< 1 Khawrin 7 >

1 Na ca daek kawng dongah huta tongpa a ben pawt te then coeng.
Concerning now [the] things about which you wrote (to me *KO) [It is] good for a man a woman not to touch;
2 Tedae Cukhalnah dongah a yuu rhip khueh uh saeh lamtah a va rhip khueh uh saeh.
Because of however sexual immorality each man his own wife should have, and each [woman] the [her] own husband should have.
3 Huta te tongpa loh docanah neh thuung saeh. Te vanbangla huta long khaw tongpa taengah khueh van saeh.
To the wife the husband the (debt *N+kO) (good will *K) should fulfill; likewise now also the wife to the husband.
4 Huta loh amah pum te a hutnah moenih. A va long ni a hutnah. Te vanbangla tongpa long khaw amah pum a hutnah moenih huta long ni a hutnah.
The wife [her] own body not has authority over but the husband; likewise now also the husband [his] own body not has authority over but the wife.
Not do deprive one another if surely even when by mutual agreement for a time, that (you may be devoted *N+kO) (to fastings and *K) to prayer and again together the same (may be, *N+kO) so that not may tempt you Satan through the lack of self-control of you.
6 Tedae hekah he olpaek nen pawt tih rhoirhinah nen ni ka thui.
This now I say by way of concession not by way of command.
7 Hlang boeih he kamah bangla om sak ham ka ngaih pataeng. Pathen taengkah kutdoe te amah ah pakhat rhip loh he he, pakhat loh ke tila rhip a khueh.
I wish (now *N+kO) all men to be like even myself; But each [their] own has gift from God, (one [has] *N+kO) indeed this, (one *N+kO) however that.
8 Pumhong rhoek neh nuhmai rhoek te kai bangla om uh koinih amih ham then dae ka ti.
I say now to the unmarried and to the widows, good for them (it is *k) if they shall remain as also I. myself also I. myself
9 Tedae a kuemsuem uh pawt atah imkhueh saeh. A cahoeh lakah tah yuloh vaksak tih a om te then ngai.
If however not they have self-control, they should marry; better for it is (to marry *NK+o) than to burn with passion.
10 Tedae rhukom rhoek te ka uen he kai long pawt tih Boeipa long ni ng'uen.
To those now having married I give this charge — not I myself but the Lord — A wife from a husband not is to be separated;
11 Huta loh a va te maa boel saeh. Tedae a maa oeh atah pumhong la tlumhmawn saeh. Te lakah atah a va te moeithen saeh lamtah a va long khaw a yuu te hnoo boel saeh.
if however indeed she shall be separated, she should remain unmarried or to the husband she should be reconciled; and a husband a wife not is to send away.
12 Tedae a tloe rhoek taengah kai loh Boeipa long moenih ka ti. Manuca khat khat loh aka tangnahmueh te a yuu la a khueh tih anih te a taengah kol ham a naep atah anih te hnoo boel saeh.
To the now rest say I myself — not the Lord: If any brother a wife has unbelieving and she consents to dwell with him, not he should divorce her;
13 Huta long khaw aka tangnahmueh khat khat te a va la a khueh tih tongpa long khaw anih taengah kol ham a naep atah a va te maa boel saeh.
And a woman (if *NO) (any *N+kO) has a husband unbelieving and (he *N+kO) consents to dwell with her, not she should divorce (the *no) (husband. *N+kO)
14 Aka tangnahmueh tongpa tah a yuu lamloh a ciim tih aka tangnahmueh huta tah manuca lamloh ciim coeng. Te pawt koinih na ca rhoek te rhalawt la om uh sui dae a cim la a om uh coeng he ta.
Has been sanctified for the husband unbelieving in the wife, and has been sanctified the wife unbelieving in the (brother; *N+kO) else then the children of you unclean are, now however holy they are.
15 Tedae aka tangnahmueh loh a maa atah maa ngawn saeh. Manuca neh ngannu tah tebang dongah sal a bi sak voel moenih. Tedae rhoepnah khuila nangmih te Pathen loh n'khue coeng.
If however the unbeliever separates himself, he should separate himself; not has bee under bondage the brother or the sister in such [cases]; Into however peace has called (you *N+KO) God.
How for know you, wife, if the husband you will save? Or how know you, husband, if the wife you will save?
17 Hlang khat rhip te Boeipa loh a tultael tih Pathen loh a khue vanbangla rhip kan uh tangloeng saeh.
only except to each as (has assigned *NK+o) the Lord to each as has called God so he should walk; And thus in the churches all I prescribe.
18 Yahvinrhet pakhat la a khue coeng te tah paa boel saeh. Pumdul khuikah pakhat te a khue coeng atah yahvinrhet boel mai saeh.
circumcised anyone was called? Not he should become uncircumcised; In uncircumcision (has been called *N+kO) anyone Not he should d be circumcise.
19 yahvinrhetnah te a hoeihae la om. Pumdul khaw a hoeihae la om. Tedae Pathen kah olpaek te kuem saeh.
Circumcision no [thing] is and uncircumcision no [thing] is but keeping [the] commandments of God.
20 Khuenah khuila a khue rhoek boeih tah a khuenah dongah naeh saeh.
Each in the calling in which he has been called, in this he should abide.
