Romans 8
1 Now then there is no condemnation to them that are in Christ Iesus, which walke not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
Assim que agora nenhuma condemnação ha para os que estão em Christo Jesus, que não andam segundo a carne, mas segundo o espirito.
2 For the Lawe of the Spirite of life, which is in Christ Iesus, hath freed mee from the lawe of sinne and of death.
Porque a lei do espirito de vida, em Christo Jesus, me livrou da lei do peccado e da morte.
3 For (that that was impossible to ye Lawe, in as much as it was weake, because of ye flesh) God sending his owne Sonne, in ye similitude of sinful flesh, and for sinne, condened sinne in the flesh,
Porque o que era impossivel á lei, porquanto estava enferma pela carne, Deus, enviando o seu Filho em similhança da carne do peccado, e pelo peccado, condemnou o peccado na carne;
4 That that righteousnes of the Law might be fulfilled in vs, which walke not after ye flesh, but after the Spirit.
Para que a justiça da lei se cumprisse em nós, que não andamos segundo a carne, mas segundo o espirito.
5 For they that are after the flesh, sauour the things of the flesh: but they that are after the Spirit, the things of the Spirit.
Porque os que são segundo a carne inclinam-se para as coisas da carne; mas os que são segundo o espirito para as coisas do espirito.
6 For the wisedome of the flesh is death: but the wisedome of the Spirit is life and peace,
Porque a inclinação da carne é morte; mas a inclinação do espirito é vida e paz
7 Because the wisedome of the flesh is enimitie against God: for it is not subiect to the Lawe of God, neither in deede can be.
Porquanto a inclinação da carne é inimizade contra Deus, pois não é sujeita á lei de Deus, nem em verdade, o pode ser.
8 So then they that are in the flesh, can not please God.
Portanto os que estão na carne não podem agradar a Deus.
9 Now ye are not in the flesh, but in ye Spirit, because ye spirit of God dwelleth in you: but if any man hath not ye Spirit of Christ, ye same is not his.
Porém vós não estaes na carne, mas no espirito, se é que o Espirito de Deus habita em vós. Mas, se alguem não tem o Espirito de Christo, esse tal não é d'elle.
10 And if Christ bee in you, the body is dead, because of sinne: but the Spirite is life for righteousnesse sake.
E, se Christo está em vós, o corpo, na verdade, está morto por causa do peccado, mas o espirito vive por causa da justiça.
11 But if the Spirit of him that raised vp Iesus from the dead, dwell in you, he that raised vp Christ from the dead, shall also quicken your mortall bodies, by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.
E, se o Espirito d'aquelle que dos mortos resuscitou a Jesus habita em vós, aquelle que dos mortos resuscitou a Christo tambem vivificará os vossos corpos mortaes, pelo seu Espirito que em vós habita.
12 Therefore brethren, wee are detters not to the flesh, to liue after the flesh:
De maneira que, irmãos, somos devedores, não á carne para viver segundo a carne.
13 For if ye liue after the flesh, ye shall die: but if yee mortifie the deedes of the body by the Spirit, ye shall liue.
Porque, se viverdes segundo a carne, morrereis; mas, se pelo espirito mortificardes as obras do corpo, vivereis.
14 For as many as are ledde by the Spirit of God, they are the sonnes of God.
Porque todos quantos são guiados pelo Espirito de Deus esses são filhos de Deus.
15 For ye haue not receiued the Spirit of bodage, to feare againe: but ye haue receiued the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry Abba, Father.
Porque não recebestes o espirito de escravidão, para outra vez estardes em temor, porém recebestes o espirito de adopção de filhos, pelo qual clamamos: Abba, Pae.
16 The same Spirit beareth witnesse with our spirit, that we are the children of God.
O mesmo Espirito testifica com o nosso espirito que somos filhos de Deus.
17 If we be children, we are also heires, euen the heires of God, and heires annexed with Christ: if so be that we suffer with him, that we may also be glorified with him.
E, se nós somos filhos, somos logo herdeiros tambem, herdeiros de Deus e coherdeiros de Christo; se porventura com elle padecemos, para que tambem com elle sejamos glorificados.
18 For I count that the afflictions of this present time are not worthy of the glory, which shalbe shewed vnto vs.
Porque para mim tenho por certo que as afflicções d'este tempo presente não são para comparar com a gloria que em nós ha de ser revelada.
19 For the feruent desire of the creature waiteth when the sonnes of God shalbe reueiled,
Porque a paciente expectação da creatura espera a manifestação dos filhos de Deus.
