< 1 Timothy 6 >

As many as are under a yoke [as] slaves, [their] own masters of all honor worthy they should esteem, so that not the name of God and the teaching may be denigrated.

Those now believing having masters not they should despise [them] because brothers they are; but rather they should serve [them], because believing [ones] they are and beloved by the good service being helped. These things do teach and do exhort.
3 Khatkhat loh a thuituen tholh tih, mamih Boeipa Jesuh Khrih kah olka cim neh hingcimnah vanbangla thuituenah te a paan pawt atah koevoei uh tih a hmat hae moenih.
If anyone teaches another doctrine and not he draws near to sound words of the Lord of us Jesus Christ and the according to godliness teaching,
4 Tedae olpungnah neh naenamnah ham ni a yahuem. Te lamkah loh uethnetnah, tohhaemnah, soehsalnah neh a thae la ngaihoihnah ha thoeng.
he has been puffed up nothing knowing but unhealthy about controversies and disputes about words, out of which come envy, strife, slander, suspicions evil,
5 Olcenkama loh hlang kah lungbuei te a phae tih oltak te a hmil. Calomnah te hingcimnah ni tila a poek uh.
[and] constant frictions corrupted among men in mind and defrauded of the truth, holding a means of gain to be godliness (do depart from [one of] such. *K)
6 Tedae hingcimnah dongah rhaemhalnah ni a len koek calomnah la a om.
Is however gain great godliness with contentment.
7 Diklai la bakhaw n'khuen uh pawt bangla diklai lamloh pakhat khaw n'khuen uh thai moenih.
No [thing] for we brought into the world, (evident *K) because neither to carry out anything are we able;
8 Tedae aka om duen cakok neh pueinak nen he rhaemhal uh sih.
Having however sustenance and coverings, with these we will be content.
9 Tedae khuehtawn ham aka ngaih rhoek tah cuekhalhnah neh thaang ah khaw, angnah dongkah hoehhamnah cungkuem neh nganboh dongah khaw cungku uh. Te long te rhawpnah neh pocinah khuila hlang a buek sak.
Those however desiring to be rich they fall into temptation and a snare and desires many foolish and harmful, which plunge men into ruin and destruction.
10 Tangkangaih tah boethae cungkuem kah a yung la om. Te te aka nai hlangvang tah tangnah lamloh phael uh tih amamih te lungnat loh mat a cueh.
A root for of all kinds of evils is the love of money, which some stretching after were seduced away from the faith and themselves pierced with sorrows many.
11 Tedae aw Pathen kah hlang nang loh he he rhaelrham tak lamtah duengnah, hingcimnah, tangnah, lungnah, uehnah, kodonah te huul lah.
You yourself however, O man of God, these things do flee, do pursue now righteousness, godliness, faith, love, endurance, ([and] gentleness; *N+KO)
12 Tangnah kah thingthuelnah te a then la thingthuel lamtah dungyan hingnah te lo lah. Te ham ni ng'khue tih a then olphoei te laipai a yet hmaiah na phong. (aiōnios g166)
do fight the good fight of the faith, do lay hold of the eternal life to which (also *k) you were called and did confess the good confession before many witnesses. (aiōnios g166)
13 A cungkuem aka hing sak Pathen neh Pontius Pilat hmaiah aka then olphoei aka phong Jesuh Khrih hmaiah nang kang uen.
I charge you before God who (is giving life *N+kO) to all things and Christ Jesus the [One who] having testified before Pontius Pilate the good confession
14 Mamih Boeipa Jesuh Khrih kah a phoenah duela olpaek te cuemhmuet neh hmabuet la na tuem mako.
to keep you the commandment without stain, above reproach until the appearing of the Lord of us Jesus Christ,
15 Te khaw amah tue ah tah yoethen neh mangpa bueng loh, manghai rhoek kah manghai neh boei rhoek kah boei loh a phoe ni.
which in seasons [their] own He will display the blessed and alone Sovereign, the King of those being kings and [the] Lord of those being lords,
16 Amah bueng ni aka nguel la om tih m'phavawt vangnah khuiah kol. Anih aka hmu he hlang om pawt tih a hmuh ham khaw coeng thai pawh. Amah taengah te hinyahnah neh thaomnah dungyan la om saeh. Amen. (aiōnios g166)
alone having immortality, in light dwelling unapproachable, whom has seen no [one] of men nor to see is able, to whom [be] honor and dominion eternal, Amen. (aiōnios g166)
17 Ta kumhal kah kuirhang rhoek te kopoek sang pawt ham, aka nguel pawh khuehtawn soah ngaiuep pawt ham uen lah. Tedae omngaihbawnnah ham cungkuem te kodam la mamih aka pae Pathen taengah, (aiōn g165)
To the rich in the present age do instruct [them] not to be high-minded nor to have hope in of riches [the] uncertainty but (on *N+kO) God (who is living *K) who is providing us all things richly for enjoyment, (aiōn g165)
18 a then sai ham, bibi then neh khuehtawn ham, moeihoeih tonghnae la om ham,
to do good, to be rich in works good, generous in distributing to be, ready to share,
19 Amamih hmailong ham aka then khoengim te a tunghlaep uh tih hingnah taktak te a khueh uh van ham uen ne.
treasuring up for themselves a foundation good for the future, so that they may take hold of that which ([is] truly *N+KO) life.
20 Aw Timothy, na hnokhueh te tuem ne. A rhonging, olhong neh mingthae aka phuei mingnah dongkah kingkalhnah te rhael ne.
O Timothy, the (deposit committed [to you] *N+kO) do guard avoiding the profane empty babblings and opposing arguments falsely called knowledge,
21 Angen loh tangnah dongah ol a caeng uh te a hlihloeh sakuh. Lungvatnah nangmih taengah om saeh.
which some professing from the faith went astray. Grace [be] with (you [all] *N+kO) (Amen. *KO) (to Timothy first it was written from Laodicea which is capital of Phrygia of Pacatiana. *K)
