Acts 5
1 A man now certain Ananias named with Sapphira the wife of him sold a property
Ein Mann aber mit Namen Ananias nebst seiner Frau Sapphira verkaufte ein Gut,
2 and he kept back from the proceeds, already being aware also the wife (of him, *k) and having brought a portion certain at the feet of the apostles he laid [it].
unterschlug vom Erlös mit Vorwissen auch der Frau, und brachte einen Teil davon und legte ihn den Aposteln zu Füßen.
3 Said however Peter; Ananias, because of why has filled Satan the heart of you to lie to [for] you the Spirit Holy and to keep back (yourself *o) from the proceeds of the land?
Petrus aber sprach: Ananias, warum hat der Satan dein Herz erfüllt, den heiligen Geist zu belügen und zu unterschlagen vom Erlös aus dem Lande?
4 Surely remaining to you it was remaining And having been sold in the own authority it was? Why for did you purpose in the heart of you deed this? Not you have lied to men but to God!
Konntest du es nicht behalten als dein Eigentum, und ebenso nach dem Verkauf frei verfügen über das Deinige? Warum hast du dir das in den Sinn gesetzt? Du hast nicht Menschen belogen, sondern Gott.
5 Hearing now Ananias words these having fallen down he breathed his last. And came fear great upon all those hearing (these things; *k)
Wie aber Ananias diese Worte hörte, fiel er nieder und verschied; und große Furcht kam über alle, die es hörten.
6 Having arisen then the younger [men] covered him and having carried [him] out they buried [him].
Die jungen Männer aber standen auf, rafften ihn zusammen und trugen ihn hinaus, und begruben ihn.
7 It came to pass now about hours three afterward also the wife of him not knowing that having come to pass came in.
Nach Verfluß von etwa drei Stunden aber trat auch seine Frau ein, die von dem Vorgefallenen nichts wußte.
8 Replied then (to *no) (her *N+kO) Peter; do tell me if for so much the land you sold? And she said; Yes for so much.
Petrus aber redete sie an: sage mir, ob ihr das Land um so und so viel abgegeben habet? Sie aber sagte: ja um so viel.
9 But Peter (said *k) to her; Why [is it] for it was agreed together by you to test the Spirit of [the] Lord? Behold the feet of those having buried the husband of you [are] at the door and they will carry out you.
Petrus aber sagte zu ihr: was ist das, daß ihr zusammen ausgemacht habt, den Geist des Herrn zu versuchen? Siehe, die Füße derer, die deinen Mann begraben haben, sind an der Thüre, sie werden dich hinaustragen.
10 She fell down then immediately (at *N+kO) the feet of him and breathed her last; Having come in then the young [men] found her dead, and having carried out they buried [her] by the husband of her;
Da fiel sie sogleich zu seinen Füßen nieder und verschied. Als aber die jungen Männer eintraten, fanden sie sie tot, und trugen sie hinaus, und begruben sie bei ihrem Manne.
11 And came fear great upon all the church and upon all those hearing these things.
Und es kam große Furcht über die ganze Gemeinde und über alle, welche dieses hörten.
12 By now the hands of the apostles (were happening *N+kO) signs and wonders many among the people; And they were with one accord (all *NK+o) in the Colonnade of Solomon;
Durch die Hand der Apostel aber geschahen viele Zeichen und Wunder im Volk; und sie pflegten alle sich zu vereinigen in der Halle Salomos.
13 of the now rest no [one] was daring to join with them, but were magnifying them the people.
Von den übrigen aber wagte niemand sich ihnen anzuschließen, sondern das Volk sah an ihnen hinauf.
14 more now were added believing in the Lord, multitudes of men both and women,
Um so mehr aber wuchs die Zahl derer, die an den Herrn glaubten, Scharen von Männern und Frauen.
15 so as (even *no) (into *N+kO) the streets to bring out the sick and to put [them] on (cots *N+kO) and mats, that when is coming Peter at least at least the shadow (shall envelop *NK+o) some of them.
