Titus 2

1 But do, thou, speak the things which become the healthful instruction: —

F’ihe, Taroño ze mañeva atao enta-mahity,

2 That, aged men, be, sober, grave, sober-minded, healthy in their faith, love, endurance;

hahapendreñe o androanavio ho vañoñe, hilie-batañe, higahiñe am-patokisañe, an-koko naho am-pahaliñisañe;

3 Aged women, in the same way, in deportment, as becometh sacred persons, not given to intrigue, nor yet, to much wine, enslaved, teachers of virtue, —

manahake zay o rakemba beio, t’ie ho vañon-dia mpañeveñe aman-Kake, tsy mpikanifoke, tsy ondevozen-divay, fa mpañoke havañonañe;

4 That they may constrain the young women to be, lovers of their husbands, lovers of their children,

mpanoro o ampelao ho hendre, mpikoko valy naho mpitea anake;

5 soberminded, chaste, workers at home, good, submitting themselves to their own husbands, —that, the word of God, be not defamed;

ie mahalie-troke, tsy aman-kila, mahay mañalahala anjomba, matarike, mpiandaly ami’ty vali’e; soa tsy honjirañe ty tsaran’ Añahare.

6 The younger men, in the same way, exhort thou to be sober-minded:

Osiho ka o ajalahio te hilie-batañe.

7 In all things, shewing, thyself, an ensample of noble works, —in thine instruction, uncorruptness, gravity,

Le an-tsata’o iaby, mañaveloa ho fitsikombeam-pitoloñan-tsoa, ho mpañoke vantañe vaho migahiñe,

8 healthful discourse that cannot be condemned, in order that, he that is of the contrary part, may relent, having nothing to say concerning us that is disparaging:

añ’enta mifehe, tsy itiñeañe, hanalarañe ty mandietse, tsy hinjeañe.

9 Servants, unto their own masters, to be submitting themselves in all things, to be, well-pleasing, not gainsaying,

Osiho ondevoo hiambàne amo tompo’eo, hampifalea’e an-tsata’e iaby, vaho tsy hanointoiñe;

10 not taking anything away, shewing, all good faith, —that, the instruction which is of our Saviour God, they may adorn in all things.

tsy hampikametse, te mone hitoloñe am-patokisañe do’e, soa te ho bangoe’e amy ze he’e ty fañòhan’ Añahare Mpandrombake antikañe.

11 For the favour of God, bringing salvation for all men, hath shone forth,

Fa niboake ty hasoan’ Añahare minday fandrombahañe ho a ze kila ondaty,

12 Putting us under discipline—in order that, —denying ourselves of ungodliness and worldly covetings, in a soberminded and righteous and godly manner, we should live, in the present age, (aiōn g165)

mañoke antika halaiñe ty hatsi-an-Kake naho o hadrao’ ty voatse toio; naho ty hilie-batañe an-kavañonañe, vaho hañori-Kake ami’ty sà toy, (aiōn g165)

13 Prepared to welcome the happy hope and forthshining of the glory of the great God and our Saviour Christ Jesus, —

ie liñisantika i fitamàñe andriañañey—i fiboaham-bolonahen’ Añahare jabahinakey, Iesoà Mpandrombake Norizañey,

14 Who gave himself up in our behalf, that he might redeem us from all manner of lawlessness, and purify for himself a people as his own treasure—zealous of noble works.

15 As to these things, be speaking and exhorting and reproving, with all manner of precept: let, no one, disregard thee!
