Ezra 1
1 Nowe in the first yere of Cyrus King of Persia (that the worde of the Lord, spoken by the mouth of Ieremiah, might be accomplished) the Lord stirred vp the spirite of Cyrus King of Persia, and hee made a Proclamation thorowe all his Kingdome, and also by writing, saying,
Und im ersten Jahre des Cyrus, des Königs von Persien, - damit das aus dem Munde Jeremias ergangene Wort Jahwes in Erfüllung ginge - gab Jahwe dem Cyrus, dem Könige von Persien, ein, daß er in seinem ganzen Königreich, und zwar auch schriftlich, folgenden Befehl ergehen ließ:
2 Thus saith Cyrus King of Persia, The Lord God of heauen hath giuen me all the kingdomes of the earth, and he hath commanded me to builde him an house in Ierusalem, which is in Iudah.
So spricht Cyrus, der König von Persien: Alle Königreiche auf Erden hat mir Jahwe, der Gott des Himmels, übergeben und er hat mir befohlen, ihm zu Jerusalem in Juda einen Tempel zu erbauen.
3 Who is he among you of all his people with whome his God is? let him goe vp to Ierusalem which is in Iudah, and buylde the house of the Lord God of Israel: he is the God, which is in Ierusalem.
Wer irgend unter euch zu seinem Volke gehört, mit dem sei sein Gott, und er ziehe hinauf nach Jerusalem in Juda und baue den Tempel Jahwes, des Gottes Israels; das ist der Gott, der zu Jerusalem wohnt.
4 And euery one that remayneth in any place (where he soiourneth) let the men of his place relieue him with siluer and with golde, and with substance, and with cattel, and with a willing offring, for the house of God that is in Ierusalem.
Und wer noch übrig ist, den sollen an allen Orten, wo er sich aufhält, die Bewohner seines Orts unterstützen mit Silber und mit Gold und mit Habe und mit Vieh, neben den freiwilligen Gaben für den Tempel Gottes zu Jerusalem.
5 Then the chiefe fathers of Iudah and Beniamin, and the Priests and Leuites rose vp, with al them whose spirit God had raysed to goe vp, to builde the house of the Lord which is in Ierusalem.
Da machten sich die Familienhäupter von Juda und Benjamin und die Priester und die Leviten auf - alle, denen es Gott eingab, hinaufzuziehen, um den Tempel Jahwes zu Jerusalem zu bauen.
6 And all they that were about them, strengthened their handes with vessels of siluer, with golde, with substance and with cattell, and with precious thinges, besides all that was willingly offred.
Und alle Leute in ihrer Umgebung unterstützten sie mit silbernen Geräten, mit Gold, mit Habe und mit Vieh und Kleinodien, abgesehen von allen freiwilligen Spenden.
7 Also the King Cyrus brought forth the vessels of the house of the Lord, which Nebuchadnezzar had taken out of Ierusalem, and had put them in the house of his god.
Der König Cyrus aber gab die Gefäße des Tempels Jahwes heraus, die Nebukadnezar aus Jerusalem weggeführt und in den Tempel seines Gottes gethan hatte.
8 Euen them did Cyrus King of Persia bring forth by the hand of Mithredath the treasurer, and counted them vnto Sheshbazzar the Prince of Iudah.
Die übergab Cyrus, der König von Persien, dem Schatzmeister Mithredath; der zählte sie dem judäischen Fürsten Sesbazar zu.
9 And this is the nomber of them, thirtie basins of golde, a thousand basins of siluer, nine and twentie kniues,
Und das war ihre Zahl: 30 goldene Becken, 1000 silberne Becken, 29 Pfannen,
10 Thirtie boules of gold, and of siluer boules of the second sort, foure hundreth and tenne, and of other vessels, a thousand.
30 goldene Becher, .... silberne Becher, 410 anderweitige Becher, 1000 andere Geräte, -
11 All the vessels of golde and siluer were fiue thousand and foure hundreth. Sheshbazzar brought vp all with them of the captiuitie that came vp from Babel to Ierusalem.
im Ganzen 5400 goldene und silberne Geräte. Das alles brachte Sesbazar mit herauf, als die Gefangenen von Babel nach Jerusalem hinaufgeführt wurden.