Slave [being] were you called? not you should it concern; but if even you are able free to become, rather do take advantage.
The [one] for in [the] Lord having been called [being] a slave a freedman of [the] Lord is; likewise (and *k) the [one] free having been called a slave is of Christ.
23 A phu neh n'lai uh dongah hlang kah sal la om uh boeh.
With a price you were bought; not do become slaves of men.
24 Manuca rhoek te te khuila rhip a khue. Te nen te Pathen taengah naeh saeh.
Each wherein that he was called, brothers, in that he should abide with God.
25 Oila ham te tah Boeipa kah olpaek ka khueh pawh. Tedae a rhen tangtae vanbangla Boeipa dongah uepom la om ham poeknah ka paek.
Concerning now the virgins a commandment of [the] Lord not I have, judgment however I give as received mercy from [the] Lord trustworthy to be.
26 A kueknah te ha pai coeng dongah a then la om he ka poek van. Te tlam te hlang taengah a then la om tangloeng saeh.
I think therefore this good being because of the being present necessity, that [it is] good for a man in the same manner to remain.
Have you been bound to a wife? Not do seek to be loosed; Have you been loosed from a wife? Not do seek a wife.
Oila long khaw va a sak atah a tholh moenih.
If however also you shall marry, not you did sin; and if shall marry the virgin, not she did sin; tribulation however in the flesh will have such; I myself now you am sparing.
29 Manuca rhoek, hekah he ka thui dae a tue loh tok coeng. Tahae lamkah tah yuu aka khueh khaw aka khueh pawt banglam a om pueng eh.
This now I say, brothers: The season shortened (is; *no) From now on (is *k) that both those having wives as none having may be,
30 Aka rhap long te khaw aka rhap pawt bangla, aka omngaih long khaw aka omngaih pawt bangla, aka lai long khaw aka khueh pawt bangla,
and those weeping as not weeping, and those rejoicing as not rejoicing, and those buying as not possessing,
31 Diklai aka hnonah rhoek lawn boeh. Diklai kah he tah a suisak khum coeng.
and those using (world *N+kO) (this *K) as not using [it] as their own. Is passing away for the present form of the world this;
I desire now you without concern to be. The unmarried man cares for the [things] of the Lord, how (he may please *N+kO) the Lord;
33 Tedae rhukom tah a yuu te kolo sak ham Diklai kah bitat dongah mawn saeh.
the [one] however having been married he cares for the [things] of the world, how (he may please *N+kO) the wife,
34 Tedae a cikok dongah pumhong nu long khaw, oila long khaw Boeipa kah bitat dongah mawn saeh. Te daengah ni pum neh mueihla ah khaw a cim la a om eh. Tedae rhukom nu tah a va te kolo sak ham Diklai kah bitat dongah mawn saeh.
(and *no) has he been divided. And the woman unmarried and virgin cares for the [things] of the Lord, that she may be holy both (in *no) body and (in the *no) spirit; the [one] however having been married she cares for the [things] of the world, how (she may please *N+kO) the husband.
35 Nangmih te amah rhoeikhang ham ka thui coeng he. Nangmih te kuiokrhui kan sui thil moenih. Tedae Boeipa te a koihhilh neh liplip ngaan sak ham ni ka thui.
This now for the of you yourselves ([your] benefit *N+kO) I say, not that a restraint you I may place upon but for what [is] seemly and devoted to the Lord without distraction.
36 Tedae pakhat loh a oila nah te savek tih suiham la a om khaw a poek khaming. Te vaengah a kuek aka om van te tah a ngaih bangla rhoi sak. A tholh moenih yuva uh rhoi saeh.
If however anyone to be behaving improperly to the virgin of him supposes, if she shall be beyond youth, and so it ought to be, what he wills he should do; not he does sin, they should marry.
37 Tedae a thinko ah khak aka pai te tah a kueknah a om moenih. Amah a kongaih kawng dongah saithainah a khueh ngawn. He tla ko a taam khaw a oila te tuem ham ni a thinko ah balh a saii coeng.
He who however has stood in the heart (of him *no) firm not having necessity, authority however having over the own will, and this has judged in the (own *N+kO) heart to keep his own virgin, well (he will do. *N+kO)
38 Te dongah amah kah oila aka bae tah balh a saii coeng. Yuloh neh vasak pawt long khaw a then ni a saii.
So then also the [one] (now *o) (giving in marriage *N+kO) (his own virgin *NO) well does, (and *N+kO) the [one] not (giving in marriage *N+kO) better (will do. *N+kO)
39 Huta tah a hing tue khuiah a va loh a pin. Tedae a va te a duek atah aka loeih la om coeng tih a ngaih te tah Boeipa ming neh dawk vanah saeh.
A wife has been bound (to [the] law *K) for as long as time may live the husband of her; if however (and *o) shall have died the husband (of her *k) free she is to whom she wills to be married, only in [the] Lord.
40 Tedae kai kah kopoek bangla om mai koinih a yoethen ni. Kai long khaw Pathen kah Mueihla a khueh tila ka poek.
More blessed however she is if in the same manner she shall remain, according to my judgment; I think (now *NK+o) myself also myself also [the] Spirit of God to have.