20 Because the creature is subiect to vanitie, not of it owne will, but by reason of him, which hath subdued it vnder hope,
Porque a creatura está sujeita á vaidade, não por sua vontade, mas por causa do que a sujeitou,
21 Because the creature also shall be deliuered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious libertie of the sonnes of God.
Na esperança de que tambem a mesma creatura será libertada da servidão da corrupção, para a liberdade da gloria dos filhos de Deus
22 For we knowe that euery creature groneth with vs also, and trauaileth in paine together vnto this present.
Porque sabemos que toda a creatura juntamente geme e está com dôres de parto até agora.
23 And not onely the creature, but we also which haue the first fruites of the Spirit, euen we doe sigh in our selues, waiting for the adoption, euen the redemption of our body.
E não só ella, porém nós mesmos, que temos as primicias do Espirito, tambem gememos em nós mesmos, esperando a adopção, a saber, a redempção do nosso corpo.
24 For we are saued by hope: but hope that is seene, is not hope: for how can a man hope for that which he seeth?
Porque em esperança somos salvos. Ora a esperança que se vê não é esperança; porque o que alguem vê como o esperará?
25 But if we hope for that we see not, we doe with patience abide for it.
Mas, se esperamos o que não vemos, esperamol-o compaciencia.
26 Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we knowe not what to pray as wee ought: but the Spirit it selfe maketh request for vs with sighs, which cannot be expressed.
E da mesma maneira tambem o Espirito ajuda as nossas fraquezas; porque não sabemos o que havemos de pedir como convem, mas o mesmo Espirito intercede por nós com gemidos inexprimiveis.
27 But he that searcheth the heartes, knoweth what is the meaning of the Spirit: for he maketh request for ye Saints, according to the wil of God.
E aquelle que examina os corações, sabe qual seja a intenção do Espirito; porquanto elle segundo Deus, intercede pelos sanctos.
28 Also we knowe that all thinges worke together for the best vnto them that loue God, euen to them that are called of his purpose.
E sabemos que todas as coisas contribuem juntamente para o bem d'aquelles que amam a Deus, d'aquelles que são chamados por seu decreto.
29 For those which hee knewe before, he also predestinate to bee made like to the image of his Sonne, that hee might be the first borne among many brethren.
Porque os que d'antes conheceu tambem os predestinou para serem conformes á imagem de seu Filho; para que seja o primogenito entre muitos irmãos.
30 Moreouer whom he predestinate, them also he called, and whom he called, them also he iustified, and whom he iustified, them he also glorified.
E aos que predestinou a estes tambem chamou: e aos que chamou a estes tambem justificou; e aos que justificou a estes tambem glorificou.
31 What shall we then say to these thinges? If God be on our side, who can be against vs?
Que diremos pois a estas coisas? Se Deus é por nós, quem será contra nós?
32 Who spared not his owne Sonne, but gaue him for vs all to death, how shall he not with him giue vs all things also?
Aquelle que nem mesmo a seu proprio Filho poupou, antes o entregou por todos nós, como nos não dará tambem com elle todas as coisas?
33 Who shall lay any thing to the charge of Gods chosen? it is God that iustifieth,
Quem intentará accusação contra os escolhidos de Deus? sendo Deus quem os justifica.
34 Who shall condemne? it is Christ which is dead, yea, or rather, which is risen againe, who is also at the right hand of God, and maketh request also for vs.
Quem os condemnará? sendo Christo quem morreu, ou antes quem resuscitou d'entre os mortos, o qual está á direita de Deus, e tambem intercede por nós.
35 Who shall separate vs from the loue of Christ? shall tribulation or anguish, or persecution, or famine, or nakednesse, or perill, or sworde?
Quem nos separará do amor de Christo? A tribulação, ou a angustia, ou a perseguição, ou a fome, ou a nudez, ou o perigo, ou a espada?
36 As it is written, For thy sake are we killed all day long: we are counted as sheepe for the slaughter.
Como está escripto: Por amor de ti somos entregues á morte todo o dia: fomos reputados como ovelhas para o matadouro.
37 Neuerthelesse, in all these thinges we are more then coquerours through him that loued vs.
Mas em todas estas coisas somos mais do que vencedores, por aquelle que nos amou.
38 For I am perswaded that neither death, nor life, nor Angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,
Porque estou certo de que, nem a morte, nem a vida, nem os anjos, nem os principados, nem as potestades, nem o presente, nem o porvir,
39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature shalbe able to separate vs from the loue of God, which is in Christ Iesus our Lord.
Nem a altura, nem a profundidade, nem alguma outra creatura nos poderá separar do amor de Deus, que está em Christo Jesus nosso Senhor.
