Izaiáš 66

1 Takto praví Hospodin: Nebe jest mi stolice, a země podnože noh mých. Kdež ten dům bude, kterýž mi vzděláte? Aneb kde bude místo odpočívání mého?

Thus saith the Lord, The heauen is my throne, and the earth is my footestoole: where is that house that ye will builde vnto me? and where is that place of my rest?

2 Nebo všecko to ruka má učinila, a jí stojí všecko, praví Hospodin. I však na toho patřím, kdož jest chudý a skroušeného ducha, a třese se před slovem mým.

For all these things hath mine hand made, and all these things haue bene, sayth the Lord: and to him will I looke, euen to him, that is poore, and of a contrite spirite and trembleth at my wordes.

3 Sic jinak ten, kdož zabijí vola, zabil člověka; kdo zabijí hovádko, psa sťal; kdo obětuje obět suchou, krev sviňskou obětoval; kdo kadí kadidlem, dary dával modle. To oni vyvolili na cestách svých, proto že, v ohavnostech svých duše jejich se kochá.

He that killeth a bullocke, is as if he slewe a man: he that sacrificeth a sheepe, as if he cut off a dogges necke: he that offereth an oblation, as if he offered swines blood: he that remembreth incense, as if he blessed an idole: yea, they haue chosen their owne wayes, and their soule deliteth in their abominations.

4 I jáť také vyvolím za nešlechetnosti jejich, a to, čehož se strachují, na ně uvedu, proto že, když jsem volal, žádný se neohlásil, když jsem mluvil, neslyšeli, ale činili to, což zlého jest před očima mýma, a to, čehož neoblibuji, vyvolili.

Therefore will I chuse out their delusions, and I will bring their feare vpon them, because I called, and none woulde answere: I spake and they woulde not heare: but they did euill in my sight, and chose the things which I would not.

5 Slyšte slovo Hospodinovo, kteříž se třesete před slovem jeho: Říkávají bratří vaši, v nenávisti majíce vás, a vypovídajíce vás pro jméno mé: Nechť se zjeví sláva Hospodinova. Ukážeť se zajisté ku potěšení vašemu, ale oni zahanbeni budou.

Heare the worde of the Lord, all ye that tremble at his worde, Your brethren that hated you, and cast you out for my Names sake, said, Let the Lord be glorified: but he shall appeare to your ioy, and they shall be ashamed.

6 Hlas hřmotu z města, hlas z chrámu, hlas Hospodinův, an odplatu dává nepřátelům svým.

A voyce soundeth from the citie, euen a voyce from the Temple, the voyce of the Lord, that recompenseth his enemies fully.

7 Prvé než pracovala ku porodu, porodila; prvé než přišla na ni bolest, porodila pacholátko.

Before she trauailed, she brought foorth: and before her paine came, she was deliuered of a man childe.

8 Kdo slýchal co takového? Kdo vídal co podobného? Zdaliž může způsobeno býti, aby země zplodila lid dne jednoho? Zdaliž zplozen bývá národ pojednou? Ale Sion jen počal pracovati ku porodu, a porodil syny své.

Who hath heard such a thing? who hath seene such things? shall ye earth be brought forth in one day? or shall a nation be borne at once? for assoone as Zion trauailed, she brought foorth her children.

9 Což bych já, kterýž otvírám život matky, neplodil? praví Hospodin. Což bych já, kterýž činím to, aby rodily, zavřín byl? praví Bůh tvůj.

Shall I cause to trauaile, and not bring forth? shall I cause to bring forth, and shall be baren, saith thy God?

10 Veselte se s Jeruzalémem, a plésejte v něm všickni, kteříž jej milujete. Radujte se s ním velice, kteříž jste koli kvílili nad ním,

Reioyce ye with Ierusalem, and be gladde with her, all ye that loue her: reioyce for ioy with her, all ye that mourne for her,

11 Proto že ssáti budete, a sytiti se z prs potěšení jeho, ssáti budete, a rozkoš míti v blesku slávy jeho.

That ye may sucke and be satisfied with the brestes of her consolation: that ye may milke out and be delited with ye brightnes of her glorie.

12 Nebo takto praví Hospodin: Aj, já obrátím na něj jako řeku pokoj, a jako potok rozvodnilý slávu národů. I budete ssáti, na rukou pěstováni a na klíně rozkošně chováni budete.

