1 Corinthians 5
1 I hear reports that sexual immorality is happening among you, immorality that even the foreigners don't practice. A man is living with his father's wife!
May tinuod nga gikabalita nga adunay pagpakighilawas diha kaninyo, kanang pakighilawas nga ang ingon wala buhata bisan pa sa mga Gentil, nga mao, nga anaay tawo diha nga nakigpuyopuyo sa asawa sa iyang amahan.
2 You are so proud of yourselves! Shouldn't you have wept with sadness, and excluded the man who did this?
Ug kamo nanagpaburot hinoon, ug wala managkaguol nga unta makuha gikan sa inyong taliwala kanang tawhana nga nagabuhat niini.
3 Even though I'm not physically present there, I am there in spirit and just as if I were there I've already made my judgment of the one who has done this.
Kay bisan wala ako diha sa lawas, anaa ako sa espiritu; ug sama ra nga anaa ako, nakapakanaug na ako sa akong hukom
4 When you meet together in the name of the Lord Jesus I'll be there with you in spirit and with the power of our Lord Jesus.
sa ngalan sa Ginoong Jesus, batok sa tawo nga nagabuhat sa maong butang. Inigkatigum ninyo, ug anaa ang akong espiritu, uban sa gahum sa atong Ginoong Jesus,
5 Hand over this man to Satan so his sinful nature may be destroyed and he himself be saved on the day of the Lord.
kining tawhana kinahanglan inyong itugyan ngadto kang Satanas alang sa pagkalaglag sa iyang lawas, aron ang iyang espiritu maluwas unya sa panahon sa Ginoong Jesus.
6 You shouldn't be proud about this. Don't you know that it only takes a little yeast to make the whole batch of dough rise?
Kining pagpasigarboha ninyo dili maayo. Wala ba kamo masayud nga ang diyutayng pudyot sa igpatubo mopatubo sa tibook nga minasa?
7 Get rid of this old yeast so that you can be a new batch of dough to make bread without yeast. Christ our Passover lamb has been sacrificed.
Kuhaa gikan kaninyo ang daang igpatubo aron kamo mahimong bag-ong minasa; maingon nga sa pagkatinuod kamo dili na pinatuboan. Kay gikahalad na si Cristo, ang atong karniro sa pasko.
8 So let us celebrate this festival, not with old yeast or the yeast of evil and wickedness, but with the bread made without yeast, the bread of sincerity and truth.
Busa, saulogon ta ang pangilin, dili sa daan nga igpatubo, dili sa igpatubo nga mao ang pagkamadinauton ug pagkadautan, kondili sa wala-patuboi nga tinapay nga mao ang pagkamaminatud-on ug kamatuoran.
9 In my previous letter I wrote that you should not associate with immoral people.
Gikaingnan ko na kamo sa akong pagsulat kaninyo nga dili kamo magpakigkauban sa mga makihilawason.
10 I wasn't referring to the immoral people of this world, those who are greedy and cheat others, or those who worship idols, otherwise you'd have to leave this world!
Hinoon wala ko ipasabut niini nga kamo dili na gayud magpakigharong sa mga makihilawason dinhi sa kalibutan, o sa mga dalo ug mga tikasan, o mga tigsimbag mga diosdios; kay kon mao pa, nan, gikinahanglan unta nga mamahawa na lang kamo niining kalibutana.
11 What I meant when I wrote was that you shouldn't associate with anyone who is called a Christian who is immoral or greedy or worships idols; or who is abusive or a drunkard or who cheats others. Don't even share a meal with anyone like that!
Hinonoa, ako nagsulat kaninyo nga dili kamo magpakigkauban kang bisan kinsa nga nagapakaigsoon kon kana siya makihilawason, o dalo, o tigsimbag mga diosdios, o tigpasipala, o palahubog, o tikasan dili, bisan na lang sa pagpakigsalo kaniya sa pagpangaon.
12 It's not my place to judge those outside the church. But shouldn't you judge those who are inside the church?
Kay unsa may akong katungod sa paghukom sa mga taga-gawas? Dili ba ang mga anaa sa sulod sa iglesia mao ang inyong pagahukman?
13 God judges those that are outside the church. “Expel the wicked from among you.”
Ang Dios mao ang magahukom kanila nga mga taga-gawas. Palagputa gikan sa inyong taliwala kanang tawong dautan.
