1 Corinthians 15
1 Moreouer brethren, I declare vnto you the Gospel, which I preached vnto you, which ye haue also receiued, and wherein ye continue,
Tambem vos notifico, irmãos, o evangelho que já vos tenho annunciado; o qual tambem recebestes, e no qual tambem permaneceis.
2 And whereby ye are saued, if ye keepe in memorie, after what maner I preached it vnto you, except ye haue beleeued in vaine.
Pelo qual tambem sois salvos se o retiverdes tal como vol-o tenho annunciado; se não é que crêstes em vão.
3 For first of all, I deliuered vnto you that which I receiued, how that Christ died for our sinnes, according to the Scriptures,
Porque primeiramente vos entreguei o que tambem recebi: que Christo morreu por nossos peccados, segundo as Escripturas,
4 And that he was buried, and that he arose the third day, according to the Scriptures,
E que foi sepultado, e que resuscitou ao terceiro dia, segundo as Escripturas,
5 And that he was seene of Cephas, then of the twelue.
E que foi visto por Cephas, e depois pelos doze.
6 After that, he was seene of more then fiue hudreth brethren at once: whereof many remaine vnto this present, and some also are asleepe.
Depois foi visto, uma vez, por mais de quinhentos irmãos, dos quaes vive ainda a maior parte, e alguns dormem já tambem.
7 After that, he was seene of Iames: then of all the Apostles.
Depois foi visto por Thiago, depois por todos os apostolos.
8 And last of all he was seene also of me, as of one borne out of due time.
E por derradeiro de todos foi visto tambem por mim, como por um abortivo.
9 For I am the least of the Apostles, which am not meete to be called an Apostle, because I persecuted the Church of God.
Porque eu sou o menor dos apostolos, que não sou digno de ser chamado apostolo, porque persegui a egreja de Deus.
10 But by the grace of God, I am that I am: and his grace which is in me, was not in vaine: but I laboured more aboundantly then they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which is with me.
Mas pela graça de Deus sou o que sou; e a sua graça para comigo não foi vã, antes trabalhei muito mais do que todos elles; todavia não eu, mas a graça de Deus, que está comigo
11 Wherefore, whether it were I, or they, so we preach, and so haue ye beleeued.
Assim que seja eu ou sejam elles, assim prégamos e assim haveis crido.
12 Now if it be preached, that Christ is risen from the dead, how say some among you, that there is no resurrection of the dead?
Ora, se se préga que Christo resuscitou dos mortos, como dizem alguns d'entre vós que não ha resurreição de mortos?
13 For if there be no resurrection of the dead, then is Christ not risen:
E, se não ha resurreição de mortos, tambem Christo não resuscitou.
14 And if Christ be not risen, then is our preaching vaine, and your faith is also vaine.
E, se Christo não resuscitou, logo é vã a nossa prégação, e tambem é vã a vossa fé.
15 And we are found also false witnesses of God: for we haue testified of God, that he hath raised vp Christ: whome he hath not raised vp, if so be the dead be not raised.
E assim somos tambem achados falsas testemunhas de Deus, pois testificamos de Deus, que resuscitou a Christo, ao qual, porém, não resuscitou, se, na verdade, os mortos não resuscitam.
16 For if the dead be not raised, then is Christ not raised.
Porque, se os mortos não resuscitam, tambem Christo não resuscitou.
17 And if Christ be not raised, your faith is vaine: ye are yet in your sinnes.
E, se Christo não resuscitou, é vã a vossa fé, e ainda permaneceis nos vossos peccados.
18 And so they which are a sleepe in Christ, are perished.
E tambem os que dormiram em Christo estão perdidos.
19 If in this life onely wee haue hope in Christ, we are of all men the most miserable.
Se esperamos em Christo só n'esta vida, somos os mais miseraveis de todos os homens.
20 But nowe is Christ risen from the dead, and was made the first fruites of them that slept.
Mas agora Christo resuscitou dos mortos, e foi feito as primicias dos que dormem.
21 For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead.
Porque, assim como a morte veiu por um homem, tambem a resurreição dos mortos veiu por um homem.
