Matthew 21
1 And when they drew near to Jerusalem and came to Bethphage (on *N+kO) the Mount of Olives, then Jesus sent two disciples
Und als sie Jerusalem nahten und nach Bethphage kamen, an den Ölberg, da sandte Jesus zwei Jünger
2 saying to them; (do go *N+kO) into the village which [is] (in front *N+kO) of you. and immediately you will find a donkey tied and a colt with her; having untied [them] (do bring [them] *NK+o) to Me.
und sprach zu ihnen: Gehet hin in das Dorf, das euch gegenüberliegt; und alsbald werdet ihr eine Eselin angebunden finden, und ein Füllen bei ihr; bindet sie los und führet sie zu mir.
3 And if anyone to you may say anything, you will say that the Lord of them need has, Immediately then (he will send *NK+o) them.
Und wenn jemand etwas zu euch sagt, so sollt ihr sprechen: Der Herr bedarf ihrer, und alsbald wird er sie senden.
4 This then (all *k) has come to pass that it may be fulfilled that having been spoken through the prophet saying;
Dies alles aber ist geschehen, auf daß erfüllt würde, was durch den Propheten geredet ist, welcher spricht:
5 do say to the daughter of Zion; Behold the King of you comes to you, gentle and already riding on a donkey even (upon *no) a colt [the] foal of a beast of burden.
"Saget der Tochter Zion: Siehe, dein König kommt zu dir, sanftmütig und reitend auf einer Eselin und [Wohl in dem Sinne von: "und zwar"] auf einem Füllen, des Lasttiers Jungen." [Sach. 9,9]
6 Having gone then the disciples and having done even as (directed *N+kO) to them Jesus,
Als aber die Jünger hingegangen waren und getan hatten, wie Jesus ihnen aufgetragen,
7 they brought the donkey and the colt and put (upon *N+kO) them the cloaks (of them *k) and He sat on them.
brachten sie die Eselin und das Füllen und legten ihre Kleider auf sie, und er setzte sich auf dieselben.
8 The now very great crowd spread their own cloaks on the road, others now were cutting down branches from the trees and were spreading [them] on the road.
Und eine sehr große Volksmenge breitete ihre Kleider aus auf den Weg; andere aber hieben Zweige von den Bäumen und streuten sie auf den Weg.
9 The now crowds which are going before (Him *no) and those following they were crying out saying: Hosanna to the Son of David! Blessed [is] the [One] coming in [the] name of [the] Lord! Hosanna in the highest!
Die Volksmenge aber, welche vor ihm herging und nachfolgte, rief und sprach: Hosanna dem Sohne Davids! Gepriesen sei, der da kommt im Namen des Herrn! [Vergl. Ps. 118,26] Hosanna in der Höhe! [Eig. in den höchsten [Örtern]]
10 And when was entering He into Jerusalem was stirred all the city saying; Who is this?
Und als er in Jerusalem einzog, kam die ganze Stadt in Bewegung und sprach: Wer ist dieser?
11 And the crowds were saying; This is the prophet Jesus, the [One] from Nazareth of Galilee.
Die Volksmenge aber sagte: Dieser ist Jesus, der Prophet, der von Nazareth in Galiläa.
12 And entered Jesus into the temple (of God *K) and cast out all those selling and buying in the temple, and the tables of the money changers He overturned and the seats of those selling the doves.
Und Jesus trat in den Tempel [die Gebäude [s. die Anm. zu Kap. 4,5]; so auch v 14. 15. 23.] Gottes ein und trieb alle hinaus, die im Tempel [die Gebäude [s. die Anm. zu Kap. 4,5]; so auch v 14. 15. 23.] verkauften, und kauften, und die Tische der Wechsler und die Sitze der Taubenverkäufer stieß er um.
13 And He says to them; It has been written: The house of Mine a house of prayer will be called,’ You yourselves however it (make *N+kO) a den of robbers.’
Und er spricht zu ihnen: Es steht geschrieben: "Mein Haus wird ein Bethaus genannt werden"; [Jes. 56,7] "ihr aber habt es zu einer Räuberhöhle gemacht". [Vergl. Jer. 7,11]
14 And came to Him blind and lame in the temple, and He healed them.
Und es traten Blinde und Lahme in dem Tempel zu ihm, und er heilte sie.
15 Having seen now the chief priests and the scribes the wonders that He did and the children (who *no) are crying out in the temple and saying; Hosanna to the Son of David, they were indignant
Als aber die Hohenpriester und die Schriftgelehrten die Wunder sahen, welche er tat, und die Kinder, die im Tempel schrieen und sagten: Hosanna dem Sohne Davids! -wurden sie unwillig
16 and said to Him; Hear you what these say? And Jesus says to them; Yes. surely sometime you did read that Out of [the] mouth of babes and sucklings You have prepared for yourself praise’?
und sprachen zu ihm: Hörst du, was diese sagen? Jesus aber spricht zu ihnen: Ja, habt ihr nie gelesen: "Aus dem Munde der Unmündigen und Säuglinge hast du dir Lob bereitet"? [Ps. 8,2]
17 And having left them He went out of the city to Bethany and He passed the night there.
Und er verließ sie und ging hinaus, außerhalb der Stadt nach Bethanien, und übernachtete daselbst.
