John 13
1 Before now the feast of the Passover knowing Jesus that (came *N+kO) to him hour that He may depart out of world this to the Father, having loved [his] own who [were] in the world to [the] end He loved them.
Avant la fête de Pâque, Jésus, sachant que son heure était venue de passer de ce monde au Père, et ayant aimé les siens qui étaient dans le monde, mit le comble à son amour pour eux.
2 And supper (taking place, *N+kO) the devil already having put into the heart that he may betray Him (Judas *N+kO) [son] of Simon (Iscariot *NK+o)
Pendant le souper, lorsque le diable avait déjà inspiré au cœur de Judas Iscariot, fils de Simon, le dessein de le livrer,
3 knowing (Jesus *K) that all things (has given *N+kO) to Him the Father into the hands, and that from God He came forth and to God He is going,
Jésus, qui savait que le Père avait remis toutes choses entre ses mains, qu’il était venu de Dieu, et qu’il s’en allait à Dieu,
4 He rises from the supper and lays aside the garments, And having taken a towel He girded Himself.
se leva de table, ôta ses vêtements, et prit un linge, dont il se ceignit.
5 After that He pours water into the basin and He began to wash the feet of the disciples and to wipe [them] with the towel with which He was having girded himself.
Ensuite il versa de l’eau dans un bassin, et il se mit à laver les pieds des disciples, et à les essuyer avec le linge dont il était ceint.
6 He comes then to Simon Peter; (and *k) who says to Him (that [question]; *ko) Lord, You yourself my do wash feet?
Il vint donc à Simon Pierre; et Pierre lui dit: Toi, Seigneur, tu me laves les pieds!
7 Answered Jesus and said to him; What I myself do you yourself not know presently, you will know however after these things.
Jésus lui répondit: Ce que je fais, tu ne le comprends pas maintenant, mais tu le comprendras bientôt.
8 Says to Him Peter; certainly not shall You wash my feet to the age. Answered Jesus to him; only unless I shall wash you, not you have part with Me. (aiōn g165)
Pierre lui dit: Non, jamais tu ne me laveras les pieds. Jésus lui répondit: Si je ne te lave, tu n’auras point de part avec moi. (aiōn g165)
9 Says to Him Simon Peter; Lord, not the feet of me only but also the hands and the head.
Simon Pierre lui dit: Seigneur, non seulement les pieds, mais encore les mains et la tête.
10 Says to him Jesus; The [one] having bathed himself not has need (only *no) (except *N+KO) the feet to wash, but is clean wholly; and you yourselves clean are but not all.
Jésus lui dit: Celui qui est lavé n’a besoin que de se laver les pieds pour être entièrement pur; et vous êtes purs, mais non pas tous.
11 He knew for the [one who] was betraying Him; on account of this He said (that *no) Not all clean you are.
Car il connaissait celui qui le livrait; c’est pourquoi il dit: Vous n’êtes pas tous purs.
12 When therefore He had washed the feet of them and taken the garments of Him and (he reclined *N+kO) again, He said to them; Do you know what I have done to you?
Après qu’il leur eut lavé les pieds, et qu’il eut pris ses vêtements, il se remit à table, et leur dit: Comprenez-vous ce que je vous ai fait?
13 You yourselves call Me: Teacher and Lord, and rightly you say; I am for.
Vous m’appelez Maître et Seigneur; et vous dites bien, car je le suis.
14 If therefore I myself washed your feet the Lord and the Teacher, also you yourselves ought of one another to wash the feet;
Si donc je vous ai lavé les pieds, moi, le Seigneur et le Maître, vous devez aussi vous laver les pieds les uns aux autres;
15 A pattern for I gave you, that even as I myself did to you also you yourselves may do.
car je vous ai donné un exemple, afin que vous fassiez comme je vous ai fait.
16 Amen Amen I say to you; not is a servant greater than the master of him nor [is] a messenger greater than the [one who] having sent him.
En vérité, en vérité, je vous le dis, le serviteur n’est pas plus grand que son seigneur, ni l’apôtre plus grand que celui qui l’a envoyé.
17 If these things you know, blessed are you if you shall do them.
Si vous savez ces choses, vous êtes heureux, pourvu que vous les pratiquiez.
18 Not about all of you I speak; I myself know (whom *N+kO) I chose; but that the Scripture may be fulfilled: The [one] eating (with *k) (Me *N+kO) the bread lifted up against Me myself the heel of him.’
Ce n’est pas de vous tous que je parle; je connais ceux que j’ai choisis. Mais il faut que l’Écriture s’accomplisse: Celui qui mange avec moi le pain A levé son talon contre moi.
19 From now I am telling you before it comes to pass, so that (you may believe *NK+o) when it may happen that I myself am [He].
Dès à présent je vous le dis, avant que la chose arrive, afin que, lorsqu’elle arrivera, vous croyiez à ce que je suis.
20 Amen Amen I say to you; the [one] receiving (maybe *N+kO) any I shall send, Me myself receives; the [one] now Me myself receiving, receives the [One] having sent Me.
