشكەي!

ئەگەر سەن بۇ ئىشىمىزنى ئاشكارىلاپ قويساڭ، سەن بىزگە قىلغۇزغان بۇ قەسەمدىن خالاس بولىمىز، ــ دېدى.

راھاب جاۋاب بېرىپ: ــ سىلەرنىڭ دېگىنىڭلەردەك بولسۇن دەپ، ئۇلارنى يولغا سېلىپ قويدى. ئۇلار كەتكەندىن كېيىن، ئايال پەنجىرىگە ئۇ قىزىل تانىنى باغلاپ قويدى.

ئۇ ئىككىسى ئۇ يەردىن ئايرىلىپ، تاغقا چىقىپ، قوغلىغۇچىلار [شەھەرگە] قايتىپ كەتكۈچە ئۇ يەردە ئۈچ كۈن تۇردى. قوغلىغۇچىلار يول بويىدىكى ھەممە يەرنى ئىزدەپمۇ ئۇلارنى تاپالمىدى.
