< Job 15 >

1 And Eliphaz the Themanite, answered, and said:
Elifazi, moto ya Temani, azwaki maloba mpe alobaki:
2 Will a wise man answer as if he were speaking in the wind, and fill his stomach with burning heat?
« Boni, moto ya bwanya akopesaka solo eyano na maloba ya pamba boye, maloba oyo ezanga ata tina, to alingaka kotondisa libumu na ye na mopepe ya moto oyo ewutaka na Este?
3 Thou reprovest him by words, who is not equal to thee, and thou speakest that which is not good for thee.
Akoki solo komilobela na maloba ezanga ata tina? Akoki solo kosalela maloba milayi oyo ezali ata na motuya te?
4 As much as is in thee, thou hast made void fear, and hast taken away prayers from before God.
Yo ozali penza kobebisa lokumu ya Nzambe okomi koboya lokumu liboso ya Nzambe.
5 For thy iniquity hath taught thy mouth, and thou imitatest the tongue of blasphemers.
Lisumu na yo ezali kokamba monoko na yo, ozwi elobeli ya bakosi.
6 Thy own mouth shall condemn thee, and not I: and thy own lips shall answer thee.
Monoko na yo moko nde ezali komemela yo etumbu, kasi monoko na ngai te; bibebu na yo moko nde ezali kofunda yo.
7 Art thou the first man that was born, or wast thou made before the hills?
Yo nde moto ya liboso oyo obotama kati na bato? Omona moyi liboso ya bangomba mikuse?
8 Hast thou heard God’s counsel, and shall his wisdom be inferior to thee?
Osila koyoka makambo oyo elobamaka kati na Likita ya Nzambe? Bwanya ezalaka kaka epai na yo moko?
9 What knowest thou that we are ignorant of? what dost thou understand that we know not?
Makambo nini oyebi, oyo biso toyebi te? Boyebi nini ozali na yango, oyo biso tozali na yango te?
10 There are with us also aged and ancient men, much elder than thy fathers.
Na ngambo na biso, ezali na bato ya suki pembe, bampaka, bato oyo baleki tata na yo na mibu ya mbotama.
11 Is it a great matter that God should comfort thee? but thy wicked words hinder this.
Kobondisama ya Nzambe mpe maloba ya kimia oyo bazali koloba mpo na yo, ekoki te mpo na yo?
12 Why doth thy heart elevate thee, and why dost thou stare with thy eyes, as if they were thinking great things?
Mpo na nini motema na yo ezali kopengwisa yo, mpe miso na yo ezali kobeta-beta?
13 Why doth thy spirit swell against God, to utter such words out of thy mouth?
Mpo ete obwakela Nzambe kanda na yo mpe obimisa makambo ya boye na monoko na yo?
14 What is man that he should be without spot, and he that is born of a woman that he should appear just?
Moto azali nani mpo ete azala peto? Ye oyo abotami na mwasi azali nani mpo ete azala sembo?
15 Behold among his saints none is unchangeable, and the heavens are not pure in his sight.
Soki Nkolo azali kondimela basantu na Ye te, soki kutu likolo ezali peto te na miso na Ye,
16 How much more is man abominable, and unprofitable, who drinketh iniquity like water?
ekozala boni mpo na moto mabe, moto oyo abeba, oyo asalaka mabe lokola azali komela mayi?
17 I will shew thee, hear me: and I will tell thee what I have seen.
Yoka ngai, mpe nakolimbolela yo! Tika ete nayebisa yo makambo oyo ngai namona,
18 Wise men confess and hide not their fathers.
makambo oyo bato ya bwanya balobaki, na kobomba ata eloko moko te kati na makambo oyo bazwaki epai ya batata na bango.
19 To whom alone the earth was given, and no stranger hath passed among them.
Apesaki mokili epai na bango kaka tango ata mopaya moko te alekaki kati na bango.
20 The wicked man is proud all his days, and the number of the years of his tyranny is uncertain.
Na bomoi na ye mobimba, na mibu oyo bakata mpo na bomoi na ye, moto mabe anyokwamaka.
21 The sound of dread is always in his ears: and when there is peace, he always suspecteth treason.
Lokito ya somo etondisaka matoyi na ye, bato ya mobulu babimelaka ye ata na tango ya kimia.
22 He believeth not that he may return from darkness to light, looking round about for the sword on every side.
Azalaka na elikya te ya kobima na molili, mpe mopanga ezelaka ye.
23 When he moveth himself to seek bread, he knoweth that the day of darkness is ready at his hand.
Ayengaka-yengaka mpo na koluka lipa, kasi akozwela yango wapi? Ayebaka ete mokolo ya molili ezelaka ye.
24 Tribulation shall terrify him, and distress shall surround him, as a king that is prepared for the battle.
Pasi mpe mawa ebangisaka ye, ekomelaka ye lokola mokonzi oyo amibongisi mpo na bitumba,
25 For he hath stretched out his hand against God, and hath strengthened himself against the Almighty.
mpo ete asembolaka loboko na ye mpo na kobundisa Nzambe, atelemelaka Nkolo-Na-Nguya-Nyonso,
26 He hath run against him with his neck raised up, and is armed with a fat neck.
akimaka epai na Ye, moto etala na se, amibombaka na sima ya banguba minene.
27 Fatness hath covered his face, and the fat hangeth down on his sides.
Elongi na ye ekotonda mafuta, loketo na ye ekokoma monene;
28 He hath dwelt in desolate cities, and in desert houses that are reduced into heaps.
akovanda na engumba ebeba, kati na bandako oyo bato bakima, bandako oyo ekoma pene ya kokweya;
29 He shall not be enriched, neither shall his substance continue, neither shall he push his root in the earth.
akotikala kokoma mozwi te, pamba te bozwi na ye ekowumela te, bomengo na ye ekopanzana te kati na mokili mobimba;
30 He shall not depart out of darkness: the flame shall dry up his branches, and he shall be taken away by the breath of his own month.
akokoka kokima molili te, moto ekokawusa mandalala na ye mpe akokima ata pema na ye moko.
31 He shall not believe, being vainly deceived by error, that he may be redeemed with any price.
Tika ete atia elikya na ye na lokuta te, pamba te akoyokisama soni mpe akozwa libebi lokola lifuti.
32 Before his days be full he shall perish: and his hands shall wither away.
Ekokokisama liboso ete akufa, ndenge lindalala ekawukaka mpo na kozanga mayi na yango
33 He shall be blasted as a vine when its grapes are in the first flower, and as an olive tree that casteth its flower.
to lokola nzete ya vino oyo ekweyisi bambuma na yango, wana ezali nanu mobesu to lokola nzete ya olive oyo ekweyisi fololo na yango.
34 For the congregation of the hypocrite is barren, and fire shall devour their tabernacles, who love to take bribes.
Solo, libota ya moto mabe ekofuluka te, mpe moto ekozikisa ndako na ye mpo na mabe na ye moko.
35 He hath conceived sorrow, and hath brought forth iniquity, and his womb prepareth deceits.
Pamba te moto nyonso oyo azalaka na makanisi mabe kati na ye abotaka kaka pasi; mabe oyo ekolaka kati na ye ememelaka ye moko libebi. »
