1 Kri mah ang loih o sak boeh pongah loihhaih ah kacakah angdoe oh, hmuenzit phaw misong ah om o let hma lai ah.
Stand firm therefore in the liberty by which Messiah has made us free, and do not be entangled again with a yoke of bondage.
2 Khenah, kai Pawl mah nangcae khaeah hae tiah lok ka thuih, tangzat hin aahhaih thungah na oh o nahaeloe, Kri loe nangcae han tidoeh atho om mak ai.
Listen, I, Paul, tell you that if you receive circumcision, Messiah will profit you nothing.
3 Tangzat hin aat kami boih khaeah hae tiah lok ka thuih let, to baktih kami loe kaalok pazui boih hanah laiba tawn kami ah ni oh.
Yes, I testify again to every man who receives circumcision, that he is a debtor to do the whole law.
4 Mi kawbaktih doeh kaalok hoiah toenghaih hnu kami loe, Kri hoiah angthla moe, tahmenhaih thung hoiah amtim ving boeh.
You are alienated from Messiah, you who desire to be justified by the law. You have fallen away from grace.
5 Toe aicae loe tanghaih rang hoiah Muithla ah, oep ih toenghaih to a zing o.
For we, through the Ruach, by faith wait for the hope of righteousness.
6 Jesu Kri ah loe tangzat hin aat hoi aat ai atho ohhaih tidoeh om ai; toe amlunghaih hoiah sak ih tanghaih ah loe atho oh.
For in Messiah Yeshua neither circumcision amounts to anything, nor uncircumcision, but faith working through love.
7 Nangcae loe kahoihah na cawnh o e, loktang lok tahngaih han ai ah mi mah maw ang pakaa o?
You were running well. Who interfered with you that you should not obey the truth?
8 To baktih zoekhaih loe nangcae kakawk Anih khae hoiah angzo ai.
This persuasion is not from him who calls you.
9 Taeh tetta mah takaw to uegh boih.
A little hametz grows through the whole lump.
10 Poekhaih kalah na tawn o mak ai, tiah Angraeng ah oephaih ka tawnh: toe mi kawbaktih doeh, nangcae raihaih paek kami loe, a zaehaih baktih toengah lokcaekhaih to tong tih.
I have confidence toward you in the Lord that you will think no other way. But he who troubles you will bear his judgment, whoever he is.
11 To pacoengah nawkamyanawk, tangzat hin aahhaih to ka thuih vop nahaeloe, tipongah vaihi khoek to pacaekthlaekhaih ka tong vop loe? To tiah ka thuih nahaeloe thinglam kawng pongah lok angaekhaih doeh om mak ai boeh.
But I, brothers, if I still preach circumcision, why am I still persecuted? Then the stumbling block of the cross has been removed.
12 Nangcae raihaih paek kaminawk to na tacawt o sak ving hanah koehhaih ka tawnh.
I wish that those who disturb you would cut themselves off.
13 Nawkamyanawk, na loih o hanah ang kawk boeh; toe to loihhaih to atue karaem taksa koehhaih bangah patoh ai ah, maeto hoi maeto amlunghaih hoiah tok to sah oh.
For you, brothers, were called for freedom. Only do not use your freedom for gain to the flesh, but through love be servants to one another.
14 Nangmah baktih toengah, na imtaeng kami to palung ah, tiah thuih ih kaalok maeto na pazui nahaeloe, kaaloknawk boih pazui ah ni oh.
For the whole law is fulfilled in one word, in this: "You are to love your neighbor as yourself."
15 Toe maeto hoi maeto nang kaek o moe, na caak o nahaeloe, maeto hoi maeto amrohaih na tongh o moeng tih, acoehaih hoiah khosah oh.
But if you bite and devour one another, be careful that you do not consume one another.
16 To pongah hae tiah ka thuih, taksa koehhaih na sak o han ai ah, Muithla ah hing oh.
But I say, walk by the Ruach, and you will not carry out the desires of the flesh.
17 Taksa koehhaih mah Muithla to koeh ai, Muithla mah taksa to koeh ai: hae hmuen hnik loe maeto hoi maeto buenglueng tamlet ah oh hoi: to pongah na koeh ih hmuennawk to na sah o thai ai.
For the flesh lusts against the Ruach, and the Ruach against the flesh; and these are contrary to one another, that you may not do the things that you desire.
18 Toe Muithla mah lam na patuek o nahaeloe, kaalok thungah na om o ai boeh.
But if you are led by the Ruach, you are not under the law.
19 Vaihi taksa koehhaih loe hae tiah amtueng; to hmuennawk loe zu sava laep ah nongpa nongpata zaehaih, tamquta hoi zae sakhaih, ciimcai ai ah khosakhaih, zae sak koeh hmoekhaih,
Now the works of the flesh are obvious, which are: sexual immorality, uncleanness, lustfulness,
20 krang bokhaih, kami doihaih, hnukmahaih, lok angaekhaih, am-aehaih, palungphuihaih, angzoehhaih, ampraekhaih, poek lahhaih,
idolatry, sorcery, hatred, strife, jealousies, outbursts of anger, rivalries, divisions, heresies,
21 uthaih, kami humhaih, mu paquihaih, poih caakhaih hoi to baktih hmuennawk boih: to baktih khosakhaih dan pazui kaminawk loe Sithaw mah siangpahrang ah uk ih prae to toep o mak ai, tiah canghniah kang thuih o baktih toengah, kang thuih o coek boeh.
envyings, murders, drunkenness, orgies, and things like these; of which I forewarn you, even as I also forewarned you, that those who practice such things will not inherit the Kingdom of God.
22 Toe Muithla ih thingthai loe amlunghaih, anghoehaih, monghaih, palungsawkhaih, tahmenhaih, hoihhaih, tanghaih,
But the fruit of the Ruach is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,
23 poeknaemhaih, angsum thaihaihnawk hae ni: to baktih tuinuen hoi kangaek kaalok to om ai.
gentleness, and self-control. Against such things there is no law.
24 Kri ih kaminawk loe taksa hoi taksa koehhaih to thinglam pongah takhing o boeh.
Those who belong to Messiah have crucified the flesh with its passions and lusts.
25 Muithla ah a hing o nahaeloe, Muithla ah lamcaeh o si.
If we live by the Ruach, let us also walk by the Ruach.
26 Tidoeh avang ai ahmin amthanghaih, maeto hoi maeto karai paekhaih, maeto hoi maeto uthaihnawk to koeh o hma si.
Let us not become conceited, provoking one another, and envying one another.
