< John 8 >

1 Jesus went unto the mount of Olives.
Yesu aboi mu'kitombe sa Mizeituni.
2 And early in the morning he came again into the temple, and all the people came unto him; and he sat down, and taught them.
3 And the scribes and Pharisees brought unto him a woman taken in adultery; and when they had set her in the midst,
Kabamweka nkati yabe.
4 They say unto him, Master, this woman was taken in adultery, in the very act.
Nga kabammakiya Yesu, “Mwalimu, nnwawa yolo atabilwe mu'umalaya, paabile apanga umalaya.
5 Now Moses in the law commanded us, that such should be stoned: but what say you?
Nambeambe, mu'saliya ya Musa atituamuru kuwapondanga maliwe bandu kati aba, ubaya namani nnani yake?
6 This they said, tempting him, that they might have to accuse him. But Jesus stooped down, and with his finger wrote on the ground, as though he heard them not.
7 So when they continued asking him, he lifted up himself, and said unto them, He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her.
8 And again he stooped down, and wrote on the ground.
Ainamite kae pae, atiandika mu'dunia kwa kidole chake.
9 And they which heard it, being convicted by their own conscience, went out one by one, beginning at the eldest, even unto the last: and Jesus was left alone, and the woman standing in the midst.
Kabayowine ago, batiboka yumo baada ya ywenge, kuanzia ywabile mpindo. Mwisho Yesu alekilwe kichake, pamope ni yolo nnwawa ywabile nkati yabe.
10 When Jesus had lifted up himself, and saw none but the woman, he said unto her, Woman, where are those your accusers? has no man condemned you?
Yesu ayemite ni kummakiya “Nnwawa, balo bakushitakiya babile kwaako? Ntopo hata yumo ywakuhukumu?
11 She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn you: go, and sin no more.
Kabaya, “Ntopo hata yumo Ngwana.” Yesu kabaya, “Hata nenga nalowa kukuhukumu kwaa, uyende mundela yako; kuanzia nambeambino ni kuyendelea kana upange sambi kae.”
12 Then spoke Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that follows me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.
13 The Pharisees therefore said unto him, You bear record of yourself; your record is not true.
Mafarisayo kabammakiya, “Wajishuhudia wa mwene, ushuhuda wako nga wa kweli kwaa.”
14 Jesus answered and said unto them, Though I bear record of myself, yet my record is true: for I know whence I came, and where I go; but all of you cannot tell whence I come, and where I go.
Y6esu kaayangwa ni kuwamakiya, “Hata kati nalowa kujishuhudia mwene, ushuhuda wango ni kweli. Nitangite pandu nibokite ni kolyo kaniyenda, lakin i mwenga mutangite kwaa pandu nibokite au kolyo kaniyenda.
15 All of you judge after the flesh; I judge no man.
Mwenga mwatihukumu mu'yega; nenga nahukumu kwaa yeyote.
16 And yet if I judge, my judgment is true: for I am not alone, but I and the Father that sent me.
17 It is also written in your law, that the testimony of two men is true.
18 I am one that bear witness of myself, and the Father that sent me bears witness of me.
Nenga nga nishuhudiae, ni Tate ywanitumile atikunshuhudia.”
19 Then said they unto him, Where is your Father? Jesus answered, All of you neither know me, nor my Father: if all of you had known me, all of you should have known my Father also.
Bakammakiya, “Tate bako abile kwaako?” Yesu kayangwa, “Nenga mwanitangite kwaa nenga, mana munitangike nenga, mwalowa kuntanga ni Tate bango kae.”
20 These words (rhema) spoke Jesus in the treasury, as he taught in the temple: and no man laid hands on him; for his hour was not yet come.
21 Then said Jesus again unto them, I go my way, and all of you shall seek me, and shall die in your sins: where I go, all of you cannot come.
Bai kammakiya kae, “Niyenda zangu; mwalowa kunipala na mwatiwaa mu'sambi yinu. Kolyo kwaniyenda, mwaweza kwaa kuisa.”
22 Then said the Jews, Will he kill himself? because he says, Where I go, all of you cannot come.
Ayahudi kababaya, “Alowa tanga mwene, ywembe ywabile akibaya,'kolyo kaniyenda muweza kwaa kuisa'?”
23 And he said unto them, All of you are from beneath; I am from above: all of you are of this world; I am not of this world.
Yesu kaamakiya, “Mwaboka pae, nenga niboka kunani.
24 I said therefore unto you, that all of you shall die in your sins: for if all of you believe not that I am he, all of you shall die in your sins.
25 Then said they unto him, Who are you? And Jesus says unto them, Even the same that I said unto you from the beginning.
Kwa eyo kabammakiya, “Wenga wa nyai?” Yesu kaamakiya, galo ganiabakiya tangu mwanzo.
26 I have many things to say and to judge of you: but he that sent me is true; and I speak to the world those things which I have heard of him.
27 They understood not that he spoke to them of the Father.
Kabamwelewa kwaa kuwa abile kalongela nabo kuhusu Tate.
