Psalms 47

1 To him that excelleth. A Psalme committed to the sonnes of Korah. All people clap your hands: sing loude vnto God with a ioyfull voyce.

Koraha bērnu dziesma. Dziedātāju vadonim. Plaukšķinājiet priecīgi, visi ļaudis, un gavilējiet Dievam ar priecīgu balsi.

2 For the Lord is high, and terrible: a great King ouer all the earth.

Jo Tas Kungs, tas visuaugstais, ir bijājams, liels ķēniņš pa visu zemi.

3 He hath subdued the people vnder vs, and the nations vnder our feete.

Viņš sadzīs tautas apakš mums, un ļaudis apakš mūsu kājām.

4 Hee hath chosen our inheritance for vs: euen the glory of Iaakob whom he loued. (Selah)

Viņš mums izrauga mūsu mantojumu, Jēkaba godību, ko Viņš mīļo. (Sela)

5 God is gone vp with triumph, euen the Lord, with the sound of the trumpet.

Dievs uzkāpj ar gavilēšanu, Tas Kungs ar skaņu bazūni.

6 Sing prayses to God, sing prayses: sing prayses vnto our King, sing prayses.

Dziediet Dievam, dziedājiet; dziediet mūsu Ķēniņam, dziedājiet.

7 For God is the King of all the earth: sing prayses euery one that hath vnderstanding.

Jo Dievs ir Ķēniņš pār visu zemi, dziediet Viņam dziesmu.

8 God reigneth ouer the heathen: God sitteth vpon his holy throne.

Dievs valda pār pagāniem, Dievs sēž uz Sava svētā krēsla.

9 The princes of the people are gathered vnto the people of the God of Abraham: for the shields of the world belong to God: he is greatly to be exalted.

Tautu lielkungi sapulcējušies par tautu Ābrahāma Dievam, jo zemes varenie pieder Dievam; Viņš ir ļoti paaugstināts.
