1 Thessalonika 4

1 Te dongah manuca rhoek, Boeipa Jesuh ming neh nangmih kan dawt uh tih kan hloep uh. Te daengah ni nangmih popang ham neh Pathen kolo ham metla a kuek te kaimih taengkah na dang uh vanbangla rhep na pongpa uh tih taoe na hoeikhang uh eh.

Finally then, brothers, we implore you and we exhort [you] in [the] Lord Jesus (so that *NO*) even as you have received from us in what manner it behooves you to walk and to please God (even as also you walk [now], *NO*) so you may abound more;

2 Boeipa Jesuh rhang neh nangmih taengah me bang oluen kan paek uh te khaw na ming uh.

You know for what instructions we gave you through the Lord Jesus.

3 Nangmih kah cimcaihnah he Pathen kah kongaih la a om dongah, nangmih loh Cukhalnah te rhael ham,

This for is [the] will of God, the sanctification of you: To abstain you [are] from sexual immorality;

4 nangmih pakhat rhip loh namamih kah koe te cimcaihnah neh hinyahnah dongah kaelh ham te ming ham,

to know each of you [how] the his own vessel to control in holiness and honor,

5 Pathen aka ming pawh namtom rhoek bangla cukhalhnah, huebawtnah khuiah om uh boeh.

not in [the] passion of lust as also the Gentiles not knowing God;

6 Amah manuca he dumlai neh khumla boel lamtah omtoem boeh. Te boeih te aka thuung la Boeipa a om dongah nangmih taengah ka thui uh tih kang uen uh van.

not to go beyond and to overreach in the matter the brother of him; because avenging [is] (the *k*) Lord concerning all these things even as also we told before you and thoroughly warned.

7 Rhongingnah ham pawt tih cimcaihnah khuiah ni mamih he Pathen loh n'khue.

Not for has called us God to impurity but into holiness.

8 Te dongah aka aal long tah hlang aal pawt tih nangmih taengah amah kah Mueihla Cim aka pae Pathen ni a aal.

So then the [one] rejecting [this] not man disregards but God the [One] also (giving *N(k)O*) the Spirit of Him Holy to (you. *N(K)O*)

9 Tedae manuca lungnah kawng te nangmih taengah kan daek ham ngoe pawh. Khat neh khat lungnah ham te nangmih tah pathen kah a thuituen lana om uh.

Concerning now brotherly love no need you have [for me] to write to you; yourselves for you yourselves taught by God are in order to love one another;

10 Makedonia pum kah manuca rhoek boeih taengah khaw na saii uh ngawn coeng. Tedae manuca rhoek nangmih te taoe pungtai ham kan hloep uh.

And for you are doing this toward all the brothers the [ones] in all Macedonia. We exhort however you, brothers, to abound more and more

11 Nangmih kan uen uh vanbangla a dingsuek la tlungmu ham, amah la saii ham koi tah namamih kut neh saii uh.

and to strive earnestly to live quietly and to attend to [your] own and to work with the own hands of you even as you we commanded;

12 Te daengah ni rhamvoel rhoek taengah a rhoeprhui la na pongpa uh vetih a ngoengaih na khueh uh pawt eh.

so that you may walk properly toward those outside and of no one need may have.

13 Manuca rhoek aka ip rhoek ham na mangvawt uh te ka ngaih uh moenih. Te daengah ni ngaiuepnah aka khueh mueh hlang tloe rhoek bangla na ko a thae uh pawt eh.

Not (we do want *N(K)O*) but you to be ignorant, brothers, concerning those (themselves falling asleep, *N(k)O*) so that not you may be grieved even as also the rest those not having hope.

14 Jesuh tah duek tih tho tila n'tangnah uh atah Jesuh ah aka ip rhoek te khaw Pathen loh amah taengah a khuen van ni.

If for we believe that Jesus died and rose again, so also God those having fallen asleep through Jesus will bring with Him.

15 Boeipa kah olka neh nangmih ham ka thui uh. Boeipa a lonah duela aka om tih aka hing mamih loh aka ip taengtae n'khaal uh loengloeng mahpawh.

This for to you we declare in [the] word of [the] Lord that we ourselves the living who are remaining untill the coming of the Lord certainly not may precede those having fallen asleep;

16 Boeipa amah te tamhoenah neh, puencawn boei kah ol neh, Pathen kah olueng neh, vaan lamkah ha rhum ni. Te vaengah Khrih ah aka duek rhoek te lamhma la thoo uh ni.

because Himself the Lord with a loud command, with [the] voice of an archangel and with [the] trumpet of God will descend from heaven, and the dead in Christ will rise first,

17 Te phoeiah mamih aka hing tih aka om rhoek te amih neh thikat la yilh dongkah boeipa te doe ham khomai neh pomsang hang vetih boeipa neh kumhal la n'om uh van ni.

Then we ourselves the living those remaining together with them we will be caught away in [the] clouds for [the] meeting of the Lord in [the] air; and so always with [the] Lord we will be.

18 Te dongah he olka neh thikat la hloep uh thae.

Therefore do encourage one another with words these.
