1 Corinthians 11
1 Imitators of me do be even as I myself also [am] I myself also [am] of Christ.
Soyez mes imitateurs, comme je le suis moi-même de Christ.
2 I commend now you (brothers *k) that in all things me you have remembered, and even as I delivered to you the teachings you are keeping.
Je vous loue de ce que vous vous souvenez de moi à tous égards, et de ce que vous retenez mes instructions telles que je vous les ai données.
3 I want however you to know that of every man the head Christ is, [the] head now of [the] woman [is] the man; [the] head now of Christ God.
Je veux cependant que vous sachiez que Christ est le chef de tout homme, que l’homme est le chef de la femme, et que Dieu est le chef de Christ.
4 Every man praying or prophesying [anything] on [his] head having he dishonors the head of him.
Tout homme qui prie ou qui prophétise, la tête couverte, déshonore son chef.
5 Every now woman praying or prophesying uncovered with the head dishonors the head (of her; *N+kO) one for it is and the same with which shaven.
Toute femme, au contraire, qui prie ou qui prophétise, la tête non voilée, déshonore son chef: c’est comme si elle était rasée.
6 If for not covers her head a woman, also she should be shorn; If [it is] now disgraceful to a woman to be shorn or to be shaven, she should cover her head.
Car si une femme n’est pas voilée, qu’elle se coupe aussi les cheveux. Or, s’il est honteux pour une femme d’avoir les cheveux coupés ou d’être rasée, qu’elle se voile.
7 A man indeed for not ought to cover the head image and glory of God being; (the *no) woman however [the] glory of man is;
L’homme ne doit pas se couvrir la tête, puisqu’il est l’image et la gloire de Dieu, tandis que la femme est la gloire de l’homme.
8 Not for is man of woman but woman of man;
En effet, l’homme n’a pas été tiré de la femme, mais la femme a été tirée de l’homme;
9 Truly for not was created man on account of the woman but woman on account of the man;
et l’homme n’a pas été créé à cause de la femme, mais la femme a été créée à cause de l’homme.
10 Because of this ought the woman authority to have on the head on account of the angels.
C’est pourquoi la femme, à cause des anges, doit avoir sur la tête une marque de l’autorité dont elle dépend.
11 However neither [is] woman without man nor man without woman in [the] Lord;
Toutefois, dans le Seigneur, la femme n’est point sans l’homme, ni l’homme sans la femme.
12 Just as for the woman of the man [is] so also the man through the woman [is], the however all things of God.
Car, de même que la femme a été tirée de l’homme, de même l’homme existe par la femme, et tout vient de Dieu.
13 In you yourselves do judge: Becoming is it for a woman revealed to God to pray?
Jugez-en vous-mêmes: est-il convenable qu’une femme prie Dieu sans être voilée?
14 (or *K) Not even nature itself does teach you that a man indeed if he shall have long hair, a dishonor to him it is,
La nature elle-même ne vous enseigne-t-elle pas que c’est une honte pour l’homme de porter de longs cheveux,
15 a woman however if she shall have long hair, glory to her it is? For the long hair instead of a covering has been given to her;
mais que c’est une gloire pour la femme d’en porter, parce que la chevelure lui a été donnée comme voile?
16 If now anyone is inclined contentious to be, we ourselves such custom no [other] have nor the churches of God.
Si quelqu’un se plaît à contester, nous n’avons pas cette habitude, non plus que les Églises de Dieu.
17 In this now (instructing *NK+o) not I do praise because not for the better but for the (worse *N+kO) you come together.
En donnant cet avertissement, ce que je ne loue point, c’est que vous vous assemblez, non pour devenir meilleurs, mais pour devenir pires.
18 First indeed for coming together you in an assembly I hear divisions among you there to be, and in part it I believe;
Et d’abord, j’apprends que, lorsque vous vous réunissez en assemblée, il y a parmi vous des divisions, et je le crois en partie,
19 It behooves for also factions among you there to be, so that (also *no) the approved evident may become among you.
car il faut qu’il y ait aussi des sectes parmi vous, afin que ceux qui sont approuvés soient reconnus comme tels au milieu de vous.