18 (Early *N+kO) then (he is coming back *NK+o) into the city He became hungry,
Des Morgens früh aber, als er in die Stadt zurückkehrte, hungerte ihn.
19 And having seen fig tree one along the road He came to it and no [thing] found on it only except leaves alone And He says to it; (certainly *o) no more from you fruit there may be to the age. And withered immediately the fig tree. (aiōn g165)
Und als er einen Feigenbaum an dem Wege sah, ging er auf ihn zu und fand nichts an ihm als nur Blätter. Und er spricht zu ihm: Nimmermehr komme Frucht von dir in Ewigkeit! Und alsbald verdorrte der Feigenbaum. (aiōn g165)
20 And having seen [it] the disciples marveled saying; How so quickly withered the fig tree?
Und als die Jünger es sahen, verwunderten sie sich und sprachen: Wie alsbald ist der Feigenbaum verdorrt!
21 Answering now Jesus said to them; Amen I say to you; if you shall have faith and not shall doubt, not only the [miracle] of the fig tree will you do, but even if even if to the mountain this you shall say; do be taken away and do be cast into the sea, it will come to pass;
Jesus aber antwortete und sprach zu ihnen: Wahrlich, ich sage euch: Wenn ihr Glauben habt und nicht zweifelt, so werdet ihr nicht allein das mit dem Feigenbaum Geschehene tun, sondern wenn ihr auch zu diesem Berge sagen werdet: Werde aufgehoben und ins Meer geworfen! so wird es geschehen.
22 And all things as much as (maybe *NK+o) you shall ask in prayer believing, you will receive.
Und alles, was irgend ihr im Gebet glaubend begehret, werdet ihr empfangen.
23 And (when was coming He *N+kO) into the temple came to Him teaching the chief priests and the elders of the people saying; By what authority these things are You doing And who to You gave authority this?
Und als er in den Tempel kam, traten, als er lehrte, die Hohenpriester und die Ältesten des Volkes zu ihm und sprachen: In welchem Recht [O. welcher Vollmacht; so auch nachher] tust du diese Dinge? und wer hat dir dieses Recht gegeben?
24 Answering now Jesus said to them; Will ask you I myself also I myself also thing one, which if you shall tell Me I myself also I myself also to you will say by what authority these things I do.
Jesus aber antwortete und sprach zu ihnen: Auch ich will euch ein Wort fragen, und wenn ihr es mir saget, so werde auch ich euch sagen, in welchem Recht ich diese Dinge tue.
25 The baptism of John from where was it? From heaven or from men? And they were reasoning (among *N+kO) themselves saying; If we shall say; From heaven, He will say to us; Because of why then not did you believe in him?
Die Taufe Johannes, woher war sie? vom Himmel oder von Menschen? Sie aber überlegten bei sich selbst und sprachen: Wenn wir sagen: vom Himmel, so wird er zu uns sagen: Warum habt ihr ihm denn nicht geglaubt?
26 If however we shall say; From men, we fear the multitude; all for as a prophet hold John.
Wenn wir aber sagen: von Menschen, -wir fürchten die Volksmenge, denn alle halten Johannes für einen Propheten.
27 And answering Jesus they said; Not do we know. Was saying to them also He himself; Neither I myself tell you by what authority these things I do.
Und sie antworteten Jesu und sprachen: Wir wissen es nicht. Da sagte auch er zu ihnen: So sage auch ich euch nicht, in welchem Recht ich diese Dinge tue.
28 What however you think? A man had sons two, and having come to the first he said; Son, do go today do work in the vineyard (of mine. *k)
Was dünkt euch aber? Ein Mensch hatte zwei Kinder; und er trat hin zu dem ersten und sprach: Kind, gehe heute hin, arbeite in meinem Weinberge.
29 And answering he said; Not I want to; Afterward however having repented he went.
Er aber antwortete und sprach: Ich will nicht; danach aber gereute es ihn, und er ging hin.
30 (and *k) Having come (then *no) to the (other *N+KO) he said likewise. And answering he said; I myself [will] sir; and not did he go.
Und er trat hin zu dem zweiten und sprach desgleichen. Der aber antwortete und sprach: Ich gehe, Herr, und ging nicht.
31 Which of the two did the will of the father? They say (to him: *k) The (first. *NK+O) Says to them Jesus; Amen I say to you that the tax collectors and the prostitutes go before you into the kingdom of God.
