1 Te vaengah Saul tah Boeipa kah hnukbang rhoek te hihhamnah neh ngawnnah dongah phit pueng.
But Saul still breathing out threats and murder toward the disciples of the Lord, having gone to the high priest,
2 Te dongah khosoihham te a paan tih Damasku la, tunim la, longpuei kah a hmuh sarhui, huta khaw tongpa khaw a om atah khih pahoi tih, Jerusalem la thak ham te capat a bih,
requested from him letters in Damascus to the synagogues, so that if any he shall find of the way being men both and women, bound he may bring [them] to Jerusalem.
3 Te phoeiah cet tih Damasku a pha tom vaengah Vaan lamkah vangnah loh anih te buengrhuet a tue,
In now proceeding it came to pass [as] he [is] drawing near to Damascus, suddenly (also *N+kO) him flashed around a light (from *N+kO) heaven;
4 Te vaengah diklai dongla bung tih ol pakhat a yaak tah, “Saul, Saul, balae tih kai nan hnaemtaek?” a ti nah.
And having fallen on the ground he heard a voice saying to him; Saul Saul, why Me do you persecute?
5 Te dongah, “Nang te ulae Boeipa,” a ti nah hatah, “Kai tah nang loh na hnaemtaek Jesuh ni.
He said then; Who are You, Lord? And [He said] (Lord said: *k) I myself am Jesus whom you yourself are persecuting (hard to you to stingers to kick; *K)
6 Tedae thoo lamtah kho khuila kun laeh. Na saii hamla a kuek te namah taengah han thui bitni,” a ti nah.
(they tremble then and were astonished he said Lord what me you desire to do and the Lord [said] to him *K) (But *NO) do rise up and do enter into the city, and it will be told you (that *N+o) (what *NK+o) you it behooves to do.
7 Te vaengah anih neh aka yiin hmaih hlang rhoek loh tangawk la pai uh. Ol tah a yaak uh dae a muei tah hmu uh pawh,
And the men those traveling with him had stood speechless, hearing indeed the voice, no one however seeing.
8 Saul loh diklai lamkah a thoh hang vaengah a mik a dai hatah ba khaw hmu pawh.
Rose up then Saul from the ground, opened (however *NK+o) the eyes of him (no [thing] *N+kO) he was seeing; Leading by the hand then him they brought [him] to Damascus.
9 Te dongah anih te a mawt uh tih Damasku la a khuen uh. Te vaengah hmu voel pawt tih a caak a ok mueh la hnin thum om,
And he was days three without seeing and neither did he eat nor drink.
10 Te vaengah hnukbang pakhat, a ming ah Ananias te Damasku ah om, Anih te Boeipa loh mangthui neh, “Ananias,” a ti nah. Te dongah, “Boeipa ka om he,” a ti nah.
There was now a certain disciple in Damascus named Ananias, And said to him in a vision the Lord; Ananias. And he said; Behold me myself, Lord.
11 Te phoeiah Boeipa loh anih te, “Thoo, imhlai laklo ah a dueng la a khue te paan lamtah, Tarsus hoel, a ming ah Sual te Judas im ah tlap, Anih te thangthui la ko te.
And the Lord to him [said]; (Having risen up *NK+o) do go into the street which is being called Straight and do seek in [the] house of Judas Saul named of Tarsus; Behold for he is praying
12 A mangthui dongah hlang pakhat, a ming ah Ananias te ha kun tih anih te kut a tloeng thil daengah ni a mik tueng rhoe a tueng eh?,” a ti nah.
and he saw a man in a vision Ananias named having come and having put on him (the *no) (hands, *N+KO) so that he may see again.
13 Te dongah Ananias loh, “Boeipa, tekah hlang kawng te hlang taeng lamloh boeih ka yaak coeng. Jerusalem ah na hlangcim taengah a saii te khaw bahoeng thae aih coeng.
Answered but Ananias; Lord, (I have heard *N+kO) from many concerning man this, how many evils to the saints of You he did in Jerusalem;
14 He ah khaw na ming aka khue rhoek boeih te khih hamla khosoihham rhoek taengkah saithainah a khueh,” a ti nah.
and here he has authority from the chief priests to bind all those calling on the name of You.
15 Tedae Boeipa loh anih te, “Cet ngawn, anih tah Israel ca rhoek kah manghai rhoek neh namtom rhoek hmaiah ka ming aka phuei la kamah ham a tuek conghol paitaeh la om coeng.
