2 Chronicles 34

1 son: aged eight year Josiah in/on/with to reign he and thirty and one year to reign in/on/with Jerusalem

১যোশিয়ের বয়স আট বছর ছিল যখন তিনি রাজত্ব শুরু করেন এবং তিনি একত্রিশ বছর যিরূশালেমে রাজত্ব করেছিলেন।

2 and to make: do [the] upright in/on/with eye: appearance LORD and to go: walk in/on/with way: conduct David father his and not to turn aside: turn aside right and left

২সদাপ্রভুর চোখে যা কিছু ভাল তিনি তাই করতেন এবং তাঁর নিজের পূর্বপুরুষ দায়ূদের পথে চলতেন; সেই পথ থেকে ডানদিকে বা বাঁদিকে যেতেন না।

3 and in/on/with eight year to/for to reign him and he/she/it still he youth to profane/begin: begin to/for to seek to/for God David father his and in/on/with two ten year to profane/begin: begin to/for be pure [obj] Judah and Jerusalem from [the] high place and [the] Asherah and [the] idol and [the] liquid

৩তাঁর রাজত্বের অষ্টম বছরে তাঁর বয়স কম থাকলেও তিনি তাঁর পূর্বপুরুষ দায়ূদের ঈশ্বরের ইচ্ছামত চলবার জন্য মন স্থির করলেন। রাজত্বের বারো বছরের দিন তিনি পূজার সব উঁচু জায়গা, আশেরা মূর্ত্তি, খোদাই করা প্রতিমা ও ছাঁচে ঢালা মূর্ত্তি যিহূদা ও যিরূশালেম থেকে পরিষ্কার করতে লাগলেন।

4 and to tear to/for face his [obj] altar [the] Baal and [the] pillar which to/for above [to] from upon them to cut down/off and [the] Asherah and [the] idol and [the] liquid to break and to crush and to scatter upon face: surface [the] grave [the] to sacrifice to/for them

৪তাঁর উপস্থিতে লোকেরা বাল দেবতার বেদীগুলো ভেঙে ফেলল; সেগুলোর উপরে যে সব ধূপদানী ছিল সেগুলো কেটে টুকরা টুকরা করল এবং আশেরা খুঁটি, খোদাই করা প্রতিমা ও ছাঁচে ঢালা মুর্ত্তিগুলো ভেঙে ধূলোয় পরিণত করল। যারা সেগুলোর কাছে পশু বলি দিত তাদের কবরের উপরে সেই ধূলোগুলি ছড়িয়ে দিল।

5 and bone priest to burn upon (altar their *QK) and be pure [obj] Judah and [obj] Jerusalem

৫তিনি বেদীগুলোর উপরে যাজকদের হাড় পোড়ালেন। এই ভাবে তিনি যিহূদা ও যিরূশালেমকে শুচি করলেন।

6 and in/on/with city Manasseh and Ephraim and Simeon and till Naphtali (in/on/with mountain: mount in/on/with sword their *QK) around

৬আর মনঃশি, ইফ্রয়িম ও শিমিয়োন এলাকার গ্রাম ও শহরগুলোতে এবং তার আশেপাশের ধ্বংসের জায়গা গুলোর মধ্যে, এমন কি, নপ্তালি এলাকা পর্যন্ত সব জায়গায় এইরকম করলেন।

7 and to tear [obj] [the] altar and [obj] [the] Asherah and [the] idol to crush to/for to crush and all [the] pillar to cut down/off in/on/with all land: country/planet Israel and to return: return to/for Jerusalem

৭তিনি সমস্ত বেদী ও আশেরা খুঁটি ভেঙে ফেললেন এবং খোদাই করা প্রতিমাগুলো ভেঙে গুঁড়ো করে ফেললেন আর ইস্রায়েলের সমস্ত জায়গায় তিনি সব ধূপদানী কেটে টুকরা টুকরা করলেন। তারপর তিনি যিরূশালেমে ফিরে আসলেন।