So daß sie die Kranken selbst auf die Straßen hinausbrachten und auf Betten und Bahren hinlegten, damit wenn Petrus käme, doch sein Schatten auf einen von ihnen fallen möge.
16 Were coming together now also the multitude from the surrounding cities (into *k) Jerusalem bringing [the] sick and [those] being tormented by spirits unclean, who were healed all.
Es strömte aber auch die Menge von den Städten der Umgegend Jerusalems zusammen, und sie brachten Kranke und solche, die von unreinen Geistern belästigt waren, die wurden alle geheilt.
17 Having risen up however the high priest and all those with him, which is being [the] sect of the Sadducees, were filled with jealousy
Der Hohepriester aber erhob sich samt seinem ganzen Anhang, das heißt der Sekte der Sadducäer, und sie wurden voll Eifersucht,
18 and they laid the hands (of them *k) on the apostles and put them in [the] jail public.
und legten Hand an die Apostel, und setzten sie in öffentliches Gefängnis.
19 An angel however of [the] Lord during (the *k) night (having opened *N+kO) the doors of the prison, having brought out then them said;
Ein Engel des Herrn aber öffnete bei Nacht die Thüren des Gefängnisses, führte sie heraus und sprach:
20 do go and having stood do speak in the temple to the people all the declarations of the life this.
gehet hin und tretet auf, und verkündet im Tempel dem Volke ohne Vorbehalt die Worte von diesem Leben.
21 Having heard now they entered at the dawn into the temple and were teaching. Having come now the high priest and those with him they called together the Council even all the Senate of the sons of Israel and sent to the prison house to bring them.
Da sie aber das hörten, giengen sie um die Morgenfrühe in den Tempel und lehrten. Der Hohepriester aber stellte sich ein mit seinem Anhang, und sie riefen das Synedrium zusammen und die ganze Aeltestenschaft der Söhne Israels, und schickten ins Gefängnis sie zu holen.
22 And having come [the] officers not did find them in the prison. having returned then they reported back
Die Diener aber, da sie hinkamen, fanden sie nicht im Gefängnis. Sie kehrten aber zurück und berichteten:
23 saying that The (indeed *k) prison house we found shut with all security and the guards (outside *K) already standing (before *N+kO) the doors, having opened [them] however inside no [one] we found.
das Gefängnis haben wir mit aller Sorgfalt verschlossen gefunden, und die Wächter an den Thüren stehend; aber da wir öffneten, haben wir drinnen niemand gefunden.
24 When now they heard words these both (the priest and the *K) captain of the temple and the chief priests were perplexed concerning them, what maybe would be this.
Wie aber der Kommandant des Tempels und die Hohenpriester diese Dinge hörten, sannen sie vergeblich darüber, was das sein solle.
25 Having come then a certain one he reported to them (saying *k) that Behold the men whom you put in the prison are in the temple already standing and teaching the people!
Es erschien aber einer, und meldete ihnen: siehe, die Männer, die ihr ins Gefängnis gesetzt, stehen im Tempel und lehren das Volk.
26 Then having gone the captain with the officers (was bringing *N+kO) them not with force, they were afraid of for the people (so that *k) lest they may be stoned.
Hierauf gieng der Kommandant mit seinen Leuten hin, und holte sie, nicht mit Gewalt, denn sie fürchteten sich vor dem Volke, sie möchten gesteinigt werden.
27 Having brought then them they set [them] in the Council. And asked them the high priest
Sie brachten sie aber vor das Synedrium, und der Hohepriester befragte sie
28 saying; (Surely *NK) by a charge we commanded you not to teach in name this. And behold you have filled Jerusalem with the teaching of you and you intend to bring upon us the blood of the man this.
also: wir haben euch doch strenge befohlen, nicht auf diesen Namen zu lehren, und siehe, ihr habt Jerusalem erfüllt mit eurer Lehre, und wollt auf uns das Blut dieses Menschen bringen.
