Rom 14
1 Tanghaih bangah thahnaem kaminawk to talawk oh, toe palunghaengh koi kaom hmuennawk pongah loe nihcae hoi lok angaek o hmah.
Now accept one who is weak in faith, but not for disputes over opinions.
2 Kami maeto mah loe hmuennawk boih caak thaih, tiah tanghaih a tawnh: toe kalah tanghaih thazok kami maeto mah loe aan khue ni a caak.
One person has faith to eat all things, but the one who is weak eats only vegetables.
3 Toe Sithaw mah anih to talawk boeh pongah, caa kami mah caa ai kami to patoek hmah nasoe; caa ai kami mah doeh caa kami to lokcaek hmah nasoe.
Do not let the one who eats despise the one who does not eat. Do not let the one who does not eat judge the one who eats, for God has accepted him.
4 Minawk ih tamna lokcaek kami nang loe mi aa? Angmah ih angraeng mah khue ni anih loe katoeng kami maw, katoeng ai kami, tiah lokcaek thai tih. Ue, Sithaw mah loe anih to toengsak thaih pongah, anih to toengsak tih.
Who are you who judge another's servant? To his own lord he stands or falls. Yes, he will be made to stand, for the Lord has power to make him stand.
5 Kami maeto mah loe ani maeto pongah loe kalah ani to hoih kue, tiah poek: kalah kami mah loe ani loe anghmong boih, tiah poek. Kami boih a poekhaih baktiah om nasoe.
One esteems one day as more important; and another one esteems every day alike. Let each one be fully convinced in his own mind.
6 Ani zaa kami loe Angraeng han ih ni a zaah; ani zaa ai kami loe, Angraeng hanah zaa ai. Kacaa kami loe, Angraeng ah a caak pongah, Sithaw khaeah kawnhaih lok to thuih; kacaa ai kami loe, Angraeng ah caa ai pongah, Sithaw khaeah kawnhaih lok thui ai.
The one who observes the day, observes it to the Lord; and the one who does not observe the day, he does not observe it to the Lord. The one who eats, he eats to the Lord; since he gives thanks to God. And the one who does not eat, he does not eat to the Lord, and gives thanks to God.
7 Aicae loe angmah han khue a hing o ai, angmah han khue a dueh o ai.
For none of us lives to himself, and none dies to himself.
8 A hing o nahaeloe, Angraeng ah ni a hing o; a duek o cadoeh, Angraeng ah ni a duek o: to pongah, a hing o cadoeh, a duek o cadoeh, aicae loe Angraeng ih qawk ah ni a oh o.
For if we live, we live to the Lord. Or if we die, we die to the Lord. If therefore we live or die, we are the Lord's.
9 Kri loe kadueh kami hoi kahing kami ih Angraeng ah oh thai hanah, a duek, angthawk let moe, a hing let boeh.
For to this end Messiah died, and lived again, that he might be Lord of both the dead and the living.
10 Aicae loe Kri lokcaekhaih tangkhang hmaa ah angdoe boih tih, to tiah nahaeloe tih hanah nam nawkamya to lok na caek loe? To tih ai boeh loe tih hanah nam nawkamya to na khet patoek loe?
But you, why do you judge your brother? Or you again, why do you despise your brother? For we will all stand before the judgment seat of God.
11 Cabu thungah, Kai ka hing pongah, kami boih ka hmaa ah khokkhu cangkrawn o tih, kami boih mah Sithaw to taphong o tih, tiah Angraeng mah thuih ih lok tarik ih oh.
For it is written, "'As I live,' says the Lord, 'to me every knee will bow. Every tongue will confess to God.'"
12 To naah aicae boih mah Anih kawng to Sithaw hmaa ah taphong o tih.
So then each one of us will give account of himself to God.
13 To pongah aicae mah maeto hoi maeto lokcaek o hma lai si: toe mi kawbaktih doeh nawkamya amtimh han ih maw, to tih ai boeh loe amthaek han ih maw sah o hma si.
Therefore let us not judge one another any more, but judge this rather, not to put a stumbling block in a brother's way, or an occasion for falling.
14 Angraeng Jesu tanghaih rang hoiah, Kawbaktih caaknaek doeh angmah koehah amhnong ai, tiah a panoek o: toe ciimcai ai, tiah poek kami hanah loe, to hmuen to ciim ai.
I know, and am persuaded in the Lord Yeshua, that nothing is unclean of itself; except that to him who considers anything to be unclean, to him it is unclean.
15 Toe na caak ih buh pongah nawkamya palung na setsak nahaeloe, nang loe amlunghaih hoiah khosah kami na ai vop ni. Anih hanah Kri duek boeh pongah na caak ih buh hoiah anih to amrosak hmah.
Yet if because of food your brother is grieved, you walk no longer in love. Do not destroy with your food him for whom Messiah died.
16 Na hoihhaih to kasae thuihaih ah om hmah nasoe:
Then do not let your good be slandered,
17 Sithaw mah siangpahrang ah uk ih prae loe caak naekhaih ahmuen na ai ni; Kacai Muithla ah toenghaih, angdaehhaih hoi anghoehaih ah ni oh.
for the Kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness, peace, and joy in the Ruach ha-Kodesh.
18 To tiah Kri toksah kami loe Sithaw hmaa ah tapom han koiah oh, kaminawk mah pakoeh han koiah doeh oh.
For he who serves Messiah in these things is acceptable to God and approved by people.
19 To pongah aicae loe angdaehhaih hoi kami qoengsak thaih hmuen to patom o si.
So then, let us follow after things which make for peace, and things by which we may build one another up.
20 Caaknaekhaih hoiah Sithaw toksakhaih to amrosak hmah. Hmuen boih loe ciim; toe kami amtimsak hanah caak to hoih ai.
Do not overthrow God's work for food's sake. All things indeed are clean, however it is evil for anyone who creates a stumbling block by eating.
21 Nam nawkamya amtimsak hanah loe moi doeh, misurtui doeh, kawbaktih caaknaeknawk doeh caak han om ai.
It is good to not eat meat, drink wine, or do anything by which your brother stumbles, or is offended, or is made weak.
22 Tanghaih na tawnh maw? Na tawnh nahaeloe nangmah hanah Sithaw hmaa ah tawn ah. A koeh moe, sak ih hmuen pongah angmah hoi angmah lok angcaek ai kami loe tahamhoih.
The faith you have, keep between yourself and God. Happy is the one who does not judge himself in that which he approves.
23 Toe palunghaenghaih hoiah caa kami loe, tanghaih palung hoiah caa ai pongah, zaehaih a tawnh: to pongah tanghaih hoiah sah ai ih hmuen boih loe zaehaih ah ni oh.
But he who doubts is condemned if he eats, because it is not of faith; and whatever is not of faith is sin.