28 Then said Jesus unto them, When all of you have lifted up the Son of man, then shall all of you know that I am he, and that I do nothing of myself; but as my Father has taught me, I speak these things.
29 And he that sent me is with me: the Father has not left me alone; for I do always those things that please him.
Ywembe ywanitumile abile pamope ni ywembe, na ywembe anilekite kichango, kwani kila mara napanga galo gabampendeza.”
30 As he spoke these words, many believed on him.
Palyo Yesu abaya makowe aga, baingi batikumwaminiya.
31 Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If all of you continue in my word, (logos) then are all of you my disciples indeed;
Yesu kabaya kwa balo Ayahudi baaminiye, “Mana ibile mwatama mu'neno lyango, nga mubile anapunzi bango kweli,
32 And all of you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.
mwenga mwalowa kuitanga kweli, ni kweli yalowa kwabeka huru.”
33 They answered him, We be Abraham's seed, and were never in bondage to any man: how say you, All of you shall be made free?
34 Jesus answered them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whosoever commits sin is the servant of sin.
35 And the servant abides not in the house for ever: but the Son abides ever. (aiōn g165)
Mmanda atama kwaa munyumba wakati wote; mwana hudumu masoba yote. (aiōn g165)
36 If the Son therefore shall make you free, all of you shall be free indeed.
Kwa eyo, mana itei Mwana abekilwe huru, mwalowa pangika huru kweli kabisa.”
37 I know that all of you are Abraham's seed; but all of you seek to kill me, because my word (logos) has no place in you.
38 I speak that which I have seen with my Father: and all of you do that which all of you have seen with your father.
39 They answered and said unto him, Abraham is our father. Jesus says unto them, If all of you were Abraham's children, all of you would do the works of Abraham.
40 But now all of you seek to kill me, a man that has told you the truth, which I have heard of God: this did not Abraham.
Abrahamu apangite kwaa ayee.”
41 All of you do the deeds of your father. Then said they to him, We be not born of fornication; we have one Father, even God.
Mwapanga kazi ya tate yinu.”Kabammakiya, Tubelekwile kwaa mu'umalaya, tubile ni Tate yumo Nnongo.”
42 Jesus said unto them, If God were your Father, all of you would love me: for I proceeded forth and came from God; neither came I of myself, but he sent me.
Yesu kammakiya, “Mana itei Nnongo nga Tate yinu, mnipendile nenga, kwa maana niboite kwa Nnongo; wala niisile kwaa kwa nafsi yango, ila ywembe ywanitumile.
43 Why do all of you not understand my speech? even because all of you cannot hear my word. (logos)
Kwa namani mwelewa kwaa maneno yango? Kwa sababu muweza kwaa vumiliya kugayowa maneno yango.
44 All of you are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father all of you will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.
45 And because I tell you the truth, all of you believe me not.
Nambeambe, kwa sababu nibayile yaibile kweli, muniamini kwaa.
46 Which of you convinces me of sin? And if I say the truth, why do all of you not believe me?
47 He that is of God hears God's words: (rhema) all of you therefore hear them not, because all of you are not of God.
48 Then answered the Jews, and said unto him, Say we not well that you are a Samaritan, and have a devil?
49 Jesus answered, I have not a devil; but I honour my Father, and all of you do dishonour me.
50 And I seek not mine own glory: there is one that seeks and judges.
Nipala kwaa utukufu wango; kwabile yumo ywapala ni hukumu.
51 Verily, verily, I say unto you, If a man keep my saying, (logos) he shall never see death. (aiōn g165)
Amini, amini, nakubakiya, ywabile yeyote ywalikamua neno lyango, akibweni kwaa kiwo kamwe.” (aiōn g165)
52 Then said the Jews unto him, Now we know that you have a devil. Abraham is dead, and the prophets; and you say, If a man keep my saying, (logos) he shall never taste of death.
53 Are you greater than our father Abraham, which is dead? and the prophets are dead: whom make you yourself?
Wenga nkolo kwaa kuliko tate bitu Abrahamu ywati waa? Manabii pia bawile. Wenga ujipanga kuwa wa nyai?”
54 Jesus answered, If I honour myself, my honour is nothing: it is my Father that honors me; of whom all of you say, that he is your God:
55 Yet all of you have not known him; but I know him: and if I should say, I know him not, I shall be a liar like unto you: but I know him, and keep his saying. (logos)
Mwenga mwamyowa kwaa ywembe, lakini nenga namyowa ywembe. Mana itei nibayite,'nimtangite kwaa,' nalowa pangilwa kati mwenga, nambocho. Hata nyoo, nimtangite na maneno yake nigakamwile.
56 Your father Abraham rejoiced to see my day: and he saw it, and was glad.
Tate yinu Ibrahimu atishangilia yatikulibona lisoba lyango, aibweni na atipulaika.”
57 Then said the Jews unto him, You are not yet fifty years old, and have you seen Abraham?
58 Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am.
Yesu kammakiya, “Amini, amini, nakumakiya, kabla Abrahamu abelekwile kwaa. NENGA NIBILE.”
59 Then took they up stones to cast at him: but Jesus hid himself, and went out of the temple, going through the midst of them, and so passed by.