22 For as in Adam all die, euen so in Christ shall all be made aliue,
Porque, assim como todos morrem em Adão, assim tambem todos serão vivificados em Christo.
23 But euery man in his owne order: the first fruites is Christ, afterward, they that are of Christ, at his comming shall rise againe.
Mas cada um por sua ordem: Christo as primicias, depois os que são de Christo, na sua vinda.
24 Then shalbe the end, when he hath deliuered vp the kingdome to God, euen the Father, when he hath put downe all rule, and all authoritie and power.
Depois virá o fim, quando tiver entregado o reino a Deus, ao Pae, e quando houver aniquilado todo o imperio, e toda a potestade e força.
25 For he must reigne till hee hath put all his enemies vnder his feete.
Porque convem que reine até que haja posto a todos os inimigos debaixo de seus pés.
26 The last enemie that shalbe destroyed, is death.
Ora o ultimo inimigo que será aniquilado é a morte.
27 For he hath put downe all things vnder his feete. (And when he saith that all things are subdued to him, it is manifest that he is excepted, which did put downe all things vnder him.)
Porque todas as coisas sujeitou debaixo de seus pés. Porém, quando diz que todas as coisas lhe estão sujeitas, claro está que exceptua aquelle que lhe sujeitou todas as coisas.
28 And when all things shalbe subdued vnto him, then shall the Sonne also himselfe be subiect vnto him, that did subdue all things vnder him, that God may be all in all.
E, quando todas as coisas lhe estiverem sujeitas, então tambem o mesmo Filho se sujeitará áquelle que todas as coisas lhe sujeitou, para que Deus seja tudo em todos.
29 Els what shall they doe which are baptized for dead? if the dead rise not at all, why are they then baptized for dead?
D'outra maneira, que farão os que se baptizam pelos mortos, se absolutamente os mortos não resuscitam? Pois porque se baptizam pelos mortos?
30 Why are wee also in ieopardie euery houre?
Porque estamos nós tambem a toda a hora em perigo?
31 By your reioycing which I haue in Christ Iesus our Lord, I die dayly.
Cada dia morro pela vossa gloria, a qual tenho em Christo Jesus nosso Senhor.
32 If I haue fought with beastes at Ephesus after ye maner of men, what aduantageth it me, if the dead be not raised vp? let vs eate and drinke: for to morowe we shall die.
Se, como homem, combati em Epheso contra as bestas, que me aproveita, se os mortos não resuscitam? Comamos e bebamos, que ámanhã morreremos.
33 Be not deceiued: euill speakings corrupt good maners.
Não vos enganeis: as más conversações corrompem os bons costumes.
34 Awake to liue righteously, and sinne not: for some haue not ye knowledge of God, I speake this to your shame.
Vigiae justamente e não pequeis; porque alguns ainda não teem o conhecimento de Deus: digo-o para vergonha vossa.
35 But some man will say, Howe are the dead raised vp? and with what body come they foorth?
Mas alguem dirá: Como resuscitarão os mortos? E com que corpo virão?
36 O foole, that which thou sowest, is not quickened, except it die.
Insensato! o que tu semeias não vivificará, se primeiro não morrer.
37 And that which thou sowest, thou sowest not that body that shalbe, but bare corne as it falleth, of wheat, or of some other.
E, quando semeias, não semeias o corpo que ha de nascer, mas o simples grão, como de trigo, ou d'outra qualquer semente.
38 But God giueth it a body at his pleasure, euen to euery seede his owne body,
Mas Deus dá-lhe o corpo como quer, e a cada semente o seu proprio corpo.
39 All flesh is not the same flesh, but there is one flesh of men, and another flesh of beastes, and another of fishes, and another of birdes.
Nem toda a carne é uma mesma carne, mas uma é a carne dos homens, e outra a carne dos animaes, e outra a dos peixes e outra a das aves.
40 There are also heauenly bodies, and earthly bodies: but the glorie of the heauenly is one, and the glorie of the earthly is another.
E ha corpos celestes e corpos terrestres, mas uma é a gloria dos celestes e outra a dos terrestres.