Welcher von den beiden hat den Willen des Vaters getan? Sie sagen zu ihm: Der erste. Jesus spricht zu ihnen: Wahrlich, ich sage euch, daß die Zöllner und die Huren euch vorangehen in das Reich Gottes.
32 Came for John to you in [the] way of righteousness, and not you did believe in him; however the tax collectors and the prostitutes believed in him. you yourselves then having seen (not even *N+kO) did repent afterward to believe him.
Denn Johannes kam zu euch im Wege der Gerechtigkeit, und ihr glaubtet ihm nicht; die Zöllner aber und die Huren glaubten ihm; euch aber, als ihr es sahet, gereute es danach nicht, um ihm zu glauben.
33 Another parable do hear: A man (who *k) there was a master of a house who planted a vineyard and a fence around it placed and he dug in it a winepress and he built a tower and he rented out it to farmers and he traveled abroad.
Höret ein anderes Gleichnis: Es war ein Hausherr, der einen Weinberg pflanzte und einen Zaun um denselben setzte und eine Kelter in ihm grub und einen Turm baute; und er verdingte ihn an Weingärtner [Eig. Ackerbauer; so auch v 34 usw.] und reiste außer Landes.
34 When then drew near the season of the fruits, he sent the servants of him to the farmers to receive the fruits of him.
Als aber die Zeit der Früchte nahte, sandte er seine Knechte [O. Sklaven; so auch v 35. 36;22,3 usw.] zu den Weingärtnern, um seine Früchte zu empfangen.
35 And having taken the farmers the servants of him, the one they beat, another and they killed, another and they stoned.
Und die Weingärtner nahmen seine Knechte, einen schlugen sie, einen anderen töteten sie, einen anderen steinigten sie.
36 Again he sent other servants more than the first, and they did to them likewise.
Wiederum sandte er andere Knechte, mehr als die ersten; und sie taten ihnen ebenso.
37 Afterward then he sent to them the son of him saying; They will respect the son of mine.
Zuletzt aber sandte er seinen Sohn zu ihnen, indem er sagte: Sie werden sich vor meinem Sohne scheuen!
38 But the farmers having seen the son said among themselves; This is the heir; come, let us kill him and (let us have *N+kO) the inheritance of him.
Als aber die Weingärtner den Sohn sahen, sprachen sie untereinander: Dieser ist der Erbe; kommt, laßt uns ihn töten und sein Erbe in Besitz nehmen!
39 And having taking him they cast [him] out of the vineyard and killed [him].
Und sie nahmen ihn, warfen ihn zum Weinberg hinaus und töteten ihn.
40 When therefore may come the master of the vineyard, what will he do farmers to those?
Wenn nun der Herr des Weinbergs kommt, was wird er jenen Weingärtnern tun?
41 They say to him; [The] wretches grievously He will destroy them and the vineyard he will rent out to other farmers who will give to him the fruits in the seasons of them.
Sie sagen zu ihm: Er wird jene Übeltäter übel umbringen, und den Weinberg wird er an andere Weingärtner verdingen, die ihm die Früchte abgeben werden zu ihrer Zeit. [W. ihren Zeiten]
42 Says to them Jesus; surely sometime you did read in the Scriptures: [The] stone which rejected those building, this has become the chief corner. From [the] Lord was this, and it is marvelous in [the] eyes of us?’
Jesus spricht zu ihnen: Habt ihr nie in den Schriften gelesen: "Der Stein, den die Bauleute verworfen haben, dieser ist zum Eckstein [W. Haupt der Ecke] geworden; von dem Herrn [S. die Anm. zu Kap. 1,20] ist dies geschehen, [Eig. ist er dieser geworden] und ist [O. und er ist] wunderbar in unseren Augen"? [Ps. 118,22-23]
43 Because of this I say to you that it will be taken away from you the kingdom of God and it will be given to a people producing the fruits of it.
Deswegen sage ich euch: Das Reich Gottes wird von euch weggenommen und einer Nation gegeben werden, welche dessen Früchte bringen wird.
44 And the [one] having fallen on stone this will be broken; on whomever but maybe it may fall, it will grind to powder him.
Und wer auf diesen Stein fällt, wird zerschmettert werden; aber auf welchen irgend er fallen wird, den wird er zermalmen.
45 And having heard the chief priests and the Pharisees the parables of Him they knew that about them He speaks.
Und als die Hohenpriester und die Pharisäer seine Gleichnisse gehört hatten, erkannten sie, daß er von ihnen rede.
46 And seeking Him to lay hold of they feared the crowds, (because to *N+kO) a prophet Him they were holding.
Und als sie ihn zu greifen suchten, fürchteten sie die Volksmenge, denn sie hielt ihn für einen Propheten.
