1 Tedae tuitunli kah laivin dongah sut pai. Te vaengah satlung pakhat tuitunli lamkah halo te ka hmuh. A ki parha neh a lu parhih a khueh tih a ki dongah lukhuem parha om. A lu ah soehsalnah ming a phueih.
And he took his place on the sand of the sea. And I saw a beast coming up out of the sea, having ten horns and seven heads, and on his horns ten crowns, and on his heads unholy names.
2 Te vaengah satlung ka hmuh te tah kaihlaeng phek la om tih a kho tah vom kho bangla om. A ka tah sathueng ka bangla om. Tuihnam loh a thaomnah neh a ngolkhoel neh aka len koek saithainah te a taengah a paek.
And the beast which I saw was like a leopard, and his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave him his power and his seat and great authority.
3 Te vaengah a lu pakhat te dueknah duela a ngawn bangla om. Tedae a dueknah lucik tah a hoeih pah. Te dongah diklai tah a pum la a ngaihmang uh tih satlung hnukah banguh.
And I saw one of his heads as if it had been given a death-wound; and his death-wound was made well: and all the earth was wondering at the beast.
4 Satlung te saithainah a paek coeng dongah tuihnam te a bawk uh. Satlung te a bawk uh vaengah, “Satlung phek la unim aka om? Unim a taengah aka vathoh thai,” a ti uh.
And they gave worship to the dragon, because he gave authority to the beast; and worshipping the beast, they said, Who is like the beast? and who is able to go to war with him?
5 A ka te cal khungdaeng ham neh soehsalnah a paek. Saithainah te hla sawmli panit khuiah tueng sak ham a paek.
And there was given to him a mouth to say words of pride against God; and there was given to him authority to go on for forty-two months.
6 Te dongah Pathen te soehsalnah neh a ka a ang thil. A ming neh a dap te khaw, vaan ah aka rhaeh rhoek khaw a soehsal pah.
And his mouth was open to say evil against God, and against his name and his Tent, even against those who are in heaven.
7 Hlangcim rhoek taengah caem thoh ham neh amih te noeng hama paek. Koca boeih neh pilnam soah, ol neh namtom taengah saithainah a paek.
And it was given to him to make war on the saints and to overcome them: and there was given to him authority over every tribe and people and language and nation.
8 Te phoeiah diklai hmankah khosa boeih, Diklai tongnah lamloh a ngawn tangtae tuca kah hingnah cayol ah a ming a daek pawt rhoek loh te te a bawk uh ni.
And all who are on the earth will give him worship, everyone whose name has not been from the first in the book of life of the Lamb who was put to death.
9 Khat khat long ni hna a khueh atah ya saeh.
If any man has ears, let him give ear.
10 Khat khat ni a tamna ham atah tamna la cet coeng. Khat khat ni cunghang neh a ngawn ham atah cunghang neh a ngawn. He ah he hlangcim rhoek kah uehnah neh tangnah te om.
If any man sends others into prison, into prison he will go: if any man puts to death with the sword, with the sword will he be put to death. Here is the quiet strength and the faith of the saints.
11 Te phoeiah diklai lamkah satlung a tloe a thoeng te ka hmuh. Te vaengah tuca phek la a ki panit a khueh dae tuihnam bangla cal.
And I saw another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and his voice was like that of a dragon.
12 Satlung lamhma kah saithainah te khaw a hmaiah boeih a saii. Diklai neh a khuikah khosa rhoek, dueknah lucik loh a hoeih sak rhoek tah lamhma kah satlung bawk sak ham a saii.
And he makes use of all the authority of the first beast before his eyes. And he makes the earth and those who are in it give worship to the first beast, whose death-wound was made well.
13 Te phoeiah miknoek khaw muep a saii. Hlang hmaiah vaan lamkah hmai pataeng diklai la suntlak sak ham a saii.
And he does great signs, even making fire come down from heaven on the earth before the eyes of men.
14 Diklai hmankah khosa rhoek khaw a rhaithi coeng. Te miknoek nen te satlung hmaiah saii ham a paek coeng. Satlung kah muei saii pah ham te diklai dongkah khosa rhoek te a uen. Anih tah cunghang dongkah lucik te a dang dae koep hing.
And those who are on the earth are turned from the true way by him through the signs which he was given power to do before the beast; giving orders to those who are on the earth to make an image to the beast, who was wounded by the sword, and came to life.
15 Satlung kah a muei te mueihla paek thai ham khaw a paek. Te nen ni satlung muei a loh sak vetih satlung muei aka bawk pawt boeih te ngawn ham khaw a saii eh.
And he had power to give breath to the image of the beast, so that words might come from the image of the beast, and that he might have all those who did not give worship to the image of the beast put to death.
16 Te phoeiah a cungkuem la a saii coeng. A yit neh a len, boei neh khodaeng, aka loeih neh sal te khaw amamih kah bantang kut ah khaw, a tal dongah khaw kutnoek daeng sak ham a saii.
And he gives to all, small and great, the poor and those who have wealth, the free and those who are not free, a mark on their right hand or on their brows;
17 Te nen te kutnoek aka khueh pawt atah pakhat long khaw a lai ham neh a yoih ham te coeng mahpawh. Te te satlung kah ming neh a ming dongkah toeknah coeng ni.
So that no man might be able to do trade but he who has the mark, even the name of the beast or the number of his name.
18 Cueihnah tah om he. Lungbuei aka khueh loh satlung kah toeknah te tae saeh. A toeknah tah hlang ni. A toeknah tah yarhuk sawmrhuk parhuk ni.
Here is wisdom. He who has knowledge let him get the number of the beast; because it is the number of a man: and his number is Six hundred and sixty-six.