8 and in/on/with year eight ten to/for to reign him to/for be pure [the] land: country/planet and [the] house: home to send: depart [obj] Shaphan son: child Azaliah and [obj] Maaseiah ruler [the] city and [obj] Joah son: child Joahaz [the] to remember to/for to strengthen: strengthen [obj] house: temple LORD God his

৮যোশিয়ের রাজত্বের আঠারো বছরের দিনের তিনি দেশ ও উপাসনা ঘর শুচি করবার পর তাঁর ঈশ্বর সদাপ্রভুর ঘর সারাই করবার জন্য অৎসলিয়ের ছেলে শাফনকে, শহরের শাসনকর্ত্তা মাসেয়কে ও যোয়াহসের ছেলে যোয়াহকে যিনি ইতিহাস লেখক এদেরকে পাঠিয়ে দিলেন।

9 and to come (in): come to(wards) Hilkiah [the] priest [the] great: large and to give: give [obj] [the] silver: money [the] to come (in): bring house: temple God which to gather [the] Levi to keep: guard [the] threshold from hand: to Manasseh and Ephraim and from all remnant Israel and from all Judah and Benjamin (and to return: return *QK) Jerusalem

৯তাঁরা মহাযাজক হিল্কিয়ের কাছে গেলেন এবং ঈশ্বরের ঘরে যে সব রূপা আনা হয়েছিল, অর্থাৎ যে সব রূপা রক্ষী লেবীয়েরা, মনঃশি ও ইফ্রয়িম গোষ্ঠীর লোকদের এবং ইস্রায়েলের বাকি সমস্ত লোকদের কাছ থেকে এবং যিহূদা ও বিন্যামীন গোষ্ঠীর সমস্ত লোকদের ও যিরূশালেমের বাসিন্দাদের কাছ থেকে সংগ্রহ করেছিল তা মহাযাজকের কাছে রেখে দিলেন।

10 and to give: give upon hand: to to make: [do] [the] work [the] to reckon: overseer in/on/with house: temple LORD and to give: give [obj] him to make: [do] [the] work which to make in/on/with house: temple LORD to/for to repair and to/for to strengthen: strengthen [the] house: home

১০তারপর সেই টাকা সদাপ্রভুর ঘরের কাজের দেখাশুনা করবার জন্য যে লোকদের নিযুক্ত করা হয়েছিল তাদের হাতে দেওয়া হয়েছিল। তদারককারীরা উপাসনা ঘরটি সারাই ও আবার ঠিকঠাক করবার জন্য মিস্ত্রিদের সেই টাকা দিল,

11 and to give: give to/for artificer and to/for to build to/for to buy stone hewing and tree: wood to/for clamp and to/for to lay beams [obj] [the] house: home which to ruin king Judah

১১অর্থাৎ যিহূদার রাজারা যেসব ঘরগুলো ধ্বংস করেছিলেন সেগুলোর জন্য তারা ছুতার মিস্ত্রি ও রাজমিস্ত্রিদের টাকা দিল যাতে তারা সুন্দর করে কাটা পাথর এবং ঘর সারাই করার জন্য ও কড়িকাঠের জন্য কাঠ কিনতে পারে।

12 and [the] human to make: do in/on/with faithfulness in/on/with work and upon them to reckon: overseer Jahath and Obadiah [the] Levi from son: descendant/people Merari and Zechariah and Meshullam from son: descendant/people [the] Kohathite to/for to conduct and [the] Levi all to understand in/on/with article/utensil song

১২সেই মিস্ত্রিরা বিশ্বস্তভাবে কাজ করেছিল। তাদের তদারক করবার জন্য তাদের উপরে ছিল যহৎ ও ওবদিয় নামে মরারি বংশের দুইজন লেবীয় এবং কহাৎ বংশের সখরিয় ও মশুল্লম আর যে লেবীয়েরা ভাল বাজনা বাজাতে পারত তারা সকলে মিস্ত্রিদের পরিচালনা করেছিল।

13 and upon [the] burden and to conduct to/for all to make: do work to/for service: ministry and service: ministry and from [the] Levi secretary and official and gatekeeper