20 Coming therefore of you together in one place not it is [the] Lord’s supper to eat;
Lors donc que vous vous réunissez, ce n’est pas pour manger le repas du Seigneur;
21 One for [their] own supper takes first in eating, and this [one] indeed is hungry, that [one] however is drunken.
car, quand on se met à table, chacun commence par prendre son propre repas, et l’un a faim, tandis que l’autre est ivre.
22 Surely not indeed houses surely you have in which to eat and to drink? Or the church of God do you despise and put to shame those nothing having? What shall I say to you shall I praise you in this? Not I praise [you]!
N’avez-vous pas des maisons pour y manger et boire? Ou méprisez-vous l’Église de Dieu, et faites-vous honte à ceux qui n’ont rien? Que vous dirai-je? Vous louerai-je? En cela je ne vous loue point.
23 I myself for received from the Lord that which also I delivered to you that the Lord Jesus in the night in which He was betrayed took bread,
Car j’ai reçu du Seigneur ce que je vous ai enseigné; c’est que le Seigneur Jésus, dans la nuit où il fut livré, prit du pain,
24 and having given thanks He broke [it] and said (do take *KO) (do eat: *K) This of Me is the body which [is] for you (being broken; *K) this do perform in of Me remembrance.
et, après avoir rendu grâces, le rompit, et dit: Ceci est mon corps, qui est rompu pour vous; faites ceci en mémoire de moi.
25 Likewise also the cup after having supped saying; This cup the new covenant is in My blood; this do perform, as often as (when *N+kO) you shall drink [it], in of Me remembrance.
De même, après avoir soupé, il prit la coupe, et dit: Cette coupe est la nouvelle alliance en mon sang; faites ceci en mémoire de moi toutes les fois que vous en boirez.
26 As often as for (when *N+kO) you shall eat bread this and cup (this *K) may drink, the death of the Lord you proclaim until that (when *k) He may come.
Car toutes les fois que vous mangez ce pain et que vous buvez cette coupe, vous annoncez la mort du Seigneur, jusqu’à ce qu’il vienne.
27 Therefore who[ever] maybe may eat bread (this *K) or may drink the cup of the Lord unworthily (of the-Lord *O) guilty will be of the body and of the blood of the Lord.
C’est pourquoi celui qui mangera le pain ou boira la coupe du Seigneur indignement, sera coupable envers le corps et le sang du Seigneur.
28 should examine however a man himself, and in this manner of the bread he should eat and of the cup he should drink;
Que chacun donc s’éprouve soi-même, et qu’ainsi il mange du pain et boive de la coupe;
29 The [one] for eating and drinking (unworthily *K) judgment on himself he eats and he drinks not discerning the body (of the *k) (Lord. *K)
car celui qui mange et boit sans discerner le corps du Seigneur, mange et boit un jugement contre lui-même.
30 Because of this among you many [are] weak and sick, and are fallen asleep many.
C’est pour cela qu’il y a parmi vous beaucoup d’infirmes et de malades, et qu’un grand nombre sont morts.
31 If (for *N+kO) ourselves we were judging, not then would we were come under judgment;
Si nous nous jugions nous-mêmes, nous ne serions pas jugés.
32 Being judged however by (the *no) Lord we are disciplined, so that not with the world we may be condemned.
Mais quand nous sommes jugés, nous sommes châtiés par le Seigneur, afin que nous ne soyons pas condamnés avec le monde.
33 So then, brothers of mine, coming together in order to eat one another do wait for;
Ainsi, mes frères, lorsque vous vous réunissez pour le repas, attendez-vous les uns les autres.
34 If (now *k) anyone is hungry, at home he should eat, so that not for judgment you may come together. And the other things as soon as when I may come I will set in order.
Si quelqu’un a faim, qu’il mange chez lui, afin que vous ne vous réunissiez pas pour attirer un jugement sur vous. Je réglerai les autres choses quand je serai arrivé.