For thus saith the Lord, Beholde, I will extend peace ouer her like a flood, and the glorie of the Gentiles like a flowing streame: then shall ye sucke, ye shall be borne vpon her sides, and be ioyfull vpon her knees.

13 Jako ten, kteréhož matka jeho těší, tak já vás těšiti budu, a tak v Jeruzalémě potěšováni budete.

As one whom his mother comforteth, so will I comfort you, and ye shall be comforted in Ierusalem.

14 Uzříte zajisté, a radovati se bude srdce vaše, a kosti vaše jako bylinka zkvetnou. I seznána bude ruka Hospodinova při služebnících jeho, a prchlivost proti nepřátelům jeho.

And when ye see this, your hearts shall reioyce, and your bones shall flourish like an herbe: and the hand of the Lord shall be knowen among his seruants, and his indignation against his enemies.

15 Nebo aj, Hospodin v ohni přijde, a jako vichřice budou vozové jeho, aby vypustil v prchlivosti hněv svůj, a žehrání své v plameni ohně.

For beholde, the Lord will come with fire, and his charets like a whirlewinde, that he may recompence his anger with wrath, and his indignation with the flame of fire.

16 Hospodin, pravím, ohněm mstíti bude, a mečem svým nad všelikým tělem, tak že mnoho bude zbitých od Hospodina.

For the Lord will iudge with fire, and with his sworde all flesh, and the slaine of the Lord shall be many.

17 I ti, kteříž se posvěcují a očišťují v zahradách, jeden po druhém zjevně, kteříž jedí maso sviňské, a věc ohavnou i myši, též konec vezmou, praví Hospodin.

They that sanctifie themselues, and purifie themselues in the gardens behinde one tree in the middes eating swines flesh, and such abomination, euen the mouse, shall be consumed together, sayeth the Lord.

18 Nebo já, když skutkové a myšlení jejich přijdou, shromáždím všecky národy a jazyky. I přijdou, a uzří slávu mou.

For I will visite their workes, and their imaginations: for it shall come that I will gather all nations, and tongues, and they shall come, and see my glorie.

19 A položím na ně znamení, a pošli z nich, kteříž zachováni budou, k národům do Tarsu, Pul a Lud, jenž natahují lučiště, do Tubal a Javan, na ostrovy daleké, kteříž neslýchali pověsti o mně, aniž vídali slávy mé. I budou zvěstovati slávu mou mezi národy.

And I will set a signe among them, and will send those that escape of them, vnto the nations of Tarshish, Pul, and Lud, and to them that drawe the bowe, to Tubal and Tauan, yles afarre off, that haue not heard my fame, neither haue seene my glorie, and they shall declare my glorie among the Gentiles.

20 A přivedou všecky bratří vaše ze všech národů za dar Hospodinu, na koních a na vozích, a na nůších a na mezcích, a na dromedářích, na horu svatosti mé do Jeruzaléma, praví Hospodin, tak jako přinášejí synové Izraelští dar v nádobě čisté do domu Hospodinova.

And they shall bring all your brethren for an offering vnto the Lord out of all nations, vpon horses, and in charets, and in horse litters, and vpon mules, and swift beastes, to Ierusalem mine holy Mountaine, saith the Lord, as the children of Israel, offer in a cleane vessell in the House of the Lord.

21 A z těchť také vezmu za kněží a za Levíty, praví Hospodin.

And I will take of them for Priestes, and for Leuites, saith the Lord.

22 Nebo jakož ta nebesa nová, a země ta nová, kterouž já učiním, stane přede mnou, praví Hospodin, tak stane símě vaše a jméno vaše.

For as the newe heauens, and the newe earth which I will make, shall remaine before me, saith the Lord, so shall your seede and your name continue.

23 I stane se, že od novměsíce do novměsíce, od soboty do soboty přicházeti bude všeliké tělo, aby se klanělo přede mnou, praví Hospodin.

And from moneth to moneth, and from Sabbath to Sabbath shall all flesh come to worship before me, saith the Lord.

24 A vyjdouce, uzří těla mrtvá lidí těch, kteříž se mi zpronevěřili; nebo červ jejich neumře, a oheň jejich neuhasne. I budouť v ošklivosti všelikému tělu.

And they shall goe forth, and looke vpon the carkases of the men that haue transgressed against me: for their worme shall not dye, neither shall their fire be quenched, and they shalbe an abhorring vnto all flesh.