১৩এরা বাড়ি তৈরির জিনিসপত্র বইবার লোকদের উপর নিযুক্ত ছিল এবং বিভিন্ন কাজে নিযুক্ত কাজের লোকদের সকলের দেখাশুনা করত। লেবীয়দের মধ্যে কেউ কেউ ছিল লেখক, কর্মকর্তা ও রক্ষী।

14 and in/on/with to come out: send they [obj] [the] silver: money [the] to come (in): bring house: temple LORD to find Hilkiah [the] priest [obj] scroll: book instruction LORD in/on/with hand: by Moses

১৪তাঁরা যখন সদাপ্রভুর ঘরে আনা টাকা বের করে আনছিলেন তখন যাজক হিল্কিয় মোশির দ্বারা দেওয়া সদাপ্রভুর ব্যবস্থার বইটি পেলেন।

15 and to answer Hilkiah and to say to(wards) Shaphan [the] secretary scroll: book [the] instruction to find in/on/with house: temple LORD and to give: give Hilkiah [obj] [the] scroll: book to(wards) Shaphan

১৫হিল্কিয় তখন রাজার লেখক শাফনকে বললেন, “সদাপ্রভুর ঘরে আমি এই ব্যবস্থার বইটি পেয়েছি।” এই বলে তিনি শাফনকে সেই বইটি দিলেন।

16 and to come (in): bring Shaphan [obj] [the] scroll: book to(wards) [the] king and to return: reply still [obj] [the] king word to/for to say all which to give: give in/on/with hand: to servant/slave your they(masc.) to make: do

১৬শাফন সেই বইটি রাজার কাছে নিয়ে গিয়ে তাঁকে বললেন, “আপনার কর্মচারীদের উপর যে কাজের দায়িত্ব দেওয়া হয়েছিল তাঁরা তা সবই করছেন।

17 and to pour [obj] [the] silver: money [the] to find in/on/with house: temple LORD and to give: give him upon hand [the] to reckon: overseer and upon hand: to to make: [do] [the] work

১৭সদাপ্রভুর ঘরে যে টাকা পাওয়া গিয়েছিল তাঁরা তা বের করে তদারককারী ও কাজের লোকদের দিয়েছেন।”

18 and to tell Shaphan [the] secretary to/for king to/for to say scroll: book to give: give to/for me Hilkiah [the] priest and to call: read out in/on/with him Shaphan to/for face: before [the] king

১৮তখন লেখক শাফন রাজাকে জানালেন, “যাজক হিল্কিয় আমাকে একটি বই দিয়েছেন।” এই বলে শাফন তা রাজাকে পড়ে শোনালেন।

19 and to be like/as to hear: hear [the] king [obj] word [the] instruction and to tear [obj] garment his

১৯রাজা ব্যবস্থার কথাগুলো যখন শুনলেন, তখন তিনি নিজের পোশাক ছিঁড়ে ফেললেন।

20 and to command [the] king [obj] Hilkiah and [obj] Ahikam son: child Shaphan and [obj] Abdon son: child Micah and [obj] Shaphan [the] secretary and [obj] Asaiah servant/slave [the] king to/for to say

২০তিনি হিল্কিয়, শাফনের ছেলে অহীকাম, মীখায়ের ছেলে অব্দোন, শাফন ও রাজার সাহায্যকারী অসায়কে এই আদেশ দিলেন এবং বললেন,

21 to go: went to seek [obj] LORD about/through/for me and about/through/for [the] to remain in/on/with Israel and in/on/with Judah upon word [the] scroll: book which to find for great: large rage LORD which to pour in/on/with us upon which not to keep: obey father our [obj] word LORD to/for to make: do like/as all [the] to write upon [the] scroll: book [the] this

২১আপনারা যান, “যে বইটি পাওয়া গেছে তার মধ্যে কি লেখা রয়েছে তা আপনারা গিয়ে আমার এবং ইস্রায়েল ও যিহূদার বাকি লোকদের জন্য সদাপ্রভুকে জিজ্ঞাসা করুন। আমাদের পূর্বপুরুষেরা সদাপ্রভুর বাক্য পালন করেন নি এবং এই বইয়ে যা লেখা আছে সেই অনুসারে কাজ করেন নি বলে সদাপ্রভুর ভীষণ ক্রোধ আমাদের উপরে পড়েছে।”

