Revelation 12
1 And a sign great appeared in heaven: a woman having been clothed with the sun, and the moon under the feet of her and on the head of her a crown of stars twelve,
Und ein großes Zeichen erschien in dem Himmel: Ein Weib bekleidet mit der Sonne, und der Mond war unter ihren Füßen, und auf ihrem Haupte eine Krone von zwölf Sternen.
2 and in womb having, (And *no) (she cries out *NK+o) being in travail and being in pain to bring forth.
Und sie ist schwanger und schreit in Geburtswehen und in Schmerzen zu gebären.
3 And was seen another sign in heaven, and behold a dragon great red having heads seven and horns ten, and upon the heads of him seven royal crowns,
Und es erschien ein anderes Zeichen in dem Himmel: und siehe, ein großer, feuerroter Drache, welcher sieben Köpfe und zehn Hörner hatte, und auf seinen Köpfen sieben Diademe;
4 And the tail of him drags a third of the stars of heaven and he cast them to the earth. and the dragon has stood before the woman who is being about to bring forth, so that when she may bring forth the child of her he may devour.
und sein Schwanz zieht den dritten Teil der Sterne des Himmels mit sich fort; und er warf sie auf die Erde. Und der Drache stand vor dem Weibe, das im Begriff war zu gebären, auf daß er, wenn sie geboren hätte, ihr Kind verschlänge.
5 And she brought forth a son (male, *N+kO) who is about to rule all the nations with a rod of iron. and was caught up the child of her to God and to the throne of Him.
Und sie gebar einen männlichen Sohn, der alle Nationen weiden soll mit eiserner Rute; und ihr Kind wurde entrückt zu Gott und zu seinem Throne.
6 And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she has there a place prepared (by *NK+o) God, so that there (they may feed *NK+o) her days one thousand two hundred sixty.
Und das Weib floh in die Wüste, woselbst sie eine von Gott bereitete Stätte hat, auf daß man sie daselbst ernähre 1260 Tage.
7 And there was war in heaven: Michael and the angels of him (to war against *N+kO) the dragon. and the dragon warred [back] and the angels of him
Und es entstand ein Kampf in dem Himmel: Michael und seine Engel kämpften mit dem Drachen. Und der Drache kämpfte und seine Engel;
8 And not (he had [enough] strength, nor *N+kO) a place was found (for them *NK+O) any longer in heaven.
und sie siegten nicht ob, auch wurde ihre Stätte nicht mehr in dem Himmel gefunden.
9 And was thrown [out] the dragon great, the serpent ancient, who is called [the] devil and Satan who is deceiving the inhabited [world] whole, He was thrown down to the earth, and the angels of him with him were thrown down.
Und es wurde geworfen der große Drache, die alte Schlange, welcher Teufel und Satan [Eig. der Satan] genannt wird, der den ganzen Erdkreis [O. die ganze bewohnte Erde] verführt, geworfen wurde er auf die Erde, und seine Engel wurden mit ihm hinabgeworfen.
10 And I heard a voice great in heaven saying: Now have come the salvation and the power and the kingdom of the God of us, and the authority of the Christ of Him, because (has been cast down *N+kO) the (accuser *N+kO) of the brothers of us who is accusing (them *N+kO) before the God of us day and night.
Und ich hörte eine laute Stimme in dem Himmel sagen: Nun ist das Heil und die Macht und das Reich unseres Gottes und die Gewalt seines Christus gekommen; denn hinabgeworfen ist der Verkläger unserer Brüder, der sie Tag und Nacht vor unserem Gott verklagte.
11 And they themselves overcame him through the blood of the Lamb and through the word of the testimony of them and not they have loved the life of them unto death.
Und sie haben ihn überwunden um des Blutes des Lammes und um des Wortes ihres Zeugnisses willen, und sie haben ihr Leben nicht geliebt bis zum Tode!
12 Because of this do rejoice O heavens and you who [are] in them dwelling! Woe (to those dwelling [in] *K) (the land *NK+o) and (the sea, *NK+o) because has come down the devil to you having fury great knowing that a short time he has.
Darum seid fröhlich, ihr Himmel und die ihr in ihnen wohnet! [O. zeltet, Hütten habt] Wehe der Erde und dem Meere! denn der Teufel ist zu euch hinabgekommen und hat große Wut, da er weiß, daß er wenig Zeit hat.
13 And when saw the dragon that he had been thrown down to the earth, he pursued the woman who had brought forth the male [child].
Und als der Drache sah, daß er auf die Erde geworfen war, verfolgte er das Weib, welches das männliche Kind geboren hatte.
14 And were given to the woman (the *no) two wings of the eagle great, so that she may fly into the wilderness into the place of her (where *NK+O) (she is nourished *NK+o) there a time and times and half a time from [the] face of the serpent.
Und es wurden dem Weibe die zwei Flügel des großen Adlers gegeben, auf daß sie in die Wüste fliege, an ihre Stätte, woselbst sie ernährt wird eine Zeit und Zeiten und eine halbe Zeit, fern von dem Angesicht der Schlange.
15 And cast the serpent out of the mouth of him after the woman water as a river, so that (her *N+kO) carried away by a flood he may cause to be.
Und die Schlange warf aus ihrem Munde Wasser, wie einen Strom, hinter dem Weibe her, auf daß sie sie mit dem Strome fortrisse.
16 And gave help the earth to the woman and opened the earth the mouth of it and swallowed up the river which had cast the dragon out of the mouth of him.
Und die Erde half dem Weibe, und die Erde tat ihren Mund auf und verschlang den Strom, den der Drache aus seinem Munde warf.
17 And was angry the dragon with the woman and went to make war with the rest of the children of her who are keeping the commandments of God and holding the testimony of Jesus (Christ. *K)
Und der Drache ward zornig über das Weib und ging hin, Krieg zu führen mit den übrigen [O. dem Überrest] ihres Samens, welche die Gebote Gottes halten [O. bewahren] und das Zeugnis Jesu haben. Und ich stand auf dem Sande des Meeres.
