Psalms 61

1 For the Leader; with string-music. A Psalm of David. Hear my cry, O God; attend unto my prayer.

Al maestro de coro. Para instrumentos de cuerda. De David. Escucha, oh Dios, mi grito, atiende a mi oración.

2 From the end of the earth will I call unto Thee, when my heart fainteth; lead me to a rock that is too high for me.

Desde los confines de la tierra clamo a Ti, con el corazón desfallecido; Tú me alzarás hasta la roca, me darás el reposo.

3 For Thou hast been a refuge for me, a tower of strength in the face of the enemy.

Porque eres mi refugio, la fuerte torre contra el enemigo.

4 I will dwell in Thy Tent for ever; I will take refuge in the covert of Thy wings. (Selah)

Habite yo para siempre en tu tabernáculo y encuentre abrigo a la sombra de tus alas.

5 For Thou, O God, hast heard my vows; Thou hast granted the heritage of those that fear Thy name.

Oíste mis votos, oh Dios, y me has dado la herencia de los que temen tu Nombre.

6 Mayest Thou add days unto the king's days! May his years be as many generations!

Añade días a los días del rey; sean iguales sus años a la multitud de generaciones.

7 May he be enthroned before God for ever! Appoint mercy and truth, that they may preserve him.

Reine eternamente delante de Dios; que tu misericordia y tu fidelidad lo conserven.

8 So will I sing praise unto Thy name for ever, that I may daily perform my vows.

Así cantaré tu Nombre para siempre, y cumpliré mis votos cada día.