22 and to go: went Hilkiah and which [the] king to(wards) Huldah [the] prophetess woman: wife Shallum son: child (Tikvah *QK) son: child Hasrah to keep: guard [the] garment and he/she/it to dwell in/on/with Jerusalem in/on/with Second [Quarter] and to speak: speak to(wards) her like/as this

২২তখন হিল্কিয় এবং রাজা যাদের হিল্কিয়ের সঙ্গে পাঠিয়েছিলেন তাঁরা এই বিষয়ে কথা বলবার জন্য মহিলা ভাববাদীনী হুল্‌দার কাছে গেলেন। হুল্‌দা ছিলেন কাপড় চোপড় রক্ষাকারী শল্লুমের স্ত্রী। শল্লুম ছিলেন হস্রহের নাতি, অর্থাৎ তোখতের ছেলে। তিনি যিরূশালেমের দ্বিতীয় অংশে বাস করতেন।

23 and to say to/for them thus to say LORD God Israel to say to/for man which to send: depart [obj] you to(wards) me

২৩হুল্‌দা তাঁদের বললেন, “ইস্রায়েলের ঈশ্বর সদাপ্রভু আমাকে বলতে বললেন যে, আমার কাছে যিনি আপনাদের পাঠিয়েছেন তাঁকে গিয়ে বলুন,

24 thus to say LORD look! I to come (in): bring distress: harm upon [the] place [the] this and upon to dwell his [obj] all [the] oath [the] to write upon [the] scroll: book which to call: read out to/for face: before king Judah

২৪‘ইস্রায়েলের ঈশ্বর সদাপ্রভু বলেছেন: দেখো, যিহূদার রাজার সামনে সেই বইয়ে লেখা যে সব অভিশাপের কথা পড়া হয়েছে সেই সব বিপদ আমি এই জায়গা ও সেখানে বসবাসকারী লোকদের উপরে আনব।

25 underneath: because of which to leave: forsake me (and to offer: offer *Qk) to/for God another because to provoke me in/on/with all deed: work hand their and to pour rage my in/on/with place [the] this and not to quench

২৫কারণ তারা আমাকে ত্যাগ করেছে এবং অন্য দেব দেবতাদের উদ্দেশ্যে ধূপ জ্বালিয়েছে এবং তাদের হাতের তৈরী সমস্ত প্রতিমার দ্বারা আমাকে অসন্তুষ্ট করেছে। সেইজন্য এই জায়গার উপর আমার ক্রোধ আমি ঢেলে দেব এবং ক্রোধের সেই আগুন নিভানো যাবে না’।”

26 and to(wards) king Judah [the] to send: depart [obj] you to/for to seek in/on/with LORD thus to say to(wards) him thus to say LORD God Israel [the] word which to hear: hear

২৬সদাপ্রভুর কাছে জিজ্ঞাসা করবার জন্য যিনি আপনাদের পাঠিয়েছেন সেই যিহূদার রাজাকে বলবেন যে, ইস্রায়েলের ঈশ্বর সদাপ্রভু এই বলছেন, যে বাক্য সম্পর্কে আপনারা শুনেছেন:

27 because be tender heart your and be humble from to/for face: before God in/on/with to hear: hear you [obj] word his upon [the] place [the] this and upon to dwell his and be humble to/for face: before my and to tear [obj] garment your and to weep to/for face: before my and also I to hear: hear utterance LORD

২৭কারণ এই জায়গা ও সেখানে বসবাসকারী লোকদের বিরুদ্ধে আমি যা বলেছি তা শুনে তোমার হৃদয় তাতে উত্তর দিয়েছে এবং আমার সামনে তুমি নিজেকে নত করেছ ও তোমার পোশাক ছিঁড়ে আমার কাছে কান্নাকাটি করেছ। তুমি এই সব করেছ বলে আমি সদাপ্রভু তোমার প্রার্থনা শুনেছি। এই হল সদাপ্রভুর ঘোষণা।

