John 13
1 Before now the feast of the Passover knowing Jesus that (came *N+kO) to him hour that He may depart out of world this to the Father, having loved [his] own who [were] in the world to [the] end He loved them.

2 And supper (taking place, *N+kO) the devil already having put into the heart that he may betray Him (Judas *N+kO) [son] of Simon (Iscariot *NK+o)
A, i te mutunga o te hapa, kua whakamaharatia noatia ake ano hoki e te rewera te ngakau o Hura Ikariote, tama a Haimona, kia tukua ia;
3 knowing (Jesus *K) that all things (has given *N+kO) to Him the Father into the hands, and that from God He came forth and to God He is going,

4 He rises from the supper and lays aside the garments, And having taken a towel He girded Himself.

5 After that He pours water into the basin and He began to wash the feet of the disciples and to wipe [them] with the towel with which He was having girded himself.

6 He comes then to Simon Peter; (and *k) who says to Him (that [question]; *ko) Lord, You yourself my do wash feet?

7 Answered Jesus and said to him; What I myself do you yourself not know presently, you will know however after these things.

8 Says to Him Peter; certainly not shall You wash my feet to the age. Answered Jesus to him; only unless I shall wash you, not you have part with Me. (aiōn g165)

9 Says to Him Simon Peter; Lord, not the feet of me only but also the hands and the head.

10 Says to him Jesus; The [one] having bathed himself not has need (only *no) (except *N+KO) the feet to wash, but is clean wholly; and you yourselves clean are but not all.
Ka mea a Ihu ki a ia, Ki te mea i te kaukau tetahi, kahore atu he aha mana, ko te horoi anake i ona waewae, e ma katoa ana hoki ia: e ma ana koutou, otira kahore katoa.
11 He knew for the [one who] was betraying Him; on account of this He said (that *no) Not all clean you are.
I mohio hoki ia ki te tangata e tukua ai ia; koia ia i mea ai, kahore koutou katoa i ma.
12 When therefore He had washed the feet of them and taken the garments of Him and (he reclined *N+kO) again, He said to them; Do you know what I have done to you?

13 You yourselves call Me: Teacher and Lord, and rightly you say; I am for.

14 If therefore I myself washed your feet the Lord and the Teacher, also you yourselves ought of one another to wash the feet;

15 A pattern for I gave you, that even as I myself did to you also you yourselves may do.

16 Amen Amen I say to you; not is a servant greater than the master of him nor [is] a messenger greater than the [one who] having sent him.

17 If these things you know, blessed are you if you shall do them.

18 Not about all of you I speak; I myself know (whom *N+kO) I chose; but that the Scripture may be fulfilled: The [one] eating (with *k) (Me *N+kO) the bread lifted up against Me myself the heel of him.’
Ehara taku i te korero mo koutou katoa: e matau ana ahau ki aku i whiriwhiri ai: otira kia rite ai te karaipiture, Ko ia e kai taro tahi nei maua kua hiki ake tona rekereke ki ahau.
19 From now I am telling you before it comes to pass, so that (you may believe *NK+o) when it may happen that I myself am [He].
Na ka korerotia nei e ahau ki a koutou i te mea kahore ano i puta noa, mo te puta rawa mai, kia whakapono ai koutou, ko ahau ia.
20 Amen Amen I say to you; the [one] receiving (maybe *N+kO) any I shall send, Me myself receives; the [one] now Me myself receiving, receives the [One] having sent Me.
He pono, he pono taku e mea atu nei ki a koutou, Ki te tango tetahi ki taku e tono ai, e tango ana ia i ahau; a ki te tango tetahi i ahau, e tango ana ki toku kaitono mai.
21 These things having said Jesus was troubled in spirit and He testified and said; Amen Amen I say to you that one of you will betray Me.
A, no ka korerotia e Ihu enei mea, ka pouri tona wairua, ka korero ia, ka mea, He pono, he pono taku e mea nei ki a koutou, ma tetahi o koutou ahau e tuku.
22 Were looking (therefore *KO) upon one another the disciples, being uncertain of whom He is speaking.