29 Answering however Peter and the apostles said; To obey it is necessary to God rather than to men.
Petrus aber und die Apostel antworteten: man muß Gott mehr gehorchen als Menschen.
30 The God of the fathers of us raised up Jesus whom you yourselves killed having hanged [Him] on a tree;
Der Gott unserer Väter hat Jesus auferweckt, den ihr hingerichtet hattet durch Aufhängen am Holz.
31 Him God [as] Prince and Savior exalted by the right hand of Him to give repentance to Israel and forgiveness of sins.
Den hat Gott als Führer und Erlöser erhöht zu seiner Rechten, zu geben Israel Buße und Sündenvergebung.
32 And we ourselves are (of him *k) witnesses of the declarations these and also the Spirit (now *k) Holy whom has given God to those obeying Him.
Und wir sowohl sind Zeugen dieser Dinge, als auch der heilige Geist, welchen Gott gegeben denen, die ihm gehorchen.
33 And (having heard *NK+o) they felt cut up and (they were desiring *N+kO) to execute them.
Sie aber, da sie dieses hörten, ergrimmten sie und waren entschlossen sie umzubringen.
34 Having risen up however a certain [man] in the Council a Pharisee named Gamaliel, a teacher of the law honored by all the people, he commanded [them] outside for a short (while *k) the (men *N+KO) to put,
Es stand aber im Synedrium ein Pharisäer auf, mit Namen Gamaliel, ein bei allem Volk angesehener Gesetzeslehrer, hieß die Leute einen Augenblick hinausführen,
35 He said then to them; Men Israelites, do take heed to yourselves with men these what you are about to do.
und sprach zu ihnen: ihr israelitische Männer, nehmt euch in Acht bei diesen Leuten mit eurem Vorhaben.
36 Before for these days rose up Theudas affirming to be somebody himself, to whom (were joined *N+k+o) of men number (about *N+kO) four hundred; who was executed, and all as many as were persuaded by him they were dispersed and they it came to no [thing].
Denn vor diesen Tagen stand auf Theudas, der machte etwas aus sich, dem hiengen etwa vierhundert Männer an; er wurde getötet, und alle die sich zu ihm hielten, versprengt und vernichtet.
37 After this man rose up Judas the Galilean in the days of the registration and drew away people (significant number of *K) after him; And he And he perished, and all as many as were persuaded by him were scattered.
Nach ihm stand auf Judas der Galiläer, in den Tagen der Schatzung, und brachte ein Volk zum Abfall unter seiner Führung; und er gieng zu Grunde, und alle die zu ihm gehalten, wurden zerstreut.
38 And now I say to you, do withdraw from men these and (do release *N+kO) them, for if shall be from men plan this or work this, it will be overthrown;
Und für diesmal sage ich euch, lasset ab von diesen Leuten und gebt sie frei (denn wenn der Plan oder das Werk von Menschen ist, so wird es zu nichte werden;
39 if however from God it is, not (you will be able *N+kO) to overthrow (them, *N+KO) otherwise otherwise also fighting against God You shall be found.
ist es aber aus Gott, so vermöget ihr nicht sie zu vernichten) um nicht gar als Gotteswidersacher erfunden zu werden. Sie folgten ihm aber,
40 They were persuaded now by him, and having called in the apostles having beaten they commanded [them] not to speak in the name of Jesus and released (them. *k)
ließen die Apostel rufen, und mit Ruten züchtigen, und befahlen ihnen nicht auf den Namen Jesus' zu reden, und entließen sie.
41 They indeed therefore were departing rejoicing from [the] presence of the Council, that they had been counted worthy for the Name (of him *K+O) to suffer dishonor;
Da zogen sie mit Freude ab aus dem Synedrium, weil sie gewürdigt worden, um des Namens willen beschimpft zu werden.
42 Every then day in the temple and in house not they were ceasing teaching and evangelising [that] the Christ [is] Jesus.
Und sie ließen nicht ab, täglich im Tempel und zu Hause zu lehren, und die frohe Botschaft von Christus Jesus zu verkünden.