Said however to him the Lord; do go, for a vessel of choice is to Me this [man] to carry the name of Me before (the *o) Gentiles (and *no) also kings [the] sons then of Israel.
16 Ka ming kongah aka patang ham anih bahoeng a kuek te amah taengah kamah loh ka tueng bitni,” a ti nah.
I myself for will show to him how much it behooves him for the name of Me to suffer.
17 Te daengah Ananias loh cet tih im khuila kun, Te phoeiah anih te kut a tloeng thil tih, “Ka manuca Saul, na lo phai vaengkah longpuei ah nang taengla aka phoe Boeipa Jesuh loh kho na hmuh tih mueihla cim baetawt sak ham kai n'tueih coeng,” a ti nah.
Went away then Ananias and entered into the house, and having laid upon him the hands he said; Saul Brother, the Lord has sent me, Jesus the [One] having appeared to you on the road by which you were coming, that you may see again and you may be filled [of the] Spirit Holy.
18 Te vaengah a mik lamkah te a lip bangla hel khaek, Kho khaw a hmuh dongah thoo tih anih te a nuem,
And immediately fell of him from the eyes (as *N+kO) scales, he regained his sight also (immediately *K) And having risen up he was baptized,
19 Te phoeiah cak ok a doe tih a thaa koep sai, Te vaengah Damasku kah hnukbang rhoek taengah khohnin a yol om.
and having taken food (he strengthened. *NK+o) He was now (Saul *k) with those in Damascus [the] disciple, s days [for] some;
20 Te phoeiah Jesuh tah Pathen capa ni tila tunim ah pahoi a hoe.
And immediately in the synagogues he was proclaiming (Jesus, *N+KO) that He is the Son of God.
21 Aka hnatun rhoek boeih loh limlum uh tih, “Jerusalem ah Boeipa ming aka phoei rhoek aka thup te anih nim, anih pawt nim. Amih te pin vetih khosoihham rhoek taengah aka thak ham ni he la ha pawk dae,” a ti uh.
Were amazed then all those hearing and were saying; Surely this is the [one] having caused havoc (in *N+kO) Jerusalem those calling on name this? And here for this he had come that bound them he may bring to the chief priests.
22 Tedae Saul tah lat thaphoh uh tih Damasku kah Judah khosa rhoek te a huek, Te tah Khrih ni tila a cui sak.
Saul however all the more was empowered and was confounding the Jews those dwelling in Damascus, proving that this is the Christ.
23 Tedae khohnin muep a di vaengah tah anih te ngawn ham Judah rhoek loh a taeng uh.
When now were passed days many, plotted together the Jews to execute him;
24 Amih kah mangtaengnah te Saul loh a ming. Te vaengah anih ngawn hamla khoyin neh khothaih ah khaw vongka te a tawt uh.
became known however to Saul the plot of them. (They were themselves watching now *N+kO) (also *no) the gates by day and also night, so that him they may execute;
25 Tedae a hnukbang rhoek loh khoyin ah a khuen uh tih voh khuiah a sang uh phoeiah pangbueng longah a colh uh.
having taken however the disciples (of him *NO) by night through the wall they let down him having lowered [him] in a basket.
26 Jerusalem la a pawk vaengah hnukbang rhoek taengah kap ham a noemcai hatah anih te boeih a rhih uh. Hnukbang ni tila tangnah uh pawh.
Having arrived then (Saul *k) (in *NK+o) Jerusalem (he was trying *N+kO) to join to the disciples; And all were afraid of him not believing that he is a disciple.
27 Tedae Barnabas long tah anih te a sambai tih caeltueih rhoek taengla a khuen. Te phoeiah longpuei ah Boeipa a hmuh tih anih a voek te khaw, Damasku ah Jesuh ming dongah a sayalh te khaw, “amih taengah a thui pah.
Barnabas however having taken him he brought [him] to the apostles and he related to them how on the road he had seen the Lord and that He had spoken to him and how in Damascus he had spoken boldly in the name of Jesus.
28 Te dongah Jerusalem kah a voei a bal rhuet ah amih tengah om tih Boeipa ming neh sayalh la a thui.
And he was with them coming in and going out (in *N+kO) Jerusalem,
29 Tedae a thui vaengah Hellenist rhoek neh oelh uh thae tih anih te ngawn ham cai uh.
(and *k) speaking boldly in the name of the Lord (Jesus, *K) He was speaking also and he was debating with the Hellenists; but they were seeking to execute him.
