| شۇنىڭ بىلەن دىلىلاھ شىمشوندىن: ــ سەن كۈچتۈڭگۈرلۈكۈڭنىڭ زادى نەدىن بولغانلىقىنى، شۇنداقلا قانداق قىلغاندا سېنى باغلاپ بويسۇندۇرغىلى بولىدىغانلىقىنى ئېيتىپ بەرگىن! ــ دېدى. |

| شىمشون ئۇنىڭغا جاۋابەن: ــ ئادەملەر مېنى يەتتە تال قۇرۇتۇلمىغان يېڭى يا كىرىچى بىلەن باغلىسا، مەن ئاجىزلاپ باشقا ئادەملەردەك بولۇپ قالىمەن، ــ دېدى. |

| بۇنى كۆرۈپ دىلىلاھ شىمشونغا: ــ سەن ھازىرغىچە مېنى ئالداپسەن، ماڭا يالغان ئېيتىپسەن؛ ئەمدى ماڭا سېنى نېمە بىلەن باغلىسا بولىدىغانلىقىنى ئېيتىپ بەرگىن، ــ دېدى. ئۇ جاۋاپ بېرىپ: ــ سەن مېنىڭ بېشىمدىكى يەتتە ئۆرۈم چاچنى دۇكاندىكى ئۆرۈش يىپ بىلەن قوشۇپ ئۆرۈپ قويساڭلا بولىدۇ، ــ دېدى. |

| شۇنىڭ بىلەن [شىمشون ئۇخلىغاندا ئۇ ئۇنىڭ بېشىدىكى يەتتە تال چاچنى ئۆرۈش يىپ بىلەن قوشۇپ ئۆرۈپ]، قوزۇققا باغلاپ قويۇپ ئۇنىڭغا: ــ ئەي شىمشون، فىلىستىيلەر سېنى تۇتقىلى كەلدى! ــ دېدى. شىمشون ئۇيقۇدىن ئويغىنىپ، ئۆرۈش يىپ بىلەن قوزۇقنى بىراقلا تارتىپ يۇلىۋەتتى. |

| ئۇ كۆڭلىدىكى سىرىنى قويماي ئۇنىڭغا ئاشكارا قىلىپ: ــ مەن ئانامنىڭ قورسىقىدىكى چاغدىن تارتىپ خۇداغا ئاتىلىپ نازارىي بولغىنىم ئۈچۈن، بېشىمغا ھەرگىز ئۇستىرا سېلىنىپ باقمىغان؛ ئەگەر مېنىڭ چېچىم چۈشۈرۈۋېتىلسە، كۈچۈم مەندىن كېتىپ، مەن ئاجىزلاپ باشقا ئادەملەردەك بولۇپ قالىمەن، ــ دېدى. |

| خەلق شىمشوننى كۆرگەندە، ئۆز ئىلاھىنى داڭلاپ: ــ ئىلاھىمىز بولسا، يۇرتىمىزنى ۋەيران قىلغۇچىنى، ئادەملىرىمىزنى كۆپ ئۆلتۈرگەن دۈشمىنىمىزنى قولىمىزغا چۈشۈرۈپ بەردى! ــ دېيىشتى. |
