3 Te dongah Peter loh, “Ananias, balae tih Satan loh na thinko a hah sak, Mueihla Cim te na laithae thil. Te dongah ni khohmuen phu te na uep coeng.
Said however Peter; Ananias, because of why has filled Satan the heart of you to lie to [for] you the Spirit Holy and to keep back (yourself *o) from the proceeds of the land?
4 Aka om tangtae tah namah taengah om tih na yoih vaengah namah ah saithainah a om moenih a? Balae tih na thinko khuiah te bang hno te na khueh. Hlang taeng bueng mueh la Pathen taengah khaw na laithae coeng,” a ti nah.
Surely remaining to you it was remaining And having been sold in the own authority it was? Why for did you purpose in the heart of you deed this? Not you have lied to men but to God!
5 Te ol te Ananias loh a yaak vaengah cungku tih duek. Te dongah aka ya rhoek boeih te rhihnah loh muep a kun thil.
Hearing now Ananias words these having fallen down he breathed his last. And came fear great upon all those hearing (these things; *k)
6 Te dongah cadong rhoek loh thoo uh tih anih te a cun uh phoeiah a khuen uh tih a up uh.
Having arisen then the younger [men] covered him and having carried [him] out they buried [him].

It came to pass now about hours three afterward also the wife of him not knowing that having come to pass came in.
8 Te vaengah anih te Peter loh, “Kai taengah thui laeh, khohmuen na thuung te heyet bueng nim,” a ti nah hatah, “Ue heyet ni,” a ti nah.
Replied then (to *no) (her *N+kO) Peter; do tell me if for so much the land you sold? And she said; Yes for so much.
9 Tedae anih te Peter loh, “Balae tih Boeipa Mueihla noemcai ham na rhoih uh rhoi. Thohka kah na va aka up rhoek kah a kho loh nang khaw n'thak bal ni he,” a ti nah.
But Peter (said *k) to her; Why [is it] for it was agreed together by you to test the Spirit of [the] Lord? Behold the feet of those having buried the husband of you [are] at the door and they will carry out you.
10 Te vaengah pahoi cungku tih a kho kungah duek bal. Te dongah cadong rhoek aka kun rhoek loh anih te a duek la a hmuh uh vaengah a khuen uh tih a va taengah a up uh.
She fell down then immediately (at *N+kO) the feet of him and breathed her last; Having come in then the young [men] found her dead, and having carried out they buried [her] by the husband of her;
11 Te dongah hlangboel boeih neh te te aka ya rhoek boeih te rhihnah loh muep a kun thil.
And came fear great upon all the church and upon all those hearing these things.

of the now rest no [one] was daring to join with them, but were magnifying them the people.
14 Boeipa aka tangnah huta tongpa rhaengpuei loh taoe thap uh thae.
more now were added believing in the Lord, multitudes of men both and women,
15 Te dongah Peter ha pawk atah a mueihlip rhung long khaw bet dah saeh tila tattloel te thingkong neh phakdoeng soah a ngol sak uh tih toltung la a khuen uh.
so as (even *no) (into *N+kO) the streets to bring out the sick and to put [them] on (cots *N+kO) and mats, that when is coming Peter at least at least the shadow (shall envelop *NK+o) some of them.
16 Jerusalem khopuei kaepvai kah rhaengpuei long khaw ha tingtun uh. Tattloel khaw, rhalawt mueihla loh a ven rhoek te khaw a khuen uh tih boeih hoeih uh.
Were coming together now also the multitude from the surrounding cities (into *k) Jerusalem bringing [the] sick and [those] being tormented by spirits unclean, who were healed all.
17 Khosoihham a thoh nen tah a taengkah rhoek boeih, Sadducee kah buhlaelh la aka om rhoek loh kohlopnah neh khuk hah uh.
Having risen up however the high priest and all those with him, which is being [the] sect of the Sadducees, were filled with jealousy
18 Te phoeiah caeltueih rhoek te kut a hlah thil uh tih thongim ah langya la a hlak uh.
and they laid the hands (of them *k) on the apostles and put them in [the] jail public.
19 Tedae khoyin ah Boeipa kah puencawn loh thongim thohka te a ong tih a mawt.
An angel however of [the] Lord during (the *k) night (having opened *N+kO) the doors of the prison, having brought out then them said;
20 Te phoeiah amih rhoi te, “Cet rhoi, bawkim kah pilnam taengah pai rhoi lamtah hingnah ol he boeih thui rhoi,” a ti nah.
do go and having stood do speak in the temple to the people all the declarations of the life this.

Having heard now they entered at the dawn into the temple and were teaching. Having come now the high priest and those with him they called together the Council even all the Senate of the sons of Israel and sent to the prison house to bring them.
22 Tedae tueihyoeih rhoek loh a pha uh vaengah amih rhoi te thongim khuiah a hmu uh pawt dongah bal uh tih puen uh.
And having come [the] officers not did find them in the prison. having returned then they reported back