30 A manuca rhoek loh a ming dongah anih te Kaiserea la a khuen uh tih Tarsus la a tueih uh.
Having known [it] however the brothers brought down him to Caesarea and sent away him to Tarsus.
31 Te vaengah Judea, Galilee neh Samaria pum boeih kah hlangboel long khaw ngaimongnah a dang. Boeipa rhihnah neh hlinsai uh tih pongpa uh. Te dongah Cim Mueihla kah thaphohnah neh pinguh uh.
(the *N+kO) indeed then (church *N+KO) throughout all of Judea and Galilee and Samaria (had *N+kO) peace, (being edified *N+kO) and (going on *N+kO) in the fear of the Lord, and in the comfort of the Holy Spirit (it were multiplied. *N+kO)
32 Peter khaw khotom rhali aka hil la om tih Lydda kah khosa hlangcim rhoek taeng khaw a pha,
It came to pass that now Peter passing through all [quarters] descending also to the saints those inhabiting Lydda.
33 Te vaengah aka khawn tih, phakdoeng dongah kum rhet aka yalh, hlang pakhat, a ming ah Aeneas te a hmuh,
He found then there a man certain named Aeneas for years eight lying on (a bed *N+kO) who was paralyzed.
34 Peter loh, “Aeneas, Jesuh Khrih loh nang n'hoeih sak coeng. Thoo lamtah namah te khoem uh laeh,” a ti nah vaengah hlat thoo,
And said to him Peter; Aeneas, heals you Jesus Christ; do rise up and do make the bed for yourself. And immediately he rose up;
35 Lydda neh Sharon kah khosa rhoek boeih loh anih te a hmuh uh vaengah Boeipa taengla bal uh.
And saw him all those inhabiting Lydda and (Sharon, *NK+o) who turned to the Lord.
36 Joppa ah khaw hnukbang pakhat, a ming ah Tabitha te om van. Te te Dorkas a ti tih a thuicaih. Anih tah khoboe then neh a soep la om tih doedannah khaw a saii.
In Joppa now certain there was a disciple named Tabitha, which being translated is called Dorcas; She was full of works good and of alms that she was doing;
37 Tedae a khohnin a pha vaengah tah anih te tlo tih duek. Te dongah anih te tui a hluk uh tih imhman ah a khueh uh.
It came to pass however in the days those [that] having become sick she to die; Having washed [her] then put [her] they in an upper room.
38 Lydda neh Joppa he tah rhep a om dongah hnukbang rhoek loh Peter a om te a yaak uh. Te dongah hlang panit te a tueih uh tih, “Uelh mueh la kaimih taengah hang hil dae, “tila a tah uh.
Near now being Lydda to Joppa the disciples having heard that Peter is in it, sent two men to him imploring; Not (you may delay *N+kO) coming to (us. *N+KO)
39 Te dongah Peter te thoo tih amih te a puei, Anih a pha vaengah imhman la ana khuen uh. Anih a pai vanneh nuhmai rhoek loh boeih rhap uh tih Dorkas loh amih taengkah om vaengkah a saii angki neh himbai boeih te a tueng uh.
Having risen up then Peter went with them; who having arrived they brought [him] into the upper room, And stood by him all the widows weeping and showing [the] tunics and garments how much was making with them being Dorcas.
40 Tedae Peter loh poengla boeih a tueih tih khuklu cungkueng doela thangthui. Te phoeiah rhok taengla mael tih, “Tabitha, thoo,” a ti nah. Anih long khaw a mik te a daii hatah Peter te a hmuh tih koe ngol,
Having put then outside all Peter and having bowed the knees he prayed; And having turned to the body he said; Tabitha, do arise. And she opened the eyes of her and having seen Peter she sat up.
41 Te phoeiah anih te kut a doe tih a thoh, Hlangcim rhoek neh nuhmai rhoek te a khue tih Dorcas a hing te a tueng,
Having given then to her [his] hand he raised up her; Having called then the saints and the widows he presented her living.
42 Joppa kah tom boeih loh a ming la om coeng dongah hlang te yet loh Boeipa te a tangnah uh.
Known then it became throughout all of Joppa, and believed many on the Lord.
43 Te vaengkah khohnin te yet a om khuiah Joppa kah hlang pakhat maehpho Simon taengah puet naeh.
It came to pass then days many staying (he *ko) in Joppa with a certain Simon a tanner.