41 There is another glorie of the sunne, and another glorie of the moone, and another glorie of the starres: for one starre differeth from another starre in glorie.
Uma é a gloria do sol, e outra a gloria da lua, e outra a gloria das estrellas; porque uma estrella differe em gloria d'outra estrella.
42 So also is the resurrection of the dead. The bodie is sowen in corruption, and is raysed in incorruption.
Assim tambem a resurreição dos mortos. Semeia-se o corpo em corrupção; resuscitará em incorrupção.
43 It is sowen in dishonour, and is raysed in glory: it is sowen in weakenesse, and is raysed in power.
Semeia-se em ignominia, resuscitará em gloria. Semeia-se em fraqueza, resuscitará com vigor.
44 It is sowen a naturall body, and is raysed a spirituall body: there is a naturall body, and there is a spirituall body.
Semeia-se corpo animal, resuscitará corpo espiritual. Ha corpo animal, e ha corpo espiritual.
45 As it is also written, The first man Adam was made a liuing soule: and the last Adam was made a quickening Spirit.
Assim está tambem escripto: O primeiro homem, Adão, foi feito em alma vivente: o ultimo Adão em espirito vivificante.
46 Howbeit that was not first which is spirituall: but that which is naturall, and afterward that which is spirituall.
Mas não é primeiro o espiritual, senão o animal; depois o espiritual.
47 The first man is of the earth, earthly: the second man is the Lord from heauen.
O primeiro homem, da terra, é terreno; o segundo homem, o Senhor, é do céu.
48 As is the earthly, such are they that are earthly: and as is the heauenly, such are they also that are heauenly.
Qual o terreno, taes são tambem os terrenos; e, qual o celestial, taes tambem os celestiaes.
49 And as we haue borne the image of the earthly, so shall we beare the image of the heauenly.
E, assim como trouxemos a imagem do terreno, assim traremos tambem a imagem do celestial.
50 This say I, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherite the kingdome of God, neither doeth corruption inherite incorruption.
Porém digo isto, irmãos: que a carne e o sangue não podem herdar o reino de Deus, nem a corrupção herda a incorrupção.
51 Behold, I shewe you a secret thing, We shall not all sleepe, but we shall all be changed,
Eis aqui vos digo um mysterio: Na verdade, nem todos dormiremos, mas todos seremos transformados,
52 In a moment, in the twinckling of an eye at the last trumpet: for the trumpet shall blow, and the dead shalbe raysed vp incorruptible, and we shalbe changed.
N'um momento, n'um abrir e fechar d'olhos, ao som da ultima trombeta; porque a trombeta soará, e os mortos resuscitarão incorruptiveis, e nós seremos transformados.
53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption: and this mortall must put on immortalitie.
Porque convem que este corpo corruptivel se revista da incorruptibilidade, e que este corpo mortal se revista da immortalidade.
54 So when this corruptible hath put on incorruption, and this mortall hath put on immortalitie, then shalbe brought to passe the saying that is written, Death is swallowed vp into victorie.
E, quando este corpo corruptivel se revestir da incorruptibilidade, e este corpo mortal se revestir da immortalidade, então cumprir-se-ha a palavra que está escripta: Tragada foi a morte na victoria.
Onde está, ó morte, o teu aguilhão? Onde está, ó inferno, a tua victoria? (Hadēs g86)
56 The sting of death is sinne: and ye strength of sinne is the Lawe.
Ora o aguilhão da morte é o peccado, e a força do peccado é a lei
57 But thankes be vnto God, which hath giuen vs victorie through our Lord Iesus Christ.
Mas graças a Deus que nos dá a victoria por nosso Senhor Jesus Christo.
58 Therefore my beloued brethren, be ye stedfast, vnmoueable, aboundant alwayes in the worke of the Lord, forasmuch as ye knowe that your labour is not in vaine in the Lord.
Portanto, meus amados irmãos, sêde firmes e constantes, sempre abundantes na obra do Senhor, sabendo que o vosso trabalho não é vão no Senhor.
