< 1 John 2 >

1 My little children, I write these things to you so that you may not sin. If anyone sins, we have a Counselor with the Father, Jesus Christ, the righteous.
JAMA ko, mepukat i intin won komail, pwe komail de wia dip, a ma amen wia dip, jauaja patail mia ren Jam, Iejuj Krijtuj, me pun.
2 And he is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not for ours only, but also for the whole world.
Iei me tom en dip atail, a kaidin atail ta, pwe pil en toun jappa karoj.
3 This is how we know that we know him: if we keep his commandments.
I me kitail dedeki, me kitail ajaer i, ma kitail kapwaiada kujoned akan.
4 One who says, “I know him,” and does not keep his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.
Me inda: I aja i, ap jota kapwaiada a kujoned akan, i me likam amen, melel jota mi re a.
5 But God’s love has most certainly been perfected in whoever keeps his word. This is how we know that we are in him:
A me kapwaiada a majan, i me limpok en Kot unjokelar re a, i me kitail ajaki, me kitail udan japwilim a.
6 he who says he remains in him ought himself also to walk just like he walked.
Me kin inda: I potopot re a, mak eta, i en weweid wei dueta a kotin weweidier.
7 Brothers, I write no new commandment to you, but an old commandment which you had from the beginning. The old commandment is the word which you heard from the beginning.
Kompok kan, kaidin kujoned kap eu, me i intin won komail, a kujoned en maj o, me mi re omail jan ni tapi o. Kujoned en maj, iei majan o, me komail roner.
8 Again, I write a new commandment to you, which is true in him and in you, because the darkness is passing away and the true light already shines.
Pil eu kujoned kap, me i intin won komail, me melel re a o re omail, pwe rotorot mur tikitikla, a marain melel ap dakadar.
9 He who says he is in the light and hates his brother is in the darkness even until now.
Me inda, me a mi ni marain, ap kailon kin ri a, nan a mimieta ni rotorot lel met.
10 He who loves his brother remains in the light, and there is no occasion for stumbling in him.
Me kin pok on ri a, pan mimieta ni marain, ap jolar men kamakar mi re a.
11 But he who hates his brother is in the darkness, and walks in the darkness, and does not know where he is going, because the darkness has blinded his eyes.
A me kin tataki ri a, ni rotorot, o weweid ni rotorot, ap kin jaja, waja a kin ko on ia, pwe rotorot karotonala maj a kan.
12 I write to you, little children, because your sins are forgiven you for his name’s sake.
I intin won komail, jama ko, pwe dip omail lapwadar ki mar a.
13 I write to you, fathers, because you know him who is from the beginning. I write to you, young men, because you have overcome the evil one. I write to you, little children, because you know the Father.
I intin won komail, jam atail, pwe komail aja i, me kotikot eta jan ni tapi o. I intin won komail manakap akan, pwe komail kaloedier me jued o. I intin won komail er, jama ko, pwe komail ajaer Jam.
14 I have written to you, fathers, because you know him who is from the beginning. I have written to you, young men, because you are strong, and the word of God remains in you, and you have overcome the evil one.
I intin won komail er, jam akan, pwe komail aja i, me kotikot jan ni tapi o. I intin won komail er, manakap akan, pwe komail me kelail, o majan en Kot en mimieta re omail, o komail kaloedier me jued o.
15 Do not love the world or the things that are in the world. If anyone loves the world, the Father’s love is not in him.
Der pok on jappa, de dipijou mimi jappa. Ma amen pok on jappa, limpok en Jam me jota mi re a.
16 For all that is in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—is not the Father’s, but is the world’s.
Pwe meakaroj mi jappa, inon en ni uduk, o inon en ni maj oko, o linan mal en maur, a jota lapida jan ren Jam, a jan ni jappa.
17 The world is passing away with its lusts, but he who does God's will remains for the age (aiōn g165).
A jappa pan jorola o a me jued akan, a me wia kupur en Kot, pan mimieta kokolata. (aiōn g165)
18 Little children, these are the end times, and as you heard that the Antichrist is coming, even now many antichrists have arisen. By this we know that it is the final hour.
Jama ko, metet imwin auer o, o duen omail roner, me krijtuj likam pan pwarado, nan anjau wet krijtuj likam me toto, me pwaradar, i me kitail ajaki, met imwin auer leler.
19 They went out from us, but they did not belong to us; for if they had belonged to us, they would have continued with us. But they left, that they might be revealed that none of them belong to us.
Irail me kola jan kitail, a kaidin kij atail, pwe ma irail kij atail, re pan mimieta re atail. A irail kola jan kitail, pwen janjal, me kaidin irail karoj kij atail.
20 You have an anointing from the Holy One, and you all have knowledge.
A komail keidier ren me jaraui, o komail ajaer meakaroj.
21 I have not written to you because you do not know the truth, but because you know it, and because no lie is of the truth.
I jota intin won komail er, dene jota aja duen melel, a pwe komail aja, o likam jo tapida jan ni melel.
22 Who is the liar but he who denies that Jesus is the Christ? This is the Antichrist, he who denies the Father and the Son.
Ij me likam amen? Kaidin i, me kamamada me Iejuj udan Krijtuj. I me krijtuj likam, me kamama kida Jam o Na.
23 Whoever denies the Son does not have the Father. He who confesses the Son has the Father also.
Amen amen, me kamam kida Na, nan Jam pil jota mi re a, a me ponaja Na, i me pil japwilim en Jam.
24 Therefore, as for you, let that remain in you which you heard from the beginning. If that which you heard from the beginning remains in you, you also will remain in the Son, and in the Father.
Me komail roner jan ni tapi o, en potopoteta re omail. Ma a pan mimi re omail, me komail roner jan ni tapi o, komail ap pil pan potopot ren Na o Jam.
25 This is the promise which he promised us, the consummate (aiōnios g166) life.
A iet inau o, me a kotin inauki on kitail er: Maur joutuk. (aiōnios g166)
26 These things I have written to you concerning those who would lead you astray.
Mepukat me i intin won komail er duen irail, me kajapune komail.
27 As for you, the anointing which you received from him remains in you, and you do not need for anyone to teach you. But as his anointing teaches you concerning all things, and is true, and is no lie, and even as it taught you, you will remain in him.
A omail kei, me komail aleer re a, pan mimieta re omail. Komail ap jolar mau on, amen en padaki on komail. A duen kei wet kin padaki on komail meakaroj, iduen me melel, a kaidin likam pot, o duen a padaki on komail er, iduen komail en dadaurata.
28 Now, little children, remain in him, that when he appears, we may have boldness and not be ashamed before him at his coming.
Ari jama ko, podidi on i, pwe ni a pan kotin pwarado, kitail en aima, a jo namenok mo a, ni a kotin pwarado.
29 If you know that he is righteous, you know that everyone who practices righteousness has been born of him.
Ma komail aja, me i me pun, komail en pil aja, meamen, me wia me pun, me ipwi jan i er.
