2 John 1
1 The elder To [the] elect lady and to the children of her whom I myself love in truth, and not I myself only, but also all those already knowing the truth —
Ο πρεσβύτερος προς την εκλεκτήν κυρίαν και προς τα τέκνα αυτής, τους οποίους εγώ αγαπώ εν αληθεία, και ουχί εγώ μόνος, αλλά και πάντες οι γνωρίσαντες την αλήθειαν,
διά την αλήθειαν, ήτις μένει εν ημίν και θέλει είσθαι μεθ' ημών εις τον αιώνα· (aiōn g165)
3 Will be with us grace mercy [and] peace from God [the] Father and from (Lord *K) Jesus Christ the Son of the Father in truth and love.
είη μεθ' υμών χάρις, έλεος, ειρήνη παρά Θεού Πατρός και παρά Κυρίου Ιησού Χριστού του Υιού του Πατρός, εν αληθεία και αγάπη.
4 I rejoiced exceedingly that I have found [some] of the children of you walking in truth even as commandment we received from the Father.
Εχάρην κατά πολλά ότι εύρηκα εκ των τέκνων σου τινάς περιπατούντας εν τη αληθεία, καθώς εντολήν ελάβομεν παρά του Πατρός.
5 And now I implore you, lady, not as a commandment new I am writing to you but that which we have had from [the] beginning, that we may love one another.
Και τώρα σε παρακαλώ, κυρία, ουχί ως γράφων προς σε εντολήν νέαν, αλλ' εκείνην την οποίαν είχομεν απ' αρχής, να αγαπώμεν αλλήλους.
6 And this is love that we may walk according to the commandments of Him. This the commandment is even as you have heard from [the] beginning, so that in it you may walk;
Και αύτη είναι η αγάπη, να περιπατώμεν κατά τας εντολάς αυτού. Αύτη είναι η εντολή, καθώς ηκούσατε απ' αρχής, να περιπατήτε εις αυτήν.
7 For many deceivers (have gone out *N+KO) into the world, those not confessing Jesus Christ coming in flesh; This is the deceiver and the antichrist.
Διότι πολλοί πλάνοι εισήλθον εις τον κόσμον, οίτινες δεν ομολογούσιν ότι ο Ιησούς Χριστός ήλθεν εν σαρκί· ο τοιούτος είναι ο πλάνος και ο αντίχριστος.
8 do watch yourselves so that not (you may lose *N+KO) what things (we have worked for, *NK+O) but a reward full (you may receive. *N+KO)
Προσέχετε εις εαυτούς, διά να μη χάσωμεν εκείνα, τα οποία ειργάσθημεν, αλλά να απολάβωμεν πλήρη τον μισθόν.
9 Anyone who (is progressing *N+KO) and not abiding in the teaching of Christ God not has; The [one] abiding in the teaching (of the Christ *K) this [one] both the Father and the Son has.
Πας όστις παραβαίνει και δεν μένει εν τη διδαχή του Χριστού Θεόν δεν έχει· ο μένων εν τη διδαχή του Χριστού, ούτος έχει και τον Πατέρα και τον Υιόν.
10 If anyone comes to you and this teaching not does bring, not do receive him into [the] house, and to greet him not do tell;
Εάν τις έρχηται προς εσάς και δεν φέρη την διδαχήν ταύτην, μη δέχεσθε αυτόν εις οικίαν και μη λέγετε εις αυτόν το χαίρειν·
11 the [one] telling for him to rejoice partakes in the works of him evil.
διότι ο λέγων εις αυτόν το χαίρειν γίνεται κοινωνός εις τα πονηρά αυτού έργα.
12 Many things having to you to write not I purposed with paper and ink; but I hope (to come *N+kO) to you and mouth to mouth to speak so that the joy (of us *NK+O) completed may be.
Αν και είχον πολλά να σας γράψω, δεν ηθέλησα διά χάρτου και μελάνης, αλλ' ελπίζω να έλθω προς εσάς και να λαλήσω στόμα προς στόμα, διά να ήναι πλήρης η χαρά ημών.
13 Greet you the children of the sister of you elect (Amen. *KO)
Σε ασπάζονται τα τέκνα της αδελφής σου της εκλεκτής· αμήν.