28 look! I to gather you to(wards) father your and to gather to(wards) grave your in/on/with peace and not to see: see eye your in/on/with all [the] distress: harm which I to come (in): bring upon [the] place [the] this and upon to dwell his and to return: return [obj] [the] king word

২৮দেখো, আমি শীঘ্রই তোমাকে তোমার পূর্বপুরুষদের কাছে নিয়ে যাব এবং তুমি শান্তিতে কবর পাবে। এই জায়গার উপরে এবং যারা এখানে বাস করে তাদের উপরে আমি যে সব বিপদ নিয়ে আসব তোমার চোখ তা দেখবে না। তাঁরা হুল্‌দার এর উত্তর নিয়ে রাজার কাছে ফিরে গেলেন।

29 and to send: depart [the] king and to gather [obj] all old: elder Judah and Jerusalem

২৯তখন রাজা বার্তাবাহক পাঠিয়ে যিহূদা ও যিরূশালেমের সমস্ত প্রাচীনদের ডেকে একত্র করলেন।

30 and to ascend: rise [the] king house: temple LORD and all man Judah and to dwell Jerusalem and [the] priest and [the] Levi and all [the] people from great: large and till small and to call: read out in/on/with ear: hearing their [obj] all word scroll: book [the] covenant [the] to find house: temple LORD

৩০তিনি যিহূদা ও যিরূশালেমের লোকদের, যাজক ও লেবীয়দের এবং সাধারণ ও গণ্যমান্য সমস্ত লোকদের নিয়ে সদাপ্রভুর ঘরে গেলেন। সদাপ্রভুর ঘরে ব্যবস্থার যে বইটি পাওয়া গিয়েছিল তার সমস্ত কথা তিনি তাদের কাছে পড়ে শোনালেন।

31 and to stand: stand [the] king upon post his and to cut: make(covenant) [obj] [the] covenant to/for face: before LORD to/for to go: walk after LORD and to/for to keep: obey [obj] commandment his and testimony his and statute: decree his in/on/with all heart his and in/on/with all soul his to/for to make: do [obj] word [the] covenant [the] to write upon [the] scroll: book [the] this

৩১রাজা তাঁর নিজের জায়গায় দাঁড়ালেন এবং সদাপ্রভুর পথে চলবার জন্য এবং সমস্ত মন ও প্রাণ দিয়ে তাঁর সব আদেশ, নিয়ম ও নির্দেশ মেনে চলবার জন্য, অর্থাৎ এই বইয়ের মধ্যে লেখা ব্যবস্থার সমস্ত কথা পালন করবার জন্য সদাপ্রভুর সামনে প্রতিজ্ঞা করলেন।

32 and to stand: stand [obj] all [the] to find in/on/with Jerusalem and Benjamin and to make: do to dwell Jerusalem like/as covenant God God father their

৩২তারপর তিনি যিরূশালেম ও বিন্যামীনের উপস্থিত সমস্ত লোককে সেই একই প্রতিজ্ঞা করালেন। যিরূশালেমের লোকেরা ঈশ্বরের, তাদের পূর্বপুরুষদের ঈশ্বরের ব্যবস্থা পালন করতে শুরু করল।

33 and to turn aside: remove Josiah [obj] all [the] abomination from all [the] land: country/planet which to/for son: descendant/people Israel and to serve: minister [obj] all [the] to find in/on/with Israel to/for to serve: minister [obj] LORD God their all day his not to turn aside: turn aside from after LORD God father their

৩৩যোশিয় ইস্রায়েলীয় লোকদের অধিকারে থাকা সমস্ত দেশ থেকে সব জঘন্য প্রতিমা দূর করে দিলেন এবং ইস্রায়েলে উপস্থিত সকলকে দিয়ে তিনি তাদের ঈশ্বর সদাপ্রভুর সেবা করালেন। যতদিন তিনি বেঁচে ছিলেন ততদিন লোকেরা তাদের পূর্বপুরুষদের ঈশ্বর সদাপ্রভুর পথে চলেছিল।