En vérité, en vérité, je vous le dis, celui qui reçoit celui que j’aurai envoyé me reçoit, et celui qui me reçoit, reçoit celui qui m’a envoyé.
21 These things having said Jesus was troubled in spirit and He testified and said; Amen Amen I say to you that one of you will betray Me.
Ayant ainsi parlé, Jésus fut troublé en son esprit, et il dit expressément: En vérité, en vérité, je vous le dis, l’un de vous me livrera.
22 Were looking (therefore *KO) upon one another the disciples, being uncertain of whom He is speaking.
Les disciples se regardaient les uns les autres, ne sachant de qui il parlait.
23 There was (now *k) reclining one (of *no) the disciples of Him in the bosom of Jesus whom was loving Jesus;
Un des disciples, celui que Jésus aimait, était couché sur le sein de Jésus.
24 Motions therefore to him Simon Peter (and says to him *o) (to ask *NK+o) who maybe (it would be *NK+o) about whom He is speaking.
Simon Pierre lui fit signe de demander qui était celui dont parlait Jésus.
25 (Having leaned then *N+kO) he (thus *NO) on the breast of Jesus he says to Him; Lord, who is it?
Et ce disciple, s’étant penché sur la poitrine de Jésus, lui dit: Seigneur, qui est-ce?
26 Answers (therefore *O) Jesus; He it is to whom I myself (will dip *N+kO) the morsel (and *no) (will give *N+kO) (to him. *no) (And *k) (having dipped *N+kO) (then *NO) the morsel (He takes [it] and *NO) gives [it] to Judas [son] of Simon (Iscariot. *N+kO)
Jésus répondit: C’est celui à qui je donnerai le morceau trempé. Et, ayant trempé le morceau, il le donna à Judas, fils de Simon, l’Iscariot.
27 And after the morsel, then entered into him Satan. Says therefore to him Jesus; What you enact, do enact quicker.
Dès que le morceau fut donné, Satan entra dans Judas. Jésus lui dit: Ce que tu fais, fais-le promptement.
28 This now no [one] knew of those reclining to what He spoke to him.
Mais aucun de ceux qui étaient à table ne comprit pourquoi il lui disait cela;
29 Some for were thinking, since the money bag had Judas, for is saying to him Jesus; do buy what things need [of] we have for the feast, or to the poor that something he may give.
car quelques-uns pensaient que, comme Judas avait la bourse, Jésus voulait lui dire: Achète ce dont nous avons besoin pour la fête, ou qu’il lui commandait de donner quelque chose aux pauvres.
30 Having received therefore the morsel he went out immediately; it was now night.
Judas, ayant pris le morceau, se hâta de sortir. Il était nuit.
31 When therefore he had gone out, says Jesus; Now has been glorified the Son of Man, and God has been glorified in Him,
Lorsque Judas fut sorti, Jésus dit: Maintenant, le Fils de l’homme a été glorifié, et Dieu a été glorifié en lui.
32 If God is glorified in Him also God will glorify Him in (Him[self] *N+kO) and immediately will glorify Him.
Si Dieu a été glorifié en lui, Dieu aussi le glorifiera en lui-même, et il le glorifiera bientôt.
33 Little children, yet a little while with you I am. You will seek Me, and even as I said to the Jews that Where I myself go you yourselves not are able to come, also to you I say now.
Mes petits enfants, je suis pour peu de temps encore avec vous. Vous me chercherez; et, comme j’ai dit aux Juifs: Vous ne pouvez venir où je vais, je vous le dis aussi maintenant.
34 A commandment new I give to you that you may love one another, even as I have loved you so also you yourselves may love one another.
Je vous donne un commandement nouveau: Aimez-vous les uns les autres; comme je vous ai aimés, vous aussi, aimez-vous les uns les autres.
35 By this will know all that to Me disciples you are, if love you shall have among one another.
A ceci tous connaîtront que vous êtes mes disciples, si vous avez de l’amour les uns pour les autres.
36 Says to Him Simon Peter; Lord, where go You? Answered to him Jesus; Where I go not you are able Me now to follow; you will follow however afterward (to me. *k)
Simon Pierre lui dit: Seigneur, où vas-tu? Jésus répondit: Tu ne peux pas maintenant me suivre où je vais, mais tu me suivras plus tard.
37 Says to Him Peter; Lord, because of why not am I able You (to follow *NK+o) presently? The life of mine for You I will lay down.
Seigneur, lui dit Pierre, pourquoi ne puis-je pas te suivre maintenant? Je donnerai ma vie pour toi.
38 (answers *N+kO) (to him *k) Jesus; The life of you for Me will you lay down? Amen Amen I say to you; certainly not [the] rooster (may crow *N+kO) until that (you will deny *N+kO) Me three times.
Jésus répondit: Tu donneras ta vie pour moi! En vérité, en vérité, je te le dis, le coq ne chantera pas que tu ne m’aies renié trois fois.