saying that The (indeed *k) prison house we found shut with all security and the guards (outside *K) already standing (before *N+kO) the doors, having opened [them] however inside no [one] we found.
24 Bawkim kah imtawt boei neh khosoihham loh he ol a yaak vaengah amih ham te metlam a om co tila khobing uh.
When now they heard words these both (the priest and the *K) captain of the temple and the chief priests were perplexed concerning them, what maybe would be this.
25 Te vaengah pakhat ha pawk tih, “Thongim ah na khueh uh hlang rhoi loh bawkim ah pai rhoi tih pilnam a thuituen rhoi he, “tila amih taengah a puen pah.
Having come then a certain one he reported to them (saying *k) that Behold the men whom you put in the prison are in the temple already standing and teaching the people!
26 Te dongah imtawt boei neh a tueihyoeih rhoek te cet uh tih amih rhoi te a mawt uh. Tedae pilnam kah a dae te a rhih uh dongah vikvueknah neh saii uh pawh.
Then having gone the captain with the officers (was bringing *N+kO) them not with force, they were afraid of for the people (so that *k) lest they may be stoned.
27 A khuen uh neh amih rhoi te khoboei hmaiah a pai rhoi vaengah khosoihham loh a dawt tih,
Having brought then them they set [them] in the Council. And asked them the high priest
28 “Te ming neh thuituen pawt ham nangmih rhoi taengah oluen khaw kang uen uh moenih a? Tedae nangmih kah thuituennah neh Jerusalem ah bae coeng he. Hlang thii he kaimih soah tla saeh na ti rhoi a?” a ti nah.
saying; (Surely *NK) by a charge we commanded you not to teach in name this. And behold you have filled Jerusalem with the teaching of you and you intend to bring upon us the blood of the man this.
29 Peter neh caeltueih rhoek loh a doo uh, “Hlang ol lakah Pathen ol ngai lat ham a kuek.
Answering however Peter and the apostles said; To obey it is necessary to God rather than to men.
30 A pa rhoek kah Pathen loh Jesuh a thoh coeng. Anih na ngawn uh tih thing dongah na hoei uh.
The God of the fathers of us raised up Jesus whom you yourselves killed having hanged [Him] on a tree;

Him God [as] Prince and Savior exalted by the right hand of Him to give repentance to Israel and forgiveness of sins.
32 Te dongah kaimih loh te olthang kah laipai la ka om uh tih, anih ol aka ngai rhoek te Pathen loh Mueihla Cim a paek coeng,” a ti rhoi.
And we ourselves are (of him *k) witnesses of the declarations these and also the Spirit (now *k) Holy whom has given God to those obeying Him.
33 Tedae aka ya rhoek loh phuk a paeng uh dongah amih te thup hamla cai uh.
And (having heard *NK+o) they felt cut up and (they were desiring *N+kO) to execute them.
34 Te vaengah Pharisee pakhat, a ming ah Gamaliel, pilnam boeih loh saya la a hinyah te, khoboei lakli ah thoo tih hlang rhoek te poeng la rhaih khueh ham ol a paek.
Having risen up however a certain [man] in the Council a Pharisee named Gamaliel, a teacher of the law honored by all the people, he commanded [them] outside for a short (while *k) the (men *N+KO) to put,
35 Te phoeiah amih te, “Israel hlang rhoek, he hlang rhoek taengah metla saii ham na cai uh khaw namamih ngaithuen uh.
He said then to them; Men Israelites, do take heed to yourselves with men these what you are about to do.
36 Amih hlankah Theudas a cungpoeh hnin ah khaw amah te khat khat la om ham a thui dongah hlang he hlangmi yali tluk loh anih taengla bop uh. Tedae anih a thup uh vaengah anih aka ngaitang boeih loh boeih milh uh tih a honghi la poeh.
Before for these days rose up Theudas affirming to be somebody himself, to whom (were joined *N+k+o) of men number (about *N+kO) four hundred; who was executed, and all as many as were persuaded by him they were dispersed and they it came to no [thing].
37 Hlangmi soepnah tue vaengah khaw Galilee kah Judah te phoe bal tih a hnukah pilnam te a yoek bal. Tedae anih khaw poci tih anih aka ngaitang boeih tah muep paltham uh.
After this man rose up Judas the Galilean in the days of the registration and drew away people (significant number of *K) after him; And he And he perished, and all as many as were persuaded by him were scattered.
38 Te dongah nangmih ham ka thui coeng he. Hekah hlang rhoek he nong tak uh lamtah hlah uh mai. He he hlang kah mangtaengnah neh a khoboe la a om atah a phae pah bitni.
And now I say to you, do withdraw from men these and (do release *N+kO) them, for if shall be from men plan this or work this, it will be overthrown;
39 Tedae Pathen lamkah la a om atah amih te na palet thai mahpawh, nangmih te boekoek la m'hmuh uh boel saeh,” a ti nah vaengah anih ol te a rhooi uh.
if however from God it is, not (you will be able *N+kO) to overthrow (them, *N+KO) otherwise otherwise also fighting against God You shall be found.
40 Te dongah caeltueih rhoek te a khue uh tih a tam uh. Jesuh ming neh thui pawt ham khaw a uen uh tih a hlah uh.
They were persuaded now by him, and having called in the apostles having beaten they commanded [them] not to speak in the name of Jesus and released (them. *k)
41 Te vaengah, “A ming ham yahbai nen khaw n'tiing uh pai,” a ti uh dongah khoboei hmai lamloh omngaih la mael uh.
They indeed therefore were departing rejoicing from [the] presence of the Council, that they had been counted worthy for the Name (of him *K+O) to suffer dishonor;
42 Tedae bawkim khui neh im lamkah hnin takuem ah toeng mueh la a thuituen uh tih Khrih Jesuh te a phong uh.
Every then day in the temple and in house not they were ceasing teaching and evangelising [that] the Christ [is] Jesus.
