Hebrews 1
1 God, who at several times and in divers manners spoke in time past unto the fathers by the prophets,
Dios que en los tiempos antiguos habló a los padres en muchas ocasiones y de muchas maneras por los profetas,
2 Has in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he has appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds; (aiōn g165)
en los últimos días nos ha hablado a nosotros en su Hijo, a quien ha constituido heredero de todo y por quien también hizo las edades; (aiōn g165)
3 Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word (rhema) of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high:
el cual es el resplandor de su gloria y la impronta de su substancia, y sustentando todas las cosas con la palabra de su poder, después de hacer la purificación de los pecados se ha sentado a la diestra de la Majestad en las alturas,
4 Being made so much better than the angels, as he has by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they.
llegado a ser tanto superior a los ángeles cuanto el nombre que heredó es más eminente que el de ellos.
5 For unto which of the angels said he at any time, You are my Son, this day have I begotten you? And again, I will be to him a Father, and he shall be to me a Son?
Pues ¿a cuál de los ángeles dijo ( Dios ) alguna vez: “Hijo mío eres Tú, hoy te he engendrado”; y también: “Yo seré su Padre, y Él será mi Hijo”?
6 And again, when he brings in the First-Born into the world, he says, And let all the angels of God worship him.
Y al introducir de nuevo al Primogénito en el mundo dice: “Y adórenlo todos los ángeles de Dios”.
7 And of the angels he says, Who makes his angels spirits, (pneuma) and his ministers a flame of fire.
Respecto de los ángeles ( solo ) dice: “El que hace de sus ángeles vientos y de sus ministros llamas de fuego”.
8 But unto the Son he says, Your throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of your kingdom. (aiōn g165)
Mas al Hijo le dice: “Tu trono, oh Dios, por el siglo del siglo; y cetro de rectitud el cetro de tu reino. (aiōn g165)
9 You have loved righteousness, and hated iniquity; therefore God, even your God, has anointed you with the oil of gladness above your fellows.
Amaste la justicia y aborreciste la iniquidad; por eso te ungió, oh Dios, el Dios tuyo con óleo de alegría más que a tus copartícipes”.
10 And, You, Lord, in the beginning have laid the foundation of the earth; and the heavens are the works of your hands:
Y también: “Tú, Señor, en el principio fundaste la tierra, y obra de tu mano son los cielos;
11 They shall perish; but you remain; and they all shall wax old as does a garment;
ellos perecerán, mas Tú permaneces; y todos ellos envejecerán como un vestido;
12 And as a vesture shall you fold them up, and they shall be changed: but you are the same, and your years shall not fail.
los arrollarás como un manto, como una capa serán mudados. Tú empero eres el mismo y tus años no se acabarán”.
13 But to which of the angels said he at any time, Sit on my right hand, until I make your enemies your footstool?
Y ¿a cuál de los ángeles ha dicho jamás: “Siéntate a mi diestra hasta que Yo ponga a tus enemigos por escabel de tus pies”?
14 Are they not all ministering spirits, (pneuma) sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation?
¿No son todos ellos espíritus servidores, enviados para servicio a favor de los que han de heredar la salvación?