23 There was (now *k) reclining one (of *no) the disciples of Him in the bosom of Jesus whom was loving Jesus;
Na i te whakawhirinaki ki te uma o Ihu tetahi o ana akonga, ko ta Ihu hoki i aroha ai.
24 Motions therefore to him Simon Peter (and says to him *o) (to ask *NK+o) who maybe (it would be *NK+o) about whom He is speaking.
Na ka tawhiri atu a Haimona Pita ki a ia, ka mea atu, Korerotia mai ki a matou, ko wai tana e korero nei.
25 (Having leaned then *N+kO) he (thus *NO) on the breast of Jesus he says to Him; Lord, who is it?
Na ka takoto atu ia ki te uma o Ihu, ka mea ki a ia, E te Ariki, ko wai koia?
26 Answers (therefore *O) Jesus; He it is to whom I myself (will dip *N+kO) the morsel (and *no) (will give *N+kO) (to him. *no) (And *k) (having dipped *N+kO) (then *NO) the morsel (He takes [it] and *NO) gives [it] to Judas [son] of Simon (Iscariot. *N+kO)
Ka whakahokia e Ihu, Ko te tangata e hoatu ai e ahau te maramara taro ki a ia, ina toua iho e haua. A, no ka toua iho e ia te maramara taro, ka hoatu ki a Hura, tama a Haimona Ikariote.
27 And after the morsel, then entered into him Satan. Says therefore to him Jesus; What you enact, do enact quicker.
A muri iho te maramara taro, ka tomo a Hatana ki roto ki a ia. Na ka mea a Ihu ki a ia, Hohoro te mea i tau e mea ai.
28 This now no [one] knew of those reclining to what He spoke to him.
Kahore ia tetahi o te hunga i taua hapa i matau mo te aha tenei i korerotia nei e ia ki a ia.
29 Some for were thinking, since the money bag had Judas, for is saying to him Jesus; do buy what things need [of] we have for the feast, or to the poor that something he may give.
I mahara etahi, no te mea i a Hura te putea, tera a Ihu te mea ra ki a ia, Hokona nga mea ma tatou mo te hakari; kia hoatu ranei tetahi mea ma nga rawakore.
30 Having received therefore the morsel he went out immediately; it was now night.
Na ka tangohia e ia te maramara taro, haere tonu atu ki waho: he po ano hoki.
31 When therefore he had gone out, says Jesus; Now has been glorified the Son of Man, and God has been glorified in Him,
No tona rironga atu ki waho, ka mea a Ihu, Katahi te Tama a te tangata ka whakakororiatia, ka whai kororia ano te Atua i a ia.
32 If God is glorified in Him also God will glorify Him in (Him[self] *N+kO) and immediately will glorify Him.

33 Little children, yet a little while with you I am. You will seek Me, and even as I said to the Jews that Where I myself go you yourselves not are able to come, also to you I say now.
E nga tamariki, poto kau nei taku noho i a koutou, Tera koutou e rapu i ahau: ko taku hoki i mea ai ki nga Hurai, E kore koutou e ahei te haere ake ki te wahi e haere ai ahau; ko taku kupu ano tena ki a koutou.
34 A commandment new I give to you that you may love one another, even as I have loved you so also you yourselves may love one another.
He ture hou taku ka hoatu nei ki a koutou, kia aroha koutou tetahi ki tetahi; kia rite ki toku aroha ki a koutou, waihoki kia aroha koutou tetahi ki tetahi.
35 By this will know all that to Me disciples you are, if love you shall have among one another.
Ma konei ka matau ai te katoa, he akonga koutou naku, me ka aroha koutou tetahi ki tetahi.
36 Says to Him Simon Peter; Lord, where go You? Answered to him Jesus; Where I go not you are able Me now to follow; you will follow however afterward (to me. *k)
Ka mea a Haimona Pita ki a ia, E te Ariki, e haere ana koe ki hea? Ka whakahokia e Ihu ki a ia, E kore koe e ahei te aru i ahau aianei ki te wahi e haere atu nei ahau; a mua ia ka aru koe i ahau.
37 Says to Him Peter; Lord, because of why not am I able You (to follow *NK+o) presently? The life of mine for You I will lay down.
Ka mea a Pita ki a ia, E te Ariki, he aha ahau te aru ai i a koe aianei nei ano? Ka tuku ahau i ahau kia mate, he whakaaro naku ki a koe.
38 (answers *N+kO) (to him *k) Jesus; The life of you for Me will you lay down? Amen Amen I say to you; certainly not [the] rooster (may crow *N+kO) until that (you will deny *N+kO) Me three times.
Ka whakahokia e Ihu ki a ia, E tuku oti koe i a koe ki te mate, he whakaaro nau ki ahau? He pono, he pono taku e mea nei ki a koe, E kore e tangi te tikaokao, kia toru ra ano au whakakahoretanga ki ahau.
